Wishmaker

I purchased this during a shopping trip to my local drugstore and (most definitely in a good way) it is very different from Gold Magic. A ripe apricot is mixed with sweet toffee, the white florals are there but not overpowering the perfume.

I received half a bottle of Wishmaker in a bundle and to be honest, judging from the cheap, tacky bottle, I didn't have high hopes. I would have thought that a girl band as successful as Little Mix would have put a little more effort into their perfumes... However, I... I weirdly don't dislike this one at all. It definitely gives me Viva La Juicy vibes. Wishmaker isn't a dupe, but perhaps they're distant cousins. The toffee is really quite prominent and the candy notes with the vanilla make this very feminine and sweet. After the initial blast, the apricot and sandalwood adds some much needed depth and warm fruitiness. I do think this is quite a simple, fun/fruity scent that's a little juvenile, however I understand that their demographic is young girls and I think this fits the bill. It's sweet, pleasant and likeable. Will I keep this one? I'm really not sure... I'm not wild about it, but I don't hate it either. Perhaps I'll pass this on to my mother to use as a causal, easy-to-wear daytime scent for work, then I can sneak a spray every now and then.

This is soooo sweet, almost sickly...nothing like their first fragrance...moderate in silage and longevity... there's something about it though...I quite like it.

A very sickly sweet toffee candy fragrance with a dash of apricot and floral. The toffee sweetness is quite overpowering. The lasting power is amazing, two sprays last whole day on me and last longer on fabric as well.

Sweet, fruity and creamy! What’s not to love? I took this on a trip with me to Las Vegas now when ever I sneak and spray it just blasts me back to that whole trip. I have the 100ml and the body mist and whenever I want to remember that trip I just spray this and the happy memories coming flooding back, it was such a fun and carefree trip and that’s what this perfume is. It’s young and carefree, not offensive, nor overpowering, just the right amount of pleasant to make people go ‘oooh you smell lovely. Bottle is a cute just wish the lid wasn’t so cheap and ridiculous looking and the fact it’s marketed to a younger audience might put you off, but I find this to be teens and above.

I bought Gold Magic as a Little Mix fan and although I wore it now and then I wasn't a big fan to be honest. I bought Wishmaker this weekend and for me this is a big step up - it's longer lasting and definately more of a smell I could see their core audience enjoying. I am not a fan of the bottle it looks really cheap and tacky but other than that I really love it and I've had lots of compliments in the last 3 days of wearing it.

This is too artificial for me, it's sweet & nice but that's about it really. The lasting power isn't great either, I got an hour to an hour & a half out of it. The scent itself isn't bad by any means but I ly isn't something I'd buy. There is a new LM fragrance coming soon called 'Wishmaker party edition' maybe that'll be better.
