Gold Magic

This is by far one of my most favorite perfumes out there! The bottle itself is so simple and elegant. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. As a teenager, I absolutely love this scent. It's more of a younger scent which would apply to their younger fan base. That's probably why I enjoy it so much. It's a very fruity and feminine scent. Lots of people have said that the perfume doesn't last but I've worn it many times and it lasts more than 6 hours for me. People have also said that it smells like laundry detergent but I strongly disagree. It is actually pretty strong and although the sillage does wear down a bit, you can still smell it on your wrists/neck. If you're a mixer or just someone who enjoys fruity scents, I'd recommend this to you, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a mixer.

Not many people have actually given this great perfume a proper review which is sad :( So I'm going to say I love little mix, but this review is totally unbiased and does not reflect my love for the girl group. I actually really like this perfume. So as a lot of people have mentioned this perfume starts with this really harsh lemon smell that is almost detergent like. I personally wouldn't compare it to lemon detergent liquid, but yes it does have a very strong citrus lemon open which I realise not everyone likes and it's an acquired taste. Once Gold Magic sits on the skin for a while, some of the other notes begin to smell more prominent. After about an hour I really get the raspberry, apple and watermelon in the middle notes. During this stage it really smells like raspberry lemonade in my opinion. The dry down is just really musky with a mixture of violet notes. I wouldn't have been able to individually pick the note as violet without reading it, but you can definitely smell something floral with the base musk. This scent is rather short lived unfortunantly lasting about 4 or 5 hours at most. It isn't terrible as there are some celebrity perfumes that dissapear completely after less then half an hour on the skin and even some designer fragrances have worse lasting power then little mix, and these designers happen to be more expensive. The initial blast which is really citrusy I find is rather strong and could get in people's faces, so I'll give the initial silliage a 8/10 and then it does down to a more closer scent on the skin with a projection of about 5 or 6 out of 10. Gotta quickly say I love the glass bottle. It looks so sophisticated and doesn't look cheap at all. I'd expect a glass bottle like this for a high end fragrance not a celebrity perfume. Just a quick mention I find this similar to Circus Fantasy by Britney Spears as both have this strong citrus smell and set down to smell like raspberry lemonade. I personally think this can be worn at any time, others have said they think it's best suited for night, but I have worn this during the day and very much enjoy wearing it whenever and I'm a guy. Again because of the citrus note a guy could easily wear this as it is very citrusy and fresh for the first 2 or so hours and a lot of men's colognes do have citrus notes and do smell fresh. I have to say this is a good job for the first perfume by little mix. There are definitely improvements which have been made in their next perfume Wishmaker which I will eventually get around to reviewing.

It's one of those perfumes that changes on me, the really soft violets dominated when I first brought it, I got tons of people saying it smells gorgeous! I sprayed again a few months later and it's more fruity than before, like a very delicate watermelon with a background of apples.

Lemon disinfectant is one of my worst smells 😫 this doesn't smell like that to me. It's not chemically or bitter at all. smells like smooth sweet tropical pineapple to me, very clean and likeable .

it smells like those lemon wipes you used to get from KFC. it's nice though

I ordered this straight away as a blind buy when it came out here in Australia. However, once I opened the bottle and sprayed it on my skin I was disappointed. The overall smell of the perfume smells like an air freshener rather than a perfume, however remember that this is my opinion. The longevity of the perfume wasn't to great either, overall I wouldn't repurchase. I am a Mixer.

All I can smell is the citrus, which makes me cringe - it's a bit dish detergent-esque. Shame because I love the bottle and hoped for something a little more sophisticated.

I smelt this perfume yesterday and I didn't like it which is sad coz from what the bottle looks like, I was expecting something a little more sophisticated. The bottle and box is nice but it's a shame the scent doesn't match up :(

Wassim - I live in the UK if you look for UK shop Boots online they have it there and deliver international. They have a few other Little Mix things too.

Why are people voting !!!! Fragrantica need to stop people from voting before the scent is released !! totally mucks up how the fragrance looks !
