El 8 de Gran Vía

I just discover this collection in my Trip to Spain, and let me say some of the fragrances are not special, but they have some gems hidden in this "UN Paseo por Madrid Collection". One of them is this "El 8 de la Gran Via" name like this because the Loewe flagship its in that address. I give it a few tries to know how it goes and let me see the first thing the people say its "You smell so great, what perfume is?" and especially with the men in the office that doesn't want to smell like now days best seller fragrances. the fragrance starts with with the floral notes very similar to the "Uomo Absoluto" from Ermenegildo Zegna mixed with a clean Vetiver that make it more elegant and not so harsh like old vetivers, it does remind me the hot nights with that fresh breeze in the city, making that combination of Vetiver and floral notes. After one hour the rose starts to show a little hint of it making it very unisex and attractive. The pepper its in all the fragrance and its something lovely. It last 12+ I finish my days and it still there but softly. If you can get it go on with this hit.

It arrived on a hot July day as a blind buy. Definitely a fresh, unisex fragrance. It is neither feminine nor masculine. It just smells good when the weather encourages you to not. If you focus really hard, you might be able to detect specific notes but the blending of the notes, I don't think that is what is intended for the wearer to do. So what does it smell like? I can't compare it to anything I've ever experienced so I am going to go wide with my analogy. Like lemon lime soda with complicated undertones that richens it up, but doesn't (on me) pull woody, or floral. Think of it like cooking a complicated dish that you blended that all of the ingredients, they simmered into a flavor dance to pull out a whole new experience/flavor/smell with its combination. But very light and easy. On the dry down there may be an ever so faint hint of Byredo Young Rose that you can detect as a base not but is is not the star of the show. Who this is for, is if you want to smell like you but better. What a great summer perfume for anyone.
