Vitória Régia Flor do Dia

uplifting.. vibrant ..exotic.. floraly.. citrucy.. zesty ..almost sweet.. tart.. dry.. simple.. yet intrinsic..fresh mellow yet pungent..soft.. yet alive.. full.. yet airy.. crispy.. clean ..full of love ..life.. and happiness.. almost green.. almost fruity.. almost floraly.. woodsy.. ..simply gorgeous.. for hot weather ..very cooling.. aromatic.. herbal in the slightest ways.. almost having an astringent quality ..that makes it sq week.. bubbly.. boozy fragrant body water.. you can apply it directly to your body.. for a refreshing after shower scent,atleast thats what the sales lady said..i like their attitude they never push their products.. and let you sample freely.. and this makes me return to them ..i just wish their perfumes lasted longer.. but its very difficult for such light citrucy cloudy.. airy ..compositions to last more than an hour or 2 if you are lucky.. on me its just 40 min tops ..and reapply but the smells are almost heavenly.. so light ..so dreamy clean ..sweet.. not cloying ..dry.. misty.. fabulous.. you just want to keep smelling yourself.. or scarf ..just for a lifting sensation.. a beautiful whiff of clean air ..it almost takes you to grass to Provence.. to the fields of those accords..it still smells some what natural.. even though there is so much synthesis taking place but decent synthesis impo the perfume is not vulgar.. its feminine ..in a girly.. hip way.. care free ..and confident,smart and elegant,tall and rustic ..so it has so many multidimensional facets ..many interesting twists and turns.. i think this can be one of those perfumes that you can use as an anti depressant or anti naucious lift me up kind off perfume for its so lemony verbena hmm accords that just blast out vibrancy and warmth and true spirit of Provence.. by the way this review is coming from someone who doesn't take their white florals easily and this to me is florally but in a non cloying light heavenly artistic way

L'occitane continues to impress me with their perception of nature's beauty. In this fragrance, they created yet another beautiful creation. Vitoria Regia Flor do Dia ( I honestly don't know how to read it) is so green and aquatic in its floral tendency. It's like a fresh splash of water from an isolated spring in the middle of a forest. It has that cooling effect from smelling such gorgeous fragrance. Well done.

i got one of their tiny hand cream tubes in this scent and it is amazing. so rich, and lovely, and i can't stop sniffing my hands when i use it. i've been using it more like a solid perfume than hand cream because i don't want to waste it. so, as a splurge, i bought the gigantic 10oz bottle of the spray. and it STINKS. the spray smells nothing like the hand cream. the spray is very, very light - something ideal for the persons who spray everything 4-6 times. it does have pretty good staying power on fabrics, though. i could still smell it on the shirt i was wearing when tried it.... two days later while i was gathering laundry. the smell reminds me of a GAP perfume someone gave me when i was in college, back in the mid 90s. Heaven? Sky? Grass? something like that, one of those. like a slightly greener, slightly more feminine CK One. and, i repeat, nothing like the classy and elegant scent of the hand cream.

It smells like...nothing? Extremely light. Kind of pleasant but it's barely there. It smells just like wet facial wipes, I forgot which brand (maybe Nivea or J&J). It's okay I guess. Disappears after 30 minutes. It smells like I've wiped myself with wet wipes. I got it as a gift. I would kill myself if I had wasted my money on something this pointless. But I'll use it up. I'll reserve it for the gym, or for super hot days, or sick days when I can't stand perfume. If I need cologne, I'd stick to baby cologne next time, way cheaper and atleast you can smell it.
