Bayadere

This is how a modern version of Opium should be, if this iconic perfume had to be modernized at all costs! Unlike the current lame and bordering blasphemous excuse version of a classic, Bayadère pays a solemn and respectful tribute to the cornerstone that Opium once was, by having a heart and all the feelings and emotions that usually come with it. A brave and lonely soul it is, fighting courageously for its place in a sea of huge, sickening sweet waves that threaten to drown it for embarassing them, and proudly standing its ground against the hordes of boring gourmands that want to ostracize it to oblivion, for being such an outstanding, yet discordant note in the current cacophony of the one-step-away-from-diabetes one hit wonders that dominate the charts nowadays. A standing ovation for Enrico Bucella who had the guts to release such a perfume during the candy-laden second decade of the 21st century, and what's more, at a price that does not defy reason...

I imagine Salma Hayek wearing this in the notorious, seductive scene of "Satanico Pandemonico" snake dance from "Dusk till Dawn". A magic and mysterious reinprentation of Opium collection, but unfortunately it cannot be found anywhere.
