Lily of the Valley

Floral and green. I absolutely love this one, it is my new favorite and such a surprising discovery. lily of the valley and lily are extremely dominant here, this one may not suit everyone, it is definitely acquired taste. I have lily of the valley flowers growing and blooming in my butterfly garden, and while it is true that natural lily of the valley oil cannot be extracted, this perfume is the closest to the real flower in my observation, when compared to real ones that I can actually smell every season. It is also decently long lasting, on the skin and hair it lasts for 5-6 hours, while on clothes lingers for at least 2-3 days. Fragrance is definitely more simple, without confusing accords, very straight forward lily of the valley and lily : white floral, very green, crisp, intoxicating, it is both powerful and delicate. It is just slightly watery and airy and has woodsy and soapy undertones which become more noticeable in the dryout. This is the closest one to the real flower I managed to find, I tried many that have lily of the valley in the composition, but here it is indeed dominant note. I love Elvie from Oriflame, it was one of my fav. Lov ones until now (that one also has lily of the valley in composition, but it is more aquatic and ephemeral, and has other dominant floral notes, while this one is definitely green and distinctly white-floral-intoxicating to the point and it does not have complex mix of confusing notes. It is also not a citrusy mix like I find Yves Rocher's lov one, which I also had but found disappointing and too citrusy. this one is neither citrusy, nor sexy, heavy nor sweet, it is not romantically girly.it is perfectly green and White floral, absolutely intoxicatingly gorgeous.as a devoted lover of lily and lily of the valley this one is my new favourite in my collection.

This parfume is wonderful and it's definitely the only parfume faithful to the scent of lily-of-the valley. I love it so much! and for those born on May is the parfume which more represent the 'spring-personality'.

Wonderful, very reallistic LOTV! Nothing else - just amazing bouquet of LOTV, nothing distracting. I would say must have for those, who love LOTV!

I think this is an absolutely lovely little perfume! It is incredibly green, fresh, and (to me) feels very accurate to the smell of LOTV. Is it maybe a liiittle bit synthetic? Maybe, but I honestly don't mind it at all. Longevity isn't crazy long but for the price I think it's pretty acceptable. I have absolutely 0 complaints and love to use this to brighten my mood from time to time; it's just a typical LOTV fragrance, not super unique but still lovely!

Second bottle – one of the best florals by L'Erbolario. Lily of the Valley is springtime in a bottle, it's totally floral and kinda reminds me of Olene by Diptyque. It projects softly but longevity is great; I'll get a third bottle once this one is over.

I love lily of the valley and am obsessed with finding my perfect LOTV fragrance. Well, this is not it. It is not bad but the LOTV is not green enogh for my taste and it is overall a bit too soapy.

I don't really like it :( it's kinda strong with the Lily perfume, almost suffocating to me but I'm sure other people can like it, tho def not a safe blind buy

Blind bought the small bottle of it based on reviews and I am disappointed: smells like a cheap low-quality version of the lotv. Whatever the lotv out there is, it is synthetic but this one is so in a specially unpleasant way. I have tried this both on my hand and shirt in different times over many months after the purchase, it doesn't work either way. Unfortunately, this has been the third scent from L'Erbolario that I have tried, all blind bought, and I have liked none of them because of wrong and cheap smelling smells when compared to the real flower. (Their packages and bottles are nice though.) For comparison, Yves Rocher's Muguet En Fleurs is much more closer to the real smell of lily of the valley and very good. This Mughetto is already the 5th example of a lotv-based scents I'm testing and only the YR's version "works" so far. So where's there real thing hidden in the fragrance world?... Because YR's scent is also not exactly the lotv, it's only been better and even enjoyable when compared to any other.

I loved the lily of the valley shower gel version, which is beutifullly woody and deep- It smells like damp deep garden and dried lilly of valley flowers in a book, old polished wooden floors and equestrian set up. I love it so much i purchased the perfume version blindly, as the foolish naive clown that i was, and was deeply dissapointed to find myself in the possesion of a headache inducing, linear granny perfume. I smell cheap white musc, fresia and cheap empty husk version of my dear lily of the valley. I usually love granny perfumes, but this is more like a granny with poor taste. It feels too white anf fluffy and flat-feverish. But if you like the scent good for you, as this thing is long lasting and has a good projection.

There is a colleague of mine at work wearing this. It is such a nice fresh and soft spoken lily of the valley and a good choice for work, as I can only distinguish it when she and I come close to talk. It is very pleasant and innocent, a must try for lily of the valley lovers.
