Petals

A friend gave me an old sample pack that she picked up on her trip to Bermuda several years ago. It's really cool and came in a metal tin with all the fragrances this brand makes. I really liked every fragrance I've smelled but this was an instant love. Living more than half the year in Florida, I know how it smells down here when the orange trees and flowers are blooming. The air is intoxicating. This fragrance captured that scent. It's as if they bottled the air. Performance is excellent too. I could smell this scent for hours. Be careful with spraying as this might seem light so it's easy to get carried away and kill everyone around you. I didn't have that issue as this tester is just a dabber, but even with the little amount I used I could smell it easily. The one disappointment I have was when I went on their sales site. The prices for this scent is really high. My friend said their perfumes were nothing near that when she was there and could pick up a bottle at a very reasonable price. Looks like I'll have to go the ebay route and hope I manage to find a reasonably priced bottle or toss out hints to my hubby for a gift. In the meantime I should get a few more wears out of this vial and will have to be satisfied with that.

Man, that honeysuckle hits you hard...and in the most wonderful way. And those orange blossoms? I live in Florida and this is the scent I get when I roll my windows down in May, when the orange trees start blooming. Then follows the beatiful green scent. This is so lovely, strong and flowery.

Petals is a very realistic floral scent, which reminds me so much of the blooming linden trees here in the parks in Germany. Very pretty! The orange blossom is very dominant and uplifting, I also feel the jasmine and ylang-ylang, but not really any fruity notes. It lasts very long, even after 6 hrs I am able to smell the base notes. I'm impressed, a perfect perfume, if you love a natural realistic flower scent, mainly white flowers though!

Symbol of romanticism, the petals of the flowers can exhale a divine perfume. And this creation aims to convey a seductive and natural scent, as if we were carrying a basket full of fresh petals, before they become perfumed sachets, in "pot-pourri" style. It contains notes of night blooming honeysuckle, seringa flower (from the rubber tree), orange blossom, jasmine sambac, clementine and white musk. Since the moment it touches the skin, presents luminous and slightly powdery nuances. The aroma of honeysuckle is very close to that of jasmine, sometimes fruity, sometimes green. In the initial phase, there is an impression that there are notes of lilies in the composition. The evolution is very low, just allowing the fragrance to act linearly, for all the time. For me, everything revolves around the scent of jasmine. On several occasions, reminded me of the scent of Anais Anais (Cacharel), when the heart notes are more present. It's worth making a note: after a while, it seems that it is no longer exhaling, but it is! It projects and lasts very well, but produces a lot of olfactory fatigue. Therefore, be careful not to apply too much and cause a bad impression.

Starts very powdery, flowery and sweet due to ylang-ylang and velvety peach. But later smells with some green notes like sepals do smell and very young green leaves. But as a whole – it’s all about a dance of Orange Blossom, Honeysuckle and Jasmine. For greeny-flowery perfumes lovers.
