Framboise & Thé Vert Matcha

Am an avid fan of l’occitane fragrances as they are relatively light and fresh and I live in a warm climate. Went to store to check this one out and bought it instantly, I guess due to its somewhat unusual notes. Also to note that my skin is warm and oily type and a lot of perfumes perform differently due to my skin chemistry. On my skin, at the outset I get a burst of raspberries and few seconds later, Bergamot, one of my favorite notes and its a very nice and soft bergamot note. Few minutes later I can smell green leaves. Longevity is about 8-10 hours on me, low sillage (which is what I prefer, I work in a hospital and wear it on skin before putting on clothes and avoid putting perfume on clothes so that I smell good to myself and to people standing close to me) All in all I give it a 8/10 Uniqueness 9/10 Longevity 8/10 Sillage 6/10

So sad that these won't be made anymore. This is what Replica Matcha Meditation should have been. This is ACTUALLY matcha. The raspberry here is very minimal, just enough to keep the matcha from growing bitter. It is not going overpower anyone (as the reviewer below stated), but your friends and partner will smell it. It's fresh, uplifting and gentle without being boring. I highly recommend for anyone that would like a more interesting, tea forward "just out of the shower" perfume. Unisex.

Framboise & The Vert Matcha, by L'Occitane en Provence, opens up smelling like a koicha matcha with raspberry syrup. In less then 5 minutes, it dries down, the matcha and the raspberry scent both disappear. All you’re left with is a faint earthy scent of tea leaves, lovage and cardboard, a scent that also doesn’t last. Longevity is non-existent. It’s such a shame. Considering the 200€ price, this is a joke. The opening scent is so nice, interesting and, so far, unique, it’s such a waste.

Super interesting. I love that it's actually Matcha and not sweetened iced tea. It's not going to make people run down the street and ask you what you're wearing because it's very subtle and some people might not like it, but it's one of the most interesting scents - it's not like any other I've waffed. Wearing this makes me FEEL interesting like I have some secret that no one else knows, so I'll probably keep it.

After 5 minutes it's gone. I wouldn't consider this more than a eau de cologne, not even eau de toilette! What a waste of money! Weak, generic and pricey. How can l'Occitane sell this for 200 bucks?
