Les Copains

My big sister used to wear it when I was a kid. It had that dramatic, over the top '80 vibe but in more casual, sporty kind of way. Italians do that better than anyone. It was fun. And she gave me a bottle of Green Fizz, the coolest sister ever! I loved it. It smelled exactly how it looked, like lime and kiwi soda, but not sticky. Way ahead of its time. And longevity was outstanding.

01. november 2016 Well,i have tried this perfume today and though i might say i still have mixed feelings about it i need to say that this is complex smelling despite of very few notes only and it has definitely caught my attention. Starts out as a combo of rose and cedar (hello, middle and base notes) it is smelling quite pleasant and light, just a tiny bit spicy, but within few minutes it turns into something different. I start to smell a mix of fresh mandarine/orange and amber with a cloud of tuberose. Oh, and a strong jasmine is also here to stay and will rule the composition soon. One must smell this before judge it, since it might sound disastrous but it actually smells very unusual and quite pleasant. I certainly smell the "oriental-floral" in this perfume. There is a spiciness and freshness and sweetness all at once. The silage is quite heavy and lasting power up to 4 hours. Still undecided about this one, but it certainly is interesting enough. Need to retry it several more times. UPDATE: (next morning) The lasting power begs for compliments and the drydown is all about Lancome ́s Poeme drydown. I have never tried Nazareno to which one Les Copians is compared but since Nazareno is compared to Poeme, then i guess it is a match!!! Indeed the whole composition smells like light and more citrusy Poeme, now i get it!!! I have been wearing Poeme just last week and that ́s why Les Copains smelled so familiar to me!

It is wonderful perfume I had smelled.
