Ortie Blanche Eau de Parfum

What a lovely surprise! I have been looking for a green aromatic rose for the summer, and this is one of my favorites yet! Ortie Blanche opens very fresh and green. As it dries down, the rose note becomes stronger and the fragrance takes on a gentle sweetness, while keeping it's aromatic edge. In the far drydown, the bergamot becomes more apparent. In spite of the overall light and fresh feel, longevity and projection are surprisingly good. It leans gently feminine but really not by much. On a hot day this fragrance feels absolutely wonderful!

I don’t know what nettle smells like, but I suppose it’s like this and it is divine! I love how fresh this one is. I swear I smell an elusive juniper berries note in this. I’m surprised there’s none in the listed notes.

This was a surprise! To me, I smell a tangy rhubarb (or the idea of it), green leaves, and young rose. The only edp in the line with great longevity 😍 I need a full bottle!

Love it! Lighter version of Creed Wild Vetiver. Very nice!

I skin tested this today and it’s really nice! I generally don’t like rose-forward fragrances like Chloe and Delina and the like but this is a young dewy rose, petals, leaves, and stem, with fresh greenness from the nettle and delicate sweetness from the bramble and bergamot. A great warm weather scent and impressive longevity if you apply liberally. I could still smell this on me as a skin scent after around 8 hours from 6 sprays. I’m not sure if I’d buy a full bottle but I’d be happy to get this as a gift.

The nettle in this is divine, but I would love it to be somehow even more prominent, emphasised, greener, more grassy and mossy. It quickly is encapsulated by the sweetness of the rose, and then the whole story fades away too abruptly. The base bergamot becomes a skin scent to me, and there's nothing more left than a memory of a perfume which promided me fresh summery meadows. For this performance, the price doesn't convince me, unfortunately.

The opening smells identical to Diptyque's Lazulio. After about 1 hour, it turns into a more generic perfume-y scent.
