Aire Allegro

It starts with this beautiful shot of fresh lavender and citrus which is super addictive without being sterile. Then just when I think it might be too floral, something in the composition turns the scent a little richer, dirtier, and juicier. The fig lavender cedar combo is invigorating. This is one that can't be put into a box. A rich aromatic. Do try this, I'm loving it!

This isn't a bad fragrance, but it was ultimately unsatisfying for me because I was expecting to smell bergamot and black tea (instead of green for a change) and got a dominant lavender instead. I thought I would smell lavender in Allegro, but I thought it would be swirled together with the aromatics, rose, and perhaps a little fig like a cool-toned Lady Grey tea embellished slightly with Loewe's Spanish sensibilities. All I got was lavender. Concentrating and sniffing very deeply, I can detect the sheerest bergamot and an even thinner rose. But what radiates from the skin is lavender with the barest amount of underlying bergamot. I think. It's so barely suggested, it could be subliminal. Strangely, when I got to the middle of my miniature fig took over the scent for one wearing. I don't recall getting beramot, tea, cedar, pepper or any other shy notes. Fig lead the dance with lavender following. After that one wearing, lavender reclaimed the lead and Allegro was once again dominated by that flower with only the miniscule presence of bergamot and a brief appearance by rose. This would've been a "like" for me if I had only gotten some tea from this. I love the color of the packaging and flaçon and I adore the name. I'm a classically trained musician and "Allegro" is term that indicates the tempo in a piece of music. I wore this to a few performances and practices hoping one of the flutists would ask me what I was wearing, but none of them did. Lol.

This is a gorgeous and very Spanish smelling fragrance due to the fig and rose combination. Loewe is not very well known in the US and it is really quite a shame!
