Cedar

If you are looking for a unique wood scent not found anywhere else, here you go. The oil in Bermuda cedar smells absolutely unique from any other type of cedar. It is a truly rare and beautiful smelling gift to mankind. My father bought me a bottle as a child when we took a cruise to Bermuda as a family. Since then, I have traveled back to this beautiful island seven times, every single time buying a bottle to bring home (along with the rum cakes by the port!). It is hard to find off the island, making it exclusive. You won’t find many others with it or who have put their noses on it. It’s gorgeous.

The first impression was amazing! We hardly find men scents with nuances that are really woody, right in the output. But in here, the Cedar heads a fragrance unlike anything I've ever felt until today (at least as far as I can remember right now). And the mix of lavender, Juniper and Rosemary gives a special touch to the point of making me feel, during the evolution, nuances of anise. The nutmeg is very well dosed as well as the oak. But are the notes of labdanum resin, along with suede, that add a differentiated value to the base of this fragrance. That’s a fine specimen of a masculine, elegant and timeless cologne, for the fans of a good Woody. It projects well during the first hour, getting close to skin over time. And has very good lasting. I could not have chosen better for initiating the reviews of this House.

This is a very clean, woody, fresh scent that is a great alternative to summer-sporty fad fragrances. It starts off with a burst of juniper and lavender and then settles into a wonderful accord of lavender, cedar, vetiver, oak, and musk. I don't perceive any tobacco here, but there's definitely vetiver in the body. Very wearable from summer to fall.

Applies thick woody base that's also bright. Well balanced. Slight drying musk tamps things down. Fresh marine men's dept store chord becomes dominant. Not off-puttingly generic, but familiar...while slightly elevated. Not special enough to hunt out, but a safe option. After awhile, skin's heat radiates gently sweet, cozy spice with powdery edge lending minor formality. Soft tobacco and sun-warmed cedar, herbal Juniper, with dryness of lavender. Competent, but not worth the effort due to limited availability. If it's around, it's good enough, but may be too safe despite being enjoyable. 2ND TRY: Light, spiced wood that leans sweetly floral, with faint musk in the back. Reminds me of classy old wood, but light-medium projection keeps it from being noticed. The sweetness quickly settles into a more dry/wood note, which actually makes me like it less. It’s more bright than heavy, but overall, only ok leaning on bad due to it fading. 1ST TRY: Rich man smell. Like a gentlemen's club. Alluring sweetness upfront with light spices. Pleasant, but not my m.o. Also, too discrete. Disappears and hard to smell after a short while.

This is a very nice scent, for those who likes fresh woody, discrete fragrances, with a hint of fresh spices and little powdery in the base. I tested it on my skin, but i think it must be very beautiful on men. It smells very clean and elegant, I like this characteristics.
