Curve

This is a perfume I've been curious about not for years, but decades. I've just never tested it or bought it until now. It opens beautifully, but freshly, and utterly youthfully. Not maybe this generation's youth, but as a Millennial, mine. It's cleanly floral, aquatic, with just the right amount of sweetness. A burst of juicy fruits and citruses, it's basically impossible to tell what is what. It's just a blend. It settles into a lovely, nearly violet-y peony. That's weird to say, but it has a gentle powdery quality. Something about it makes me feel hopeful, yet it also smells nearly of naivety. It feels somehow blue, and I find it congruent with the bottle's color. Ultimately, the base is so well blended and soft, it's difficult to know what's happening beside the fact that it's a plushy, clean, sandalwoody pillow of feminine woods. It ties in gorgeously alongside the florals, and feels comforting, yet also substantial. It lasts impressively well for a fresh fragrance. And even hours later, there is a hint of juice even among the powderiness. This makes me think it would be best worn in summer, I suspect it would sing in the heat. This is an example as to how fragrance can significantly ping on your heart...because I smell this and have a nebulous, but meaningful emotion of wistfulness and nostalgia, despite never wearing it myself. It smells like the 90s, and I'm so happy that it does 🥰

I smelled this at a small shop once and was totally enraptured by the smell. I realize now that what I had smelled was basically the note of lily of the valley, which I have recognized now as one of my absolute favourite scents. Yes, this is the womens' Curve and leans somewhat feminine due to the white florals, but I think it can in fact be unisex. I smell a lot of heavy note of lily of the valley mixed with jasmine, along with hints of lemon and lavender and some sort of fruits (I think peach and blackberry). The lily of the valley here is ethereal, mystical, and reminds me of a melancholy lagoon for some reason. It has moderate leaning strong sillage and longevity on my skin. Overall this is an extremely pleasant white floral perfume which I enjoy even though I'm a male. I actually wore this to a movie theatre one time and now it reminds me always of good movies and storytelling. 4.5/5

Curve is just a perfectly lovely, casual and clean perfume, without the prices of larger names on the market. It is cheap, cheerful and possesses both a respectable longevity and sillage. Grapefruit and mandarin take on the tangy top notes, followed closely by blackberry and peony tart loveliness. Soapy notes move in towards the heart in the form of lily of the valley and cyclamen. Wood notes in the base are whispers of melodies, and never aggressively consume the dry down, like others seem to. This is the lighter, airier, younger sister of brassy, yet beautiful Jessica McClintock. So if the latter is too profoundly saturated in florality, Curve will offer a more gentle option.

This was my first perfume. My cousin gave me a small sample bottle when I was eleven years old. I thought it was the most glamorous thing in the world! This perfume will always have a special place in my heart because it was my first and brings back memories of youth. I think this is a wonderful fragrance. On my skin it is fresh floral. It smells like flowers but not overwhelmingly so - there is something fresh about this fragrance. You can wear this anywhere and anytime - to work or school or out at night and it works for all seasons, especially summer.

This was a favorite of mine in the late nineties, when I first started teaching. I purchased it because I thought it would be a great work scent and I was right. It was perfect. Loved it! I may want to revisit it again as I'm thinking about it and don't have anything quite like it in my collection. Also, I'm growing a fondness for musky-florals. I remember this to be one, with some added fruit mixed in subtly.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen it mentioned but this smells a lot like Dior Blooming Bouquet to me. It’s really nice. I blind bought some older fragrances recently that are more fresh and clean and this was my favorite. It’s not available where I live so I’d never tried it. It doesn’t smell dated at all. Really nice and fresh!

Wow this is gorgeous. Opens up with sharp green, stems, leaves and all. Softens into a floral bouquet of delight. Smells fresh, clean and never loses that citrus zing. Wearing this while I'm preparing for Christmas, makes me feel alive and happy. It's Christmas Eve in Oz... Merry Christmas Everyone!!

This was my the first perfume that I used to wear in my younger years. It’s such a beautiful creamy feminine floral. I just bought a bottle at a very affordable price and it’s just as lovely as I remembered. There’s No synthetic sweetness or generic fruitiness going on here .

So similar to Happy, yet I prefer Curve. Happy is sunshine and Curve is fog. Each a mood and cheap retro fun (try it with Guava Snapple®️ and your favorite CD playing on your Sony®️ discmanTM️)

I've been hooked on this since it first came out. it's far from boring! it's a fresh, watery sort of floral without being a headache-inducing "white" floral.

I remember wearing this in the late 90s. I used a whole bottle. Gonna have to go buy one and see if I still like it! I remember it being a night time scent.

my husband (boyfriend then) giftes me this 9 years. ago and until now, i find it so classy. not overpowering and a really clean smell.

I wore Curve to my senior prom guys, lol! I decided to purchase Curve because it was a newer fragrance at the time, and it had a male fragrance counterpart. I wanted my fragrance and my prom date's fragrance to be from the same house--so I purchased Liz Claiborne's Curve for the both of us. To be honest, I thought Curve for Women was just 'ok' at the time; but I loved Curve for Men, which was the newest release of the two. I thought Curve for Men was absolutely fantastic! Fast forward to today, I recently picked up Curve for Women a few months ago. I wanted to try it out again, since it had been many years since it had been a part of my collection. Curve for Women is my scent of the day, and I am loving it! It is floral and fresh. It is also a mood enhancer--I can't stop smelling my wrist. It has great longevity--I sprayed it over 3.5 hours ago and it is still going strong! To my nose it is not a powerhouse, yet--it subtly let's others know that you are present. It other words, it projects well, perfect for my tastes. I can smell Curve for Women all around me! Most of the notes listed above, I can detect very well. Upon first spray through the dry down-- you get the citrus, flowers, and musk, which are the main components of Curve. This fragrance is perfect for most daily activities. Let this be an example for you collectors out there to be open to re-visit those fragrances that you previously did not care for. Things change. Noses change. This is the type of fragrance that I like now, as I have entered my forties. A nice break from the vanillas and cotton candies of today. Curve for Women is for the detail-oriented, confident, and feminine woman of any age. Like many other fragrances from the House of Liz Claiborne, this fragrance does not smell dated, but I do not believe this to be a safe blind buy.

I really appreciate this scent, especially because even with all the citruses, my elderly bottle smells the same as when I bought it. Were you a fan of the backrooms movie? Do you want to smell simultaneously like a freshly fabreezed office cubicle in 1998, a mean cheerleader, an oddly nostalgic and yet unidentified maternal figure (pediatrician?, moms friend at a pampered chef tupperware party circa 2007?, your preschool teachers aide? Well curve is for you. I mean this with love but this is just so “perfume” like a stock photo when you google fragrance. I didn’t know it when I bought it, but I’ve experienced this scent many times. I was born in 2004 in rural Ohio and this was everywhere. I originally wanted it because it was mentioned in a John Green book, I’m pretty sure I used the money I got for getting good grades on my report card to get a mini bottle from Walmart. In the book it was described as blackberry bubblegum. I do understand that because bubblicious gum does have some sour twang to it similar to the punch of citrus you get in the opening of this scent. This perfume to me is really not something I would reach for often, but it is so inexplicably nostalgic to me I have to keep it in my collection. It’s almost bittersweet how optimistic this perfume is, like how everyone misses the 90s and doc martens and real grunge music, and my generation didn’t even get a taste

I think Starlight-Girl's review of this perfume is way off track! Curve smells absolutely nothing like horrible chemicals, baby powder gone bad or soap. Curve Crush smells like baby powder; Curve doesn't even smell remotely like it! Curve is a very nice, light and clean smelling floral. Usually I'm not a big fan of floral scents but I like Curve a lot. It's not a run of the mill, ordinary floral and I think it's much better than more well known ones like Estee Lauder Pleasures (YUCK!!) which tend to be boring, bland and far more generic smelling. The main note in Curve which I detect is lily-of-the-valley which I really like. It's a great perfume for everyday wear and men seem to really love it, probably because it's light and very feminine. The other plus points are that it's very reasonably priced and has great staying power so all in all it's a really great scent.

Im not sure if i got a vintage bottle, but wow!! I really enjoyed this perfume, as well as the glittery body lotion. To me, this frag is the teen sister to Pleasures by Estee Lauder. I really did enjoy it more in the dry down since it was powdery. However i didn't pick up any citrus notes, BUT WOW!!! The heavy-ness of the the florals, carries the scent until it dies down about 2 - 3 hours later. Not the longest life on skin, but it does smell good the next day on your clothes. :) Also this is strictly a summer frag for me. Not only because I can freely over apply it, since its an EDT, but also the price point is quite fitting. And I also have an addiction to the tin packaging. Used between May and July of 2024.

Somehow I came into possession of a tiny bottle of the perfume version of this fragrance in my collection. I'm not sure how that happened, but I really love it. So, I ordered a larger bottle of the toilette. It's just a lovely, feel-good, fruity/floral fragrance that makes me feel pretty. My best friend wore this in the 1990's, and she died a few months ago. We had been best friends since we were both 12 years old. She was only 43 when she died. When I wear this, a little bit of her is alive again, and we're both still teenagers. I wear this when I want to seem young, lighthearted and agreeable, and when I want to remember my dear friend Autumn.

A fresh/citrus-fruity/slightly woody/musky floral that is great for summer when you're running around getting sweaty doing errands and chores, or the middle of winter when you're stuck home in a blizzard wishing you were on vacation somewhere. Reminds me a lot of Elizabeth Arden's Pretty, only Curve is somewhat "jammier" due to the berry, which Pretty lacks. Very light to begin with so not pronounced at all at drydown. Projection is light, doesn't leave much of a trail at all. Kind of a pick me up feel good fragrance, very comfortable to wear, but I want to use a lot of it as it's so light.

Decided to go down on memory lane and give this review. I remember this fragrance. Haven't used this one since I was a kid. My parents used Curve as well. It's been so long that I can vaguely remember what the scent smell like, but I'll say that it's definitely something you could wear in the daytime or to casual outings. The color and design of the bottle make me think of spring and summer. I had also used the purple Curve before. Funny how people are saying in their reviews that Curve smells like Estee Lauder's Pleasures. That was another fragrance I had also used as a kid. haha.
