It's a strange one - Loewe's Earth. On first spritz, I smell the sharpness of an unripe pear, the sweetness of the violet and mimosa...but truffle? Oh goodness, this is loud and gives what would otherwise be a lovely wild floral a very funky undertow. Like someone singing off-key in a chorus line. As it develops, it doesn't get any better. I don't mind earthy notes (in fact, I celebrate them!), but this truffle just isn't playing ball with the rest of the scent profile. It's very dominant - stale and animalic - like a fox took a pee in a bed of wildflowers about a week ago.... Then again, on complete dry-down, those truffle accords settle onto the skin. Gone is the uric acid, and in its place I get a pleasant, faintly woody smell with a trace of violets after rain. As with other perfumes, I wonder whether it is worth struggling through its "difficult phase" to reach that pleasant skin scent. Update: You know, I thought about this one for a while and decided to give it another shot, and would you know it? I liked it. I mean, I REALLY liked it. Enough to seek out a gently used bottle from another enthusiast, and I don't know what it is - perhaps it has had time to "masticate" as I think they call it, but I'm quite enchanted! The opening notes I'm still not a fan of. It's aldehydic, almost ozonic and sparkly - like sea spray in a wind - but gone are the funky mushroom vibes and staleness of it all. In fact, it's probably the truffle that gives it its earthy undertones, but it is perhaps not as strong as other "earthy" fragrances, which is what throws me somewhat. I get maybe a hint of violet at the top end, but its not sweet or strong. Or even floral. The dry down is like wet grass and wet wood and I rather like that. The sillage is excellent. I move my hands a lot, and every now and then I get a waft of it running over my nasal passages, and it feels soothing. The skin scent is very good. And yes, now that it's had time to settle in its open bottle, I'm really enjoying it.

This fragrance was an unexpected gem! I was planning on buying Loewe Aqua Eau de Toilette. While in Neiman Marcus I sampled many of the other Loewe fragrances that I thought I might like based on the notes. The sales rep told me to try Earth. Just the name turned me off. She insisted it was unique and not to judge it by the name. I gave it a sniff and loved the opening immediately. I couldn’t get enough! I narrowed down all the fragrances to Earth and Aqua. I sprayed one on each arm and walked around the mall and store for 30 mins. When I returned to the counter I smelled each arm. The Aqua was barely noticeable, but Earth had transformed into another unexpected gorgeous scent. I couldn’t stop smelling my arm! I was sold and left with the 3.4oz bottle. Since then I can’t stop spraying it. Walking out the door every AM, a pick-me-up midday. Even before bed (something I never do) just to enjoy the scent while falling asleep. I’m dumbfounded by how much I love this fragrance! It’s so unique, complex, addictive. Do not judge this (or any Loewe) fragrances by the listed notes. Go try it yourself in person! Loewe Earth edp may be my new signature scent! I’ll be placing an order for Loewe Earth Elixir next, to see how the more intense version compares. Well done Loewe! A beautiful and unique scent, far from any of the generic dime-a-dozen scents out there now.

I smelled this perfume on a paper half th year ago and somehow I found it quite unique for myself. So, even after a while I was thinking about this perfume. I just got my tester today and I have been spraying on on myself all day. So, many people blame that there is no highlights of truffles, but actually I think it’s good. If you want truffles, go to elixir version ( which feels more masculine that this one). I can smell mimosa and violet that makes a nice doett. Truffle comes later. I find it extremely pleasant smell (exactly what I have been looking for) and it is perfect for everyday use. Silllage is good too). I don’t have any similar scents in my collection right now, so the 50 ml is already on the way to me, can’t wait to get it. 10/10 ! An update: I keep using it everyday, the only thing that concerns me sometimes is quite masculine drydown. Anyways, despite the fact that I am discovering more niche perfumes, I keep going back to this perfume. P.s I ordered a sample first, then I saw nice price for the perfume and bought it too. Firstly, I tested the sample and it was horrible, didn’t smell like the perfume. I was disappointed, but the perfume smells so much better and nicer. If I would tested only the sample I would never even thought of buying the whole bottle.

I think this is the most yellow fragrance I ever tried, a yellow gradient from light to dark. The opening is light, citrusy and carefree, turns into a bright flowery lemon yellow, and then gets more powdery, like a deeper mustard color that reminds me of the robes monks wear. In the end it settles into a comforting brown, a safe earthy powdery warm scent. There's something there that smells a bit like autumn leaves too, in a very beautiful subtle way. I never had a fragrance that smelled like autumn leaves before, and I had no idea how much I wanted one. I personally adore it, it's one of those fragrances that feel really like proper art

This is a strange one but in a good way In the opening it basically smells like money. like if you take actual cash right out of the ATM and spray Calvin klein downtown (just one spray) on that cash downtown has a similar opening to this with the pear and plum mixture but it also has a creamy smooth gardenia while Earth by Loewe doesn’t I can’t say that i smell a specific floral it smells like a non descript powdery floral to me, its also slightly fresh and sweet, they both have similar smoothness if it makes sense After 4-5 hours the cash smell fades away and i’m left with a very similar drydown to downtown

Oh, this is magical. The longer I smell it, the more magical it becomes. At first, you smell something clean and floral, violets. A dewy morning, then the sun rises. Everything glows gold and pink over the wheat fields. You sit by the pear trees in your long dress, letting the day begin. A soft, lovely fragrance, understatedly stylish yet sublime. If Miracle by Lancôme and Radiant Mirage by Estée Lauder had a baby, this would be it. I love it. Office-appropriate and memorable. Also, they forgot a word in the name of this perfume. It should have been called: MOTHER Earth. It's a loving embrace.

Truly smells like a rainy autumn day, but the romantic kind. At first, it leans masculine, but as it dries, the pear note comes through more strongly. It’s a unisex fragrance after all, but I think it smells especially sophisticated on a woman. As a fan of pear notes, I find this perfect for rainy or colder days when I want something a bit more serious and long-lasting.

I love it, it doesn't smell earthy. It's really elegant and a little sweet. The addition of truffles makes it addictive, I can also smell mimosa and violet. It is overall very unique. Also you all who listed Hermes fragrances as being similar, I smelled them! Are you joking? No similarity whatsoever! Who the hell is voting for them???

The more I try from this house, the more impressed I am. If someone took the odour of a pig scavenging the ground for truffles and encapsulated it in a fragrance, this would be it. The truffles really give it an earthy, raw undertone but it is perfectly balanced by the flowers and resins. Another masterpiece by Loewe.

I LOVE this. It’s bright, warm, sweet, elegant and intimate. The kind of fragrance I see myself wearing to work. Truly unisex, I would say. Floral with an earthy ground to it. You can smell the mimosa and the pear from the beginning. For me it’s very unexpected, worth giving it a smell!!

Man, this is amazing. It's very masculine on my skin, this is just fruity and fresh and it's delicious and addictive, it's not really very earthy but it's amazing nonetheless.

I love it, it’s one of my favorites. The smell reminds me of pink lemonade.

Earth Loewe (100 ml., 70 usd, 95 ml. left). I blind brought this one as I found in good price, and it is Mimosa. I am during my Mimosa era now, so I really want to venture. For me Earth by Loewe take route to Aquatic Powdery Mimosa. In this it really doesn't smell really Sunshine-bright quality with I do assosiate. But it is more like a Beachy Summer vibe kind of scent, even it is not carefree. As It dry down, I perceive something reminds me of mossy / earthy feeling. It kind of "Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte" mix with "Amyris Femme" But cut-out the fruity, jasmine and reduce amount of chemical base. It is skinscent / linear scent, actually. This is really evoke some kind of MFK material they love to use. I do notice this certain tone in Amyris Femme Extrait & Colonge Forte Aqua Celstia. Not my kind of Mimosa I am looking for but it is beautiful nontherest. Loewe Earth is quite somewhat good offering, and I can definitely see myself reaching time to time. (And hey, actually Mimosa fragrance is actually hard to find, even the mediocre one).

Earth is like crystallisinf in snow the breath of soil after pour—pear rising first, translucent yet ripened, its crispness tinged with the shadow of something riper, softer, golden. A pear still clinging to the branch, warmed by the sun but kissed by damp roots. Juicy but not lush. A fruit with space around it. Mimosa drifts in, but this is not your ordinary plush, honeyed kind. No, this is airier, paler, almost powder-dry—its floralcy stretched out, diffused into something weightless. Aldehydes, perhaps, giving lift? There’s a subtle mineral whisper, like petrichor curling through the stems, grounding the composition in something that isn’t green. Truffles? Okay, but not exactly. More like the scent of earth turned over, cool, breathing. The balance is definitely delicate—and Loewe makes it work. A study in weightlessness despite its name. It doesn’t sink, doesn’t smolder—it lingers in the in-between, tethered but floating.

I wonder- if people didn`t look at these highly questionable notes, would they be able to spot them at all. Blind smell without the description putting words in my mouth: Aquatic, mild citrus, vetiver. Pear? Ehm...is that faint fruity haze a pear? Ok....You should really check out Montale Wild Pears if you have never smelled a good pear. I don`t know why it`s called Earth, or why its color is not aquatic blue or citrus orange. It does remind of Eau de Merveilles by Hermes. It`s a fresh floral aquatic, crowd-pleasing, medium sweetness, with A/some fruity vibe (unidentified fruit that is), not super generic, well-layered, although with questionable notes. Fresh, pleasant. But mimosa? Pear?...Earth? Where..? I am a fan of Loewe and the result here is Good, but the description is more than strange. You could easily call this Summer breeze or Morning rain and it would be clear why.

I received Earth as a free 1.5ml sample among some other purchases I made from Loewe. On my skin, immediately I smell violet with an undercurrent of truffle/mushroom. I wasn't too sure about it on initial spray, but left to mellow a few minutes on my skin the scents had blended beautifully and the pear starts to come through. Love how the earthy truffle stops it from becoming too sweet and gives it an edge. Comfy but niche and modern at the same time and is a great day scent suitable for men or women. However.... I don't know if it's just an old, weak sample but it's pretty much a skin scent for me. I asked my husband if he could tell I was wearing any perfume and he couldn't, until I placed my wrist right under his nose. I do really like it though, so much so that I'm tempted to get the 50ml bottle of the Earth Elixir, as I've read it's more concentrated.

It starts very fresh fruity sweet , later it turns more masculine and iam getting a strong grapefruit . In some way it reminds me of Q by Dolce and Gabbana although here there are no cherries . I have it on now for about 5 hours ! I sprayed only one time on my wrist ! I would wear this most probably spring or summer . I am still deciding if I like it a lot or if it’s just ok

I don’t know what I was expecting from this tester but I really like it! It feels almost velvety in texture - floral but not too floral, sweet but not quite. It lasts a decent few hours and it’s surprisingly noticeable on me. It’s not my typical scent profile but I’m glad to have the sample to try!

The pear and violet is very prominent here. I’d say this is truly unisex and it is perfect for daytime wear. The sillage and longevity are outstanding. Overall, this is a very pleasant scent from Loewe!

Extremely light and intimate scent! Very powdery and ozonic, beautifully crafted fragrance!
