Floating

I was a little nervous about this one based off some reviews, but I am so pleasantly surprised at how soft and elegant this scent is. The wild orchid note is so light and beautifully integrated into this fresh clean airy sweet aroma of the peach and linen. I’ve heard some say it’s an old lady or cat pee??! Absolutely not!!! This is both youthful and perfectly mature and Sophisticated. an amazing balance of all of the notes and the sequoia wood really grounds it and makes it so cozy. (Update: this perfume lasted a solid 6 hours on me) This for sure is an intimate perfume but it definitely lasts way longer than people suggest. It’s not a powerhouse frag. Obviously. But it’s non offensive and alluring. My only complaint would be the price for a full bottle that is only a moderate longevity. But gorgeous nonetheless. I tried the cheaper “dupe” for it, clean reserves sparkling sugar, they have similar qualities but floating is hands down so much more elegant. Sparkling sugar is a lot more sweet. I enjoyed it but it’s just not an all together perfect dupe for floating in my opinion. Also Glossier you, is another *somewhat* “similar” very distant cousin to this but still for sure not it by a long run. Nothing beats floating to say the least. Beautiful...light...fresh...Liis Floating reminds me of something I can't quite put my finger on. It isn't another fragrance that it reminds me of, it's some sort of comforting memory. Floating is like a daydream. It's reminiscent of my childhood in some cozy way...of a sunny day...of my mom's perfume wafting through the air when I was little. It's an airy delight. As subtle as it is, I find it absolutely gorgeous and can't stop smelling myself when I spray it on. It may not have incredible projection, but when you do smell it...man, it's dreamy. Floating is the perfect name for this scent, as it makes me feel like I'm walking on a cloud. If you like fresh, clean scents - this is worth a try. I got a sample, used it up and couldn't let it go so I got the full bottle. I admit, somehow I didn’t specifically pick up the peach note at first. Instead, I got this comforting, inviting sweetness that I couldn’t get enough. After having the bottle for some time, now I do smell the peach but, as others have stated, it’s like the fuzzy outside rather than the fleshy inside if that makes sense. Sweet, airy, comforting, nostalgic and clean.

The first time I smelled this, I couldn’t really detect what I smelled. I got something flowery and fruity, and strong. And that is when it showed itself to me. This scent is the picture of a summer day without worries. You are driving on the way to the beach, with the car windows rolled all the way down. You are wearing a clean summer dress, or shirt, and your hair is freshly washed and are still damp. Whilst riding in this car you are eating a sweet peach, and the juice is running down your fingers and making them sticky. At that is it. Floating... You get to your destination and it has transformed. You are stuck with a clean scent, like a peach scented laundry detergent with a little spicy oumpf. Nevertheless it is still detectable on my skin after 6 hours, but the big peachy cloud you initially get is gone after just half an hour or so. The scent had become some quiet luxury, but I still love it. I’m definitly buing a full sized bottle, I feel like that is enough said.

I loved this one so hard I forgot to review it! I've been looking for something with a sequoia note that doesn't smell too much like hamster cage bedding and I have found it. I finally understand what people mean when they say something "smells like laundry" or "just out of the shower," both of which I thought sounded boring and unpleasant. Maybe that would be the case with other laundry smells, but this is too warm and nostalgic to be boring for me. I grew up near Sequoia National Park and find this specific dry wood note very, very cozy. There's a photo somewhere of my grandma bathing a toddler me in a plastic basin in the giant forest outside of her old camper. For me, Floating embodies it. I keep wanting to wear something else but I end up reaching for Floating instead because it's that easy. It does disappear on skin after a few short hours, but lingers on clothing all day. For me it's absolutely worth it, even though it's arguably overpriced.

All I ever wanted was to be a rosey pink floral girl, but i headache & overwhelm easily. A fragance couldnt dissapate ENOUGH, SOONER. Floating has changed everything for me. Floating is just there, and it's just pretty. The combination of linen, floral, and fruit is beyond my comprehension -- fresh, clean, & airy yet sweet, floral, and peachy. I could just live in this scent! It's just so good and perfect to me. And yet I'll echo other reviews on the poor longevity of this scent and must admit this requires reapplication, and I would NEVER EVER with any other fragrance. I don't mind though :-) I also appreciate that the alcohol in this is organic sugar cane based. I really am not into formaldehyde or whatever else you might denature alcohol with, and I think that's why this fragrance doesn't make me sick.. Floating is a win for me. I'm on cloud 9.

I think this is the most perfect, delicate clean woody-floral musk. It is not a powerhouse by any means, but that is exactly what I appreciate about it. Some days, you just want to smell delicate and beautiful without anything heavy or offensive in your scent bubble. With overspraying on both skin and clothes, I get decent projection. I am currently on hour three of wearing it, and I am absolutely loving my scent bubble. Longevity-wise, this lives around the 4-5 hour mark, which makes it perfect for quick workdays, errands, or any time you want something easy. I think the issue is less that it disappears quickly and more that this house uses musky bases that people can go nose blind to pretty fast. Floating may not announce itself across the room, but up close, it is such a beautiful, delicate clean-girl woody floral.

floating is, simply put, the most beautiful perfume that i've ever smelled. the peach is bright and realistic, not sickly sweet as a lot of fragrances with peach tend to lean, but more "fuzzy" and fresh. it's exactly the way juice on your fingers after eating the fruit smells. that, combined with linen, evokes the feeling of taking a nap on clean sheets, with the window open on a summer day. it should have instantly become my signature scent. however, this unfortunately evaporates the second you spray it on your skin. i've tried all of the tricks to get even a tiny bit of longevity but nobody has ever been able to smell it on me and i myself can only smell it when i press my nose into my wrists. it really breaks my heart because this is exactly what i've been looking for since i started my collection.

This isint the best way to begin a review, but I want to begin with mentioning that out of the hundreds of perfumes I’ve tried, this is the WORST performance I have ever experienced. It is ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL, it fades as soon as it is applied. It is an in the moment, sensual and cozy fragrance. Like a quick pick-me-up fragrance for nice and clean feels. Now, the fragrance: it’s like putting on a full linen outfit after an everything shower and spritzing it with peach scented linen spray. Mentioning cleaning supplies when talking about a fragrance Isn’t particularly desirable, as it sounds like it’s synthetic and harsh, but on here, it gives it a beautiful peachy feel, radiant and juicy. Peach and linens. It’s gorgeous for the 30 seconds it lasts. Performance is absolutely god awful.

Such a beautiful, ethereal scent! Photorealistic, ripe peaches, a linen note and a white musky base. So relaxing, effortless, and clean. It does have a definite airy, light, "floating" character. The bergamot gives the peach a little punch of sunshine. Sadly, I will not purchase a bottle of this gorgeous scent because on me it just disappears. I have a sensitive nose and strongly prefer scents that are soft. However, I just liberally sprayed this scent on my wrists and I can barely smell it. If I put my nose right up to my wrist I can enjoy it, but what's the fun in that? In the dry down I get a whisper of the floral notes and a hint of wood. I would definitely not describe this scent as woody. To me this is a fruity musk.

Kind of smells like a dryer sheet but in a pleasant way. As someone with a sensitive nose, it's quite light so I really enjoy it. I would purchase a full bottle without a second thought if it weren't so expensive. This scent is so lovely. Edit: unfortunately after testing my sample a few times, I can confirm what everyone else is saying about the projection and longevity. This lasts three hours MAX on me and I have to pretty much put my nose on my wrist to even pick it up. I much prefer skin scents over scents that project a ton, but even this is a little too subtle, especially for the price. It really sucks because it's such a pretty fragrance, I just don't think it's worth it with such poor projection and longevity.

this smells like pristinely clean laundry and waking up surrounded by the softest most pillowy white comforter in a bedroom with tons of natural light, the window is open and the forecast is sunny and 68 degrees (F). i love the aroma but this has very little staying power unless you spray it on your clothes, which begs the question: why hasn’t Liis released this scent as a laundry detergent? other fragrance houses are jumping on the luxury laundry detergent game, i’m surprised they haven’t yet with this. i imagine it has the potential to be a beast mode laundry scent. floating may be my favorite Skin But Better fragrance on me because even after the scent dissipates i still feel like i smell clean and polished.

I'm quite surprised at the number of negative reviews for Liis Floating. This is one of my favourite summer fragrances! Though somewhat pricey, I think that the actual fragrance itself is so beautiful and paints a clear image of a summer trip down to a beachside town. It smells like wearing a fresh clean linen blouse at a small beachside town and a peach orchard is located somewhere in the distance. It smells fresh and ozonic in the best way possible. It does sit closer to the skin, but I actually enjoy the intimacy of the fragrance since I feel like an extrait of this fragrance would be headache inducing. It's a perfect summer scent that smells like a breezy summer day away from home.

Opened really fruity and rosy, drying down into something really soft and warm. I saw another comment that said this smells like a cozy sleepy day in bed feeling the sun on your sheets, and I totally agree. I really like the "linen" note and it reminds me a little bit of a soft peppery/skin scent. Would totally get this just to spritz a little on for a sleepy sunny day of staying in doing chores. It is sweet without being sticky sweet and the peachy fruit notes feel real and a little green and fresh. Very mild skin scent and doesn't travel far, but still really pleasant and makes me feel very put together :) Wish it lasted longer but honestly its so pleasant I would happily re-apply.

Beautiful, light white musk and clean linen with a distinct peach note. Not a heavy, syrupy peach, but a light and fresh hint of juicy peach. I do agree that it's intimate to the point of being barely there. No projection; I have to lean in within an inch of my wrist to smell it at all and I just sprayed it 15 minutes ago. I do love the scent, but I can't justify the cost of a full bottle for something so light. That said, this would be lovely for someone who prefers very subtle scents, works in a setting where perfume is not considered appropriate, etc. I ordered the Liis sampler set, so I'll be curious to see if they are all this light or if any of them have a bit more substance.

This is a really clean freshie with a hint of fruit. I do like this, but the fruit isn't particularly distinguishable. You can't tell what fruit it is, but it does add a sweetness to this fragrance that helps balance the stronger linen note. Very much a skin scent with little to no projection or sillage. I dabbed this on my wrists before bed, and while I still get a little whiff of it on my wrists, I can't smell it unless I put my nose to my skin. Longevity is weak to moderate. This is probably my favorite freshie out there - it is perfumey, but it's not soapy or powdery, nor does it smell like straight laundry detergent or air freshener.

I find most scents too overpowering, so I love the lightness of Floating (and Liis as a whole ❤️) This is such an incredibly easy reach, I'm always so happy to wear it. I don't typically have issues with longevity, and the same is true here. The opening of this is a lightly sweet, fuzzy peach skin. Very natural and gentle, it's super comforting to me. But I actually swoon over the woodiness that comes through in the drydown / mid. It's a sweet, dark wood - no pencil shavings here. I've never smelled a sequoia note before, but this has me looking for more, despite not enjoying primarily-woody fragrances. This is a strong FB for me.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. It does smell like peach, but in a light, airy, almost fuzzy way. It almost seems to have a marshmallow note, with how fluffy and airy it feels--but it's not really sweet, like you would expect in a typical marshmallow perfume. It smells like peach fuzz and unsweetened marshmallow (which I know doesn't exist... but still, this is the best way I can think to describe this scent). It's so beautiful, comforting, cozy, natural. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. It also has an incredibly intimate projection and fades pretty quickly. Nevertheless, it is so lovely. I'm seriously in awe.

There's something absolutely intoxicating about this scent. It's like a lazy Sunday morning in a bottle. Absolutely adore the top notes of peaches - one of the most realistic peach scents I've smelled so far - and that clean linen, woodsy dry down takes this fragrance in a more nuanced direction than being pure peachy sweetness. It seems to last longer on my clothes than on my skin, and I do wish it lingered a little longer (I start to notice it's almost totally faded on my skin after only a couple hours). At the same time, that top peach note is so addictive I almost don't mind reapplying often.

Bought a full bottle because it is a lovely, clean peach-tree-outside-with-clean-laundry-on-the-line beautiful summer (almost) perfume. It lasts less than 30 minutes and for that I rated it as way overpriced. I love the scent, but it’s barely there and 100% gone before you even leave the house. It’s an “only-me” bedtime scent that is very pretty and very brief. It behaves like a cheap body mist. Not really a perfume to me. Will look for better performing alternatives in the lane of peach, clean skin, airy musks if anyone has recommendations that perform like a true perfume?

I used to love Jo Malone's nectarine blossom and honey for how juicy, clean, and skin-like it smelled. I went to buy a bottle, and it was so stinky and sat on my skin entirely differently. While mourning the loss of one of my fav scents, I found this, and it really fills that gap for me! Its just the perfect clean peach scent that melts into your skin and is so soft and light and I love this for cold mornings after a shower. Liis makes beautiful fragrances, but yes, their longevity is terrible, so I find myself spraying more than usual.

I love Floating so so so much! This is the first fragrance I've ever used a full bottle of and did so in about 14 months. It is incredibly light, fresh, bright but not sweet. Smells like truly biting into a peach, adding in a splash of bergamot/zest then clean linen but NOT laundry/soapy at all. It does not last long and it does hold close to the skin, but it's exactly the fragrance I'd want to check those boxes when I want a light scent. I wear it in spring, summer, bed time, as seasons are changing... it just works !

This smells like a peach flavored bubble in the best way, lol 🍑🫧 But it’s not soapy, more so freshly washed laundry or fluffy dryer sheet static. It makes me feel like i just put on a fresh clean shirt and i keep getting wafts of that addicting fluffy laundry smell. Paired with hints of realistic peach that is *ever so slightly* sweet and airy translucent woods in the base (reminds me of ambroxan or JHAG not a perfume). This is so addicting!!

opens with peach & a bit of citrus then dries down to a soapy linen scent. Ignore the other notes. You won’t smell them unless you are intentionally searching. This perfume reminds me of the song Chemtrails over the country club by Lana Del Rey. Especially the lyrics “Washing my Hair, doing the laundry, late night TV, I want you only” It’s a non-offensive, light, breezy scent. It is the cleanest clean fruity laundry smell.

Peach flavoured laundry. As the time goes on, I can smell the peach coming forward a bit more. It’s an intimate scent; you won’t get a big projection and as with all Liis scents, I have to stick my nose into my wrist to detect it’s even there but I’m not too mad about this given the peach note. Would I buy a whole bottle though? Probably not. Unfortunately the peach isn’t realistic enough for me to really make me commit.

This is a beautiful scent: Soft, linen-y, fruity & a touch of floral in dreamy blur. Whereas Studied is my favorite scent from Liis, this one is the most nostalgic for me. It has a slight sharpness to it, is it the sour peach?, that doesn’t make it boring. Not too sweet either. It’s definitely a scent that grows on you too, getting more complex with time. My only wish, as with Studied, is that it lasted longer..

WOW. This is the most gorgeous linen fragrance. Think peach Bellini, sans syrup / artificial peach. Floating is chic, airy, sparkling, light. Familiar, effortless, summer skin. Like standing by a clothes line while eating a peach at 4pm on a warm island. Signature scent worthy - especially in summer - if not for the frighteningly abysmal longevity. <3 floating’s only crime is how fast it disappears - tragic.

Juicy peach and a cold freshly washed blanket. Yes it smells cold. On the skin it turns more woody for me and it’s soooo nice. Will try layering it to achieve a sweet your skin but better perfume. I literally love this perfume but sometimes it smells like the way you feel when you are starvingly hungry. It’s weird but it smells like a feeling to me. That is salivating aching hunger so that’s not good

Someone else left a comment on here that this smells like if call me by your name was a perfume and I 100% agree. This is a photo-realistic peach and clean linen. It is bright smelling, and the linen smooths down the scent. This fragrance has me imagining myself drinking a fizzy peach sparkling water on fresh linens before bedtime. I will be getting a full-sized bottle of this for the summer.

I understand what many are saying about longevity but, on my clothes, it lasts quite a bit longer than on my skin. I really enjoy the super clean smell. I have many other fragrances so I have no problem wearing this as a gym scent or a bedtime scent. For those who want that clean laundry smell without drawing a lot of attention, this is a nice option. Signature scent worthy for some.

while this totally could be a summer daytime fragrance, to me this is the perfect spring night perfume. it’s super sweet and juicy but clean and atmospheric at the same time. i wish they would come out with an oil or lotion of this fragrance for layering to improve the performance, though :( i get about 2 hours out of this, maybe? but i’m willing to ignore that for the fragrance lol

On first wear, the initial peach note was so strong that I wasn't sure it was for me. The dry down, however, is this stunning, soft clean peachy musk - it feels like picnicking in your backyard on a warm spring day. As this is meant to be a skin scent, I won't comment much on the sillage or longevity, though I do find that it lasts a significantly longer time on clothing.

Gorgeous, photorealistic fuzzy peach skin. The opening is a lovely bright peach grounded by linen and it dries down to the opposite - musky linen with a hint of peach. Lovely one for the skin scent fans. Pairs nicely with White Rice and I could see this working really well with a sandalwood for fall. But don't get me wrong, she stands alone just fine :-)

if you ever wondered what the peachy breeze ice cream from diary of a wimpy kid: the ugly truth smells like- this is it. spicy orchid and bergamot are quintessentially green, but they translate as a cool burst of air. the tickling at the roof of your mouth after chewing five gum and drinking ice water in succession, freezing ice cream on a hot palate.

very lovely peach and linen scent. smells of freshly washed hair and crisp peaches. sweet and airy a classic “your skin but better” while I love the scent it is widely priced for how light it is. Lasts a couple hours, longer on clothing. very feminine scent that’s inoffensive. perfect to smell like a freshly showered princess during any season

Fresh, fruity laundry. a bit fizzy at the start but the opening lasts like 20ish minutes on my skin. Performance is lacking... too much for $175. If this perfume performed better and projected more than having to put your nose on your skin then it would be 5/5, but considering the poor performance and high quality ingredients, it's 3/5.

Opens with peach and lemon that feel like sun rays softened through sheer curtains, before drying down to a washing line full of gently billowing linens. There’s also something about this that reminds me of thinly sliced starfruit. For such a bright fragrance, how does it remain so soft? I’m mystified. Another lovely one from Liis.

Shimmering peach, clean air, and a faint woody base. Sheer, elegant, and gorgeous in its quiet simplicity. A real stunner for those who pay attention. The projection is intimate (which is a must for me, personally) and it doesn’t last long, but I’m thrilled to re-experience it every few hours. My first perfume purchase in years.

One of the best smelling perfumes EVER! It’s so light and fresh and clean but also has something special in it with the peach. The dry down turns a little sweeter too. The only downside to it is that it doesn’t last very long and I find myself having to reapply it quite often. Other than that it’s such a beautiful smell.

I don’t know why this is classed as a woody fragrance. This is 100% fruity/fresh. Gorgeous, crisp linens on a bright summer day. You bite in to a ripe and juicy peach and the juices stain your crisp linen shirt. You immediately throw the shirt into the laundry and what’s left is the remnants of a beautiful fragrance.

If this had a lasting power and more projection, this would be my signature scent. I adore the smell of it. To me it smells like cold air. The peach in here isn’t too sweet(thankfully). It is my everyday scent and when I don’t feel like wearing a perfume or if I have morning nausea lol. I love it so much

Very feminine, clean with fruity floral undertones throughout. Like you used peach scented dryer sheets on freshly washed clothes. It's a beautiful scent for summer. I think any age could enjoy this but it leans young and energetic while also, somehow, feeling grounded. For me it's a love love love

aptly named for sure. there's a luminous quality to this fragrance, it feels like opening your eyes to the sunrise. looove the juicyness of the peach against the clean linen note. really beautiful. but yes, all the other reviewers are correct - no longevity at all :(

I got chills when I sprayed this for the first time. So clean, so beautiful. Somehow this gives me both “lazy day inside” vibes but also “very expensive boutique with fancy pretty ladies working”. I just love it. I want to spray it everywhere in my house.

Really lovely perfume for the 45 or so mins I'm able to enjoy smelling it.. 🥲 If this lasted longer it would for sure be full bottle worthy. The peach is super fresh, the linen note is definitely there but not over the top. The sequoia is wonderful too.

I have never taken to a perfume so quickly. It smells like you're reading a book outside under a peach tree on a sunny day, with freshly washed laundry on a clothesline nearby. She's gorgeous and I think I found my signature.

I used it so much when I got and made a huge dent, and now I am kinda bored. However, It is still the perfect light clean/ laundry scent. Very suitable for mornings. I like to wear it in colder weather for some reason.

Perfect clean girl scent! Like the prettiest fruity shampoo and clean laundry. I usually hate laundry type scents, but this is just so pretty! it's light and super inoffensive. my everyday wear and easy reach.

This is my favorite!! What I wanted valaya to be. It’s not synthetic at all and smells exactly like a photorealistic peach and clean linen. Only con is it doesn’t stay very long.
