Bois Fuchsia

ok idk what cassis is supposed to smell like, so before i looked at the notes i thought this definitely had oakmoss bc it smells green-earthy. i don't particularly pick up on the litchi but i can tell there's some kind of a red berry involved with some floral elements. super nice actually, also doesn't smell like nail polish. this is quite refreshing, it's dirty yet uplifting fruity and a tad green, just balanced and safe for everyday wear and relatively safe blindbuy.

The raspberry in Bois Fuchsia stands out in the same way it does in Guerlain French Kiss or JHAG Mmmm, with the iris/ powdery (rose) note, however, it smells like raspberry with the leaves and the fresh soil together. If you can get past the earthy smell, it is a lovely and unique scent. The earthy smell does move to the back at some point but it's there. A more mature scent i would say.

I like a lot of the fragrances from this house, but this one is not safe for blind buying, because like Boring stated below, it smells just like nail polish on me! I usually love all things black currant and cassis, but now I understand what people mean when they say cat piss. Very sharp and hurt my nose. Glad I had a sample.

I can only smell of strong nail polish scent, if you know what I meant. Not pleasant and can’t imagine I will wear it on myself.
