fairly new to fragrances so don’t expect to hear something incredibly insightful. i like the idea of using fragrance to communicate what kind of mood i’m in, especially to my husband. for this scent i was hoping to use it during my peak ovulation, when you crave hardcore sweaty sex the most, that’s exactly what this scent reminds me of, a pretty girl and sweaty sex. the scent is definitely unisex, but as a masculine scent i feel it is a bit more versatile, and for women it’s more for a specific occasion. like when you want to look and smell irresistible. i wouldn't wear this to work, fancy occasions, or to meet his family. tho for both genders id say this is better as a sexy date smell.

A lovely (but somewhat timid) beast as its name suggests this is a modern Oriental with a slight animalic twist. The perfume opens with aromatic notes including sage, saffron, rhubarb, pepper, and nuts. The heart is mostly cashmeran and patchouli with slight hints of coffee, cumin, vetiver and tonka bean. The perfume soon settles into its powdery musky base of musk mallow surrounded by synthetic civet and castoreum, costus root and suede. This will not please die hard animalic fans because those notes are pretty tame and others will find it just strange. A unisex scent that has moderate sillage and projection and good longevity. Overall, interesting because it is one animalic I can wear safely to work. Enjoy!

wow skin chemistry is a fascinating thing. this smells like smoky-rubbery mothballs on me. i definitely think castoreum is the strongest note here. there is something pretty and floral waaay in the background but is drowned out by intense smoky animalic notes. after being on the skin longer, i believe i am smelling primarily iris with some saffron, which is actually pretty nice, but it's mixed with rubbery mothballs...oh i don't really know what to make of this one.

Not to be too crude, but I smell exactly like this fragrance if I don't shower for a day during the summer. This just smells like a smelly (old) man, a hairy one. It actually smells like a sweaty armpit, including the deodorant. It gets better with time, and not as repulsive. But honestly I have this naturally for free.

I find the opening very nice, a nondescript but lovely sweet mixture. Then the projection gets soft quite quickly and smells like burning rubber (still liking it). After a few hours (by the time you have to dig your nose in to detect it) it smells like rubber and excrement. More than a little repulsive. I'm not a fan.

There is something weird is going on here! Dust animalic with hazelnuts! to be honest, it's like their previous creation "Peau de Bete" lowered somehow and overdosed with hazelnuts. Some old used dusky leather and some chilies. Castoreum is there but no civit, there are musk mellow, & rhubarb. Les Liquides Imaginaires aren't good in creating animalic fragrances somehow as the animalic line is unbalanced with that unbearable stink (Excluding Ile Pourpre).

I might be crazy but this is the closest thing ive ever smelled to Pandan leaf in perfumery. I dont think it was intentional, also it seems every single reviewer picked up something different from this fragrance. Im assuming its based on skin chemistry.
