Lucky You

I like to think of this as Mugler Cologne for a younger audience, although it's not as soapy nor as bitter but rather sweeter and more floral. I went through 2 bottles of this in my teens and for good reason. It just works! No other fragrance I've tried truly captures the complexity of Spring like Lucky You. Call me crazy! The floral opening, with the cotton flower and melilotus herb, blends so nicely with the woody notes in the heart and base. I also get a hint of vetiver throughout the life of the fragrance as well. Longevity is about 4-6 hours and it's projection is moderate. The best part is that a 3.4 oz can be had for under $20 and the shower gel and lotion can be had for a few extra bucks give or take. Either way, it's a wonderful cheapie that's great for the summer and spring months. Now, imagine yourself in a giant field out in the countryside in the middle of spring. The air is not at all humid. It's just a cool, breezy day, partly coudly, and everything around you seems alive. The field is full of dark green grass with flowers scattered about as they sway in the breeze. You're sitting under the shade of a giant oak tree just admiring nature in all it's beauty and wonder. You close your eyes and nature's aroma puts you at peace. That's what Lucky You is for me. I love this stuff!

This is the coldest, freshest fragrance I've ever smelled. I'm not claiming that a 30 dollar fragrance is one of the best on the market, but it's definitely the freshest. Definitely leaning towards unisex, but it's a distinguishably masculine smell due to the very soft sandalwood bass note. The musk is extremely light, but the floral and fresh notes really project, and they will continue to project throughout its dry. It's a eau de toilette, so it has a higher concentration of alcohol, which actually projects like a note. The alcohol is key in the freshness and coldness of this fragrance. The downside of it being a EDT is it doesn't last long, but I think that's okay with this fragrance. It will last around 4-5 hours solid, and the projection is not discordant. It's very consistent, smells the same from the minute it's sprayed to its dry drown. Super youthful, very good for price. I'd argue bamboo is the strongest top note of this fragrance.

An Amazing scent that is terrible fresh out the sprayer, but it turns in to one on the best smells created. This scent was the 1st "real" cologne I had. I bought it in High School for $70.00 at the Buckle. Very Nostalgic for me, reminds me of partying with friends and makes me feel like in in a 12 year time warp back to 2002-2003 hustling for beer and bud. Mowing lawns and helping people just to get our buzzes on. Simple, but great times.

Simply Good. Wore this scent for over a decade. Clean, fresh and green with a touch of wood.

Clean linen, clover, and cotton with a fresh cut summer grass note but a lot of alcohol on the intial spray. Inoffensive but if oversprayed it's pretty bad and will burn your sinuses. This was a staple among teens in the early 2000s and still smells relatively the same just weaker and a bit more cheap. I remember in high school everyone from preps and jocks to numetal kids and skaters wearing this. The marketing was aimed at the rebellious crowd with vintage images of 50s rockers and greasers, one of the more memorable being the Jamie Pressley diner one. If you wore it you were surely going to get lucky was basically their strategy.

I'm really a sucker for Claiborne cheapies and this is no exception. It's green, fresh, slightly soapy, and sweet at the same time. It has a youthful vibe about it but I still think nearly any age can wear this. Seasonally it's super versatile and can be worn during the day pretty much all year although there are probably better offerings for hot/cold temp extremes. Not every fragrance has to be a nuanced and complex masterpiece. This is just a simple, albeit synthetic, clean casual/business casual cologne. Projection is moderate at best but the longevity is solid for an EDC. 7.5/10

Just bought this for my boyfriend and it almost has a pine tree scent to it. It's a very "green" scent. Smells very clean and fresh. Great price too, you can get it at wal-mart for $12. Would recommend as a "safe" cologne purchase for someone looking to smell good and masculine.

The open is a harsh attempt at being fresh but comes off as very synthetic. Fortunately the dry down is very pleasant. I enjoy wearing this fragrance when nothing notable is going on but I just want to smell "nice." At its price point it is definitely worth picking up.

Was hoping as I read, an Irish Spring soap fragrance, which I thought would be killer but at first sniff & applied after shower I know what this imitates...CK Eternity for men. Not bad but disappointed since I already have CK Eternity.

It's a lovely scent on others. It doesn't work well on me. However it is worth trying.

Smells of an herbaceous Gin and Tonic. Thats the best I can do for this one. Its not my first reach or even my fifth but its in my rotation.

Very light, with a synthetic and sweet grassy wood smell with a little musk. unpretentious casual cologne for high school,college, or just hanging out with friends and maybe even office wear. does anyone else notice fragrantica posted this cologne twice for some reason? ALSO this may of been Liz Claiborne at some point, but the bottom of the bottle says EA(Elizabeth Arden) now. EDIT: while this appears to smell light and fresh at first...scent lasts only a couple of hours and MAY make you as while as other sneeze around you...VERY SYNTHETIC drydown wow. Maybe ive just outgrown these tween colognes?

I need to first mention curve. Curve smells like an autumn day. This cologne smells like curve, but for the spring time instead of autumn. It smells like a spring day. A clean smell, and also a green smell. This could be worn casually or it can be worn dressed up. It can be worn on a spring or summer date night tbh. Honestly might even fit going swimming because the green and freshness in this would pair with a chlorine smell or fresh water and nature smell very nicely. So fits all occasions for spring and summer, but, concerning its smell, it smells like spring time. This or nautica are what I think of when I think of fresh smelling colognes. Idk how long it lasts. I have an empty bottle from when I was a kid in my bathroom that still has the smell coming out of it which was like 17 years ago lol. It smells good. Definitely safe to blind buy. It is not outdated. To me it is a timeless smell. It takes you back but the smell doesn’t feel old. Honestly might be my signature scent in the spring

Excellent teenager fragrance on the cheap. This is green,fresh, clean, and musky. I get 4 to 6 hours, but other people can smell the musk another 2 hours, so 8 hours longevity. This is cheap and synthetic, but many people love synthetics in the air and many top sellers like Dior sauvage are heavily synthetic. Another cheap teenager fragrance is Nautica Voyage or ed hardy love and luck. I would recommend this as a casual, easy reach for a skin scent as well.

Does anyone know why there are two brands with the same perfume? I have one from Lucky Brand and I just found out that there is an identical one from Liz Claiborne
