Lempicka Homme

The fact that people are voting that this reminds them of Joop Homme is concerning! How? Just because it's a sweet fragrance doesn't mean they're alike in any other way. Onto the fragrance itself, I was thrilled to hear that this was being re-released. I love the original, both the bottle with the inbuilt sprayer and the bottle with a cap (though the inbuilt sprayer version is better). I have a few backup bottles of the original but was still intrigued as to how this would smell so I ended up buying a bottle. I have reviewed this fragrance on how it stacks up against the original. From the first spray, the trademark licorice/anise combo is present, prominent and smells the same as the original. The almond and vanilla are subdued and less prominent than in the original. There are also subtle differences in the background of the scent which can be attributed to the addition of rose and removal of other notes. The scent is also very linear as it dries down. Though there are subtle differences in notes, the scent is more or less very similar to the original. With regards to performance, Lempicka Homme performs worse than the original. The original had good projection with excellent longevity. With Lempicka Homme, I get good projection for about 30 mins then it's a skin scent. Longevity isn't too bad, I can still smell it about 4 hours later on my skin. The original is again the superior. Though there are minor differences in scent and performance, Lempicka Homme is a good alternative to the original if one can't get their hands on it. I still prefer the original Au Masculin with inbuilt sprayer however I am happy there is something else around for when I exhaust my supply of the original. Rating Sillage: 5.8/10 Longevity: 6.9/10 Scent: 9/10 Edit: No more 'this perfume reminds me of' Joop!

I have the original Au Masculin and managed to pick up a 50ml bottle of Lempicka Homme from eBay for £7.85 inc postage which is an absolute steal. I agree with the comment below, it does definitely seem to be a bit sweeter. On me, I have to say this actually seems to perform better than the original. Maybe I'm lucky (judging by the comments here). The projection is at least as good as the original. It's certainly not a beastly performer, but it'll get you noticed, if that's your thing. I honestly wouldn't go to the effort of finding an original bottle, especially if you've never tried Au Masculin before. I have to say though, the presentation on these new bottles is not as cool as the original...but it's the juice inside that counts most! EDIT: On a side-by-side comparison with the original vs this newer version, if you dig your nose into both then the newer version does actually come off as a TINY bit lighter. Though I strongly disagree with the folks below saying this doesn't compare (or compete) with the original. The differences are really only there if you dig your nose into them and you wearing both at the same time. You would all believe me if I told you I was wearing the OG even if I was actually wearing the new version. EDIT 2: So it's now at the end of the day - about 7 - 8 hours after application and Au Masculin has all but completely gone, and Lempicka Homme is still there. It's fading, but it's still there. So longevity is better on the newer version, at least on my skin.

Disclaimer here that I'm a big fan of anise and licorice, so I'm biased. But... Man, I like this. I'm usually not a violet person at ALL, but this is genuinely a good time. It's quite sweet, almost too feminine for me honestly (which is funny that it's marketed to men, as it's literally got sugar and almonds and such in it), but the wormwood and other aromatics balance it out. Silage is good, and it's not suffocating like others say. Two sprays and you're golden. Don't overdo it. It does feel like Le Male, like others have said, but with a whimsicality and uniqueness that JPG lacks. I'll say it. I've smelled these as decants back to back and I genuinely like Lempicka more. I bought the full size of this for a great price, and I'll be wearing it quite a bit before it gets too warm. This feels like I'm a fantasy character walking through wintery woods make of licorice and gumdrops with an aurora overhead. Whimsical as hell. It's fun and so affordable. Could it be more masculine and have some more ass behind it? Not to me, but I guess I can see why others would say that. I like it, I don't care what others think. It was well worth the money.

This is a lovely scent, and an easy reach any time or season. Unique enough to be signature scent worthy, but still tame enough to be a true crowd pleaser. Unfortunately I have not sampled the OG to compare this one to, so my opinion on this fragrance exists in a vacuum. The performance is really the only let down here. Low sillage (which isn't inherently a bad thing) coupled with low longevity (I get 3-4 hours of performance at best). However, if you consider that this fragrance is available for $40 on Amazon for a 100ml bottle, I think you're more than getting your money's worth here. This is also a fantastic tool for layering, and I find that it pairs incredibly well with Dareej Pour Homme by Rasasi, another cheapie at $30/100ml. This has a tiny lean towards the masculine, but could easily be pulled off by anyone, man or woman. The licorice and anise are present, but not overpowering. I believe the vanilla helps smooth out the rough edges there. The fragrance leans sweet, but is far from cloying. Easy blind buy for anyone.

This smells roughly in the same vain as Le Male, but instead of lavender and vanilla, you get anis and vanilla. This might sound like its a bit unoriginal and redundant, but I cannot stress enouph what a masterfull change this brings to the dna. Anis truely plays the same role the lavender does in Le Male, but in a much more gourmand way. Its like taking what Le Male did to fougeres (making it modern and sweet), and taking it another step into gourmand territory. Its also extremely versatile. A gourmand that can be worn in summer. This is delicious. This scent (which is a reformulation of the now discontinued Au Masculin) was decades ahead of its time, probably even now. I'm strongly surprised this was not more influential than it was. If there is something negative I could say about this, it would probably be performance is rather mediocre. Still, its not horrible either. I highly recommend this, unless you dislike anis. (Go sniff a Ricard bottle if you want to know what Anis smells like.)

Oh God, I was scared to try this after reading so many disappointed reviews and people calling it the male version of LL Mon Premier Parfum (which I do believe smells rather medicinal and nauseating) buuuut this is BEAUTIFUL. I understand why people compare it to JPG Le Male: just like it, the sweetness of the vanilla base is immediately apparent, with the herbal and spicy notes sitting on top. However, unlike Mon Premier, they're not overwhelming, they are softer and invite you to indulge in them. The bottle is gorgeous and heavy. It feels more expensive than it actually is — same can be said about the juice, too! The only con: even though I just sprayed it 30 minutes ago, I can feel it's not very long-lasting or potent... so you'd have to re-apply through the day, and maybe on clothes and hair. EDIT: The guy I got this for, who is clueless about perfumery, smelled this and asked if this is a Le Male dupe (which is his signature). lol

the reviews are ridiculously mixed so to start: if you enjoy le male, CH men, bleu de chanel, versace eros, or A*Men, then this will make a happy edition to your collection . you kinda have to like barbershop scents to get with this this is bearable in hotter weather, more focused on the top and middle notes plus vanilla . the accords i mainly pick up are powdery, musky, spicy-sweet, woodsy . ivy here is adding a cool crispness . i love le male but dont care for the lavender so this was a good alternative . this gets complimented by women if that matters . i opted for this version but i like both, the original has a bit more sillage for longer but theyre too similar to complain (i wasnt born when this was released so i dont care to chase the OG and no shade this bottle is more aesthetically pleasing to me with the wood cap) ivy, absinthe, anise violet, violet wood, orgeat (floral almond syrup), rum cedar, cistus, vanilla, musk

Divine. I love this original masculine fragrance. It’s spicy and not too sweet, good balance. It’s dark but still pure green freshness is peaking through the vanilla cloud. Somewhat dated but still cool. A strong hero character with the anise. But you can clearly feel each individual woody notes, almonds, vanilla and a big violet. It hovers over the style of Le Male/Dior Homme og, thats to say a rich unapologetic mens perfume that easily pulls off being flowery and sweet. It also reminds me of Dunhill Icon Absolute. And the salty vanilla is a cousin to Animale Animale funky base. I am sensitive to reformulations, but this is pretty close to og from my memory. At least opening. Edit: Dry down is honestly even better like (10/10) but alas it fades after just one hour. I would actually like a stronger evening version (intense/noir) of the exact same concept. Just more oil to make it last to the next day.

i love love love this scent so much, it’s so beautiful. yes its a gourmand, but its a very spicy fresh gourmand, it’s not super sickly sweet. i would almost describe it as a sort of herbal cold sweetness. the almond blends really well with the anise and licorice. the licorice isn’t very dark or dense, it mainly just adds a nice twang. theres a boozy quality to it from the rum that’s really nice. the florals kind of hide in the background to add some complexity, while the musk and cedar give it that sort of bright cool freshness. this scent is extremely unique yet super wearable. despite how heavy the notes sound, its pretty easy going, light, and airy. you can overspray and it wont be too much, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that it sadly doesn’t last very long. tho i got a full size bottle for $33, so it’s totally worth it. signature scent worthy!

I wore the original in the late 90's/early 2000's and was deeply grieved when it was taken off the market. I got hold of a tester of the reformulated version recently and here's what I thought: 1. The top notes are similar, but - other than the scent of liquorish and anise that breaks through, it's only a shadow of the former's instant appeal and uniqueness. 2. After about 10 minutes and as the dry down really starts kicking-in, the unmistakable Lempika DNA starts to take charge, and the memories flooded back. 3. Once the heart notes begin to dominate the olfactory experience, it's ALL LEMPIKA. It's clear they've swapped out some of the naturals which gave the original such a distinct, rich, and almost gourmand flavour... but, if it means less sh*t gets killed so I can smell good (vegan) - I'm all for it. Lolita, I'm so glad you're back.

I prefer this to Au Masculine and I have 6 of the OGs left, 2 parfum intense as well and a few of the Minuit. Don't always need a banger and this is less sweet as compared to the OG and has some type of lingering clean note that I just can't describe, maybe a tiny faint mint?. Yes, a nice skin scent but gorgeous when after a shower with au masculine shower gel, paired with the au masculine deodorant spray and the Lempicka homme shave gel.. magnificent combo (i know... it's a lot) . This fragrance gets a lot of praise for professional, established reviewers like The Perfume Guy, Persolaise and many on Basenotes. Again, we don't always need a banger for the clubs, to me, scent is more personal and for me.

I’m a girl and I wear this. I love it! I also really love the notes of licorice or anise in perfume. I do like my gourmands and floral girly scents, but also enjoy a lot of unissex, oud and fresh/masculine scents on me. This one has a light projection, it’s a soft fragrance (I overspray, so people do notice) and I carry most of my fragrances with me so I can reapply if I feel like. Perfume is always an experience and pleasure moment for me so I like to reapply most of my fragrances during the day. This reminds me of the original LL for women (but less sweet) in the lilac with gold “apple” bottle and I love that one too. This also gets stronger and stronger as it sits. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Ok I did not know what to expect when I purchased the new Lolita Lempicka Homme. First of all the bottle is plain and simple with good sturdy wooden cap. As for the fragrance the OG Au Masculin was too boozy and sweet for my nose. I have to say the new version is much nicer and much more wearable on me. On first spray I’m getting the green ivy note and licorice which is still as prominent as the original. A nice floral note with the violet and a sweetness with the sugar. This fragrance is sweet but not overwhelming. Dries down to a very nice woody scent that lingers. Got to say I really like this one and glad I bought it. It’s perfect for Fall/Autumn and Winter.

Just got this in the mail and mannn I have to say I very like this one especially for its price! Just 30EUR at Notino for a gift box of 100ml together with aftershave. Indeed very licorice like with vanilla and a bit of wood. Very pleasant and I'm really surprised by it! After spraying it's a distinctive alcohol note but dries down very quickly to the rich mostly licorice and vanilla notes. Not offending and good for day/night and especially fall. Winter is ok too. Very warm scent. Well balanced and spicy but still a bit of freshness. I cannot say anything about longevity since I sprayed it 30min ago but don't really expect it to be a killer.

holy shit its good. a guy i talk to wears this and the first time he slept over, i kept waking up just to smell him. this scent genuinely makes me want to eat him, wtf? its masculine but definitely in a welcoming, interesting and warm way. not sharp and overpowering. makes me want to pull him closer. in a room full of dior sauvages, this flows along the floor and caresses your ankles. definitely sexy. definitely elegant. a cheap parfume for an expensive man. dries clean and rummy, but in a soft almost heartfelt way. if we stop talking, im so gonna miss him and his soft, delicious skin. does this make me a creep? probably...

Such a great fragrance ! French people in the know like to refer to it as a girl's trap - and truth be told, it gets complimented a lot. The best part is, whilst this became pretty mainstream in the 90's, it vanished from most stores for nearly a decade, giving it an almost most vintage-niche status now. If you're looking for a quality scent that stands out whilst being affordable, this could be your best pick. The new launch is very loyal to to what the scent was - and longevity is great. That licorice/ almond sweetness lingers into a dry masculine and elegant presence. Truly one of a kind !

Very nice re-design of the bottle first. Very elegant and nice wood at the top. The scent is still based on the classic original Lempicka Au Masculin but less sweet and it tends to evolve into a much dryer and more elegant liquorice than the original. I used to like all the versions of Lempicka for men since they started but this one is a very good reformulation that suits my late 40s better now. It remains however very close to the skin so don't expect much projection. It can be worn easily in all seasons even summer due to its new balance in the composition.

Sweet, warm and comfy as a hug. Very romantic, fancy and metrosexual fragrance, perfect for dates. A lovely, sexy and boozy licorice twisted with woody notes It doesn't fit for bad boys or "old spice" guys. This has a same vibe of Dior Homme but much more easy going and wear. As This version is EDT and more light it very easy to wear for any occasion. Lolita pour Homme is great for fall and cold spring days. If it has better performance it will be much better. Only 6 hours of longevity and good sillage.

The original eau masculine was my signature scent when i was in my early 20's. Beautiful fresh anise and licorice scent. But unfortunately it was discontinued at some point. Of course Homme has the exact same dna, but is lighter. It doesnt project as well as the original, but thats not always a bad thing. The eau masculine was a bit cloying, so this is much easier to wear. Scent: 8/10 Uniqueness: 8.5/10 Silage: 5.5/10 Longevity: 6/10 Versatility: 8.5/10

This is like if Prada Amber and Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male Le Parfum had a baby. It’s an absolute masterpiece and hidden gem. The liqorice note gives it a more mature and classy feel to it and really adds that perfect touch. The vanilla quickly comes in after sprayed on but maintains a powdery tone. The almond and rum really make it quite a versatile fall scent and can be worn by any age. Gonna start purchasing more powdery fall scents.

I was sat next to a perfumer on a flight home during the holidays. He recommended this scent after I mentioned that I had never purchased a perfume for myself and that I have a strong affinity for anise; I bought it on his recommendation. It would be hard for me to overstate my appreciation for his knowledge of the industry! The anise and vanilla are in perfect harmony, and this scent quickly became my daily wear.

We have to remember, there are some people on here who are or who know industry insiders and have advance access to samples and testers, so not everybody who is voting is doing so randomly. I do like the bottle a lot, and I look forward to seeing what this version of one of my favorite scents is like. I am puzzled by the "vegan" reference - does this mean it was developed by animal-friendly means?

i loveeee this scent. it opens with a sweet, masculine hit of anise, and licorice, making my sinuses dance a little. i feel like im a victorian candymaker hand mixing little hard candies. the spiciness moves away to a sweet rum vanilla mint. it feels like im making tinctures. it feels like i have pointy shoes on. doesnt overstay and i keep moving my wrist to my nose to sniff it more as it dries.

This is some really, really, really good stuff. A very edible gourmand that simultaneously manages to be very masculine. After settling down it smells exactly like the yellow liquorice/coconut candy in a Liquorice Allsorts bag. Or, if you're Scandinavian, like the yellow Pingvinstång. Yum! Side note: it smells nothing like the Green Lover version, which almost made me feel physically ill.

This is in my top 5. Edgy sygma boi LeMale. If you layer this with Mauboussin Homme, you can get kinda close to Escada Casual Friday. Which is awesome. This does project and gets really sweet, but you do get anosmic to it. Year round wear. Hot or cold, it's a night scent though. Wear Mauboussin Homme in the morning and this in the evening for the best Casual Friday experience.

One of the great sleepers of the fragrance world. Wonderful composition. Fully unisex and year-round versatility. Office friendly, changes with time, and crucially: Layering Mauboussin Homme edp (underneath/1st) with Lempicka Homme (applied on top/2nd) is the only way to get close to Escada Casual Friday without actually purchasing it for £500 a bottle.

A very toned down version of the Au Masculin version. I sprayed each on each hand and this one is a lot different, the anise and licorice combo hits different in Au Masculin and smells so much better and is so much louder. If you can find a bottle of Au Masculin for a fair price get it and you will see what I mean. It’s gorgeous

I agree 100% with the excellent review from Schnappo90. I have the original Au Masculin, but I actually prefer this. It's a better blend - less scratchy/harsh. This is smoother and has more longevity, but the overall smell of the fragrance is almost identical to the former release.

Does this share similarities to the OG Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin? Yes, but the OG is a lot better. Since it’s overpriced now you can’t beat the price for this! This is still 95% the same fragrance. I usually do not like licorice scents but this is amazing!

I understand why it is compared to Le Male. Not that they smell the same, but the construction is similar. The ending of the scent leans even more towards Le Male. It is a very good scent, and I am happy to have it in my collection.

Charming and Intense Scent! Licorice, Anise, Vanilla and Rum are prominent notes of This Perfume. It smells kinda minty...For gentlemen in every age. Perfect for Fall, Winter and Spring. Not recommended for Summer.

As a person who owns 5 bottles of vintage le male, I definitely get whiffs of that exact smell. This is a wonderful fragrance for the price.

Blind bought this from a retail discounter months back and has been holding back testing as I felt it has an unusual scent profile and could be too sweet. The main reason I didn't hesitate to get it is because Lempicka Homme is the new modern Au Masculin (french version of the old but popular South Korean version) I've seen Au Masculin around everywhere in my younger days and tried it before but found it not musculine enough despite the name, but it hold memories. I actually preferred the scent profile for the other men's Green Lover, fresh scent but it wasn't available. Source: official website. Opening: A blast of sweet sweet sugary syrupy apple, anais with vanilla, supported by spices and licorice. One of the sweetest opening I've nosed. And this is smells like jpg Le Male, pretty similar but way sweeter and spicy, Le Male is more green n fresh... guys who love sweet scents and jpg style of profile will love this I'm sure. After some 10-20mins, the heart notes starts to dominate, the scent became less sweet and opens up to woody-powdery flora and stays that way till the drydown. This is pretty good actually after the opening. If you don't like the syrupy sweet opening, get pass that and you have a very nice rather complicated scent developing in. Why I say so is because I'm getting quite a few heart notes trying to impress with every sniff every so often, sometimes I get more woodiness sometimes, more flora sometimes and rummy and almond at times, this stays for a while. Here I get similaries to Dior Homme og. The drydown is also good with vanilla that has been around for a while still present and musky, soft woody probably the cedar. Performance: After opening blast of sweetness for 15mins+-, heart notes dominates but mostly on skin and silage is weak, projection only opening, longetivity about 4-5hrs probably. Verdict: 7/10 A sweet, lovely, sexy, boozy metrosexual fragrance with woody powdery vanilla notes that's perfect for dates and all occasions.

Been wearing this a few times, but with the cooler weather it seems to be more fitting now. Generally I'd say it is aromatic, and smelling it blind the initial notes seem woody, floral, with some musky-spicy elements. Looking at the notes, the wormwood, licorice, anise, and ivy define the spice profile, but don't expect obvious representation. And while the woody cedar, musk, Ivy, Violet, Rose water, and Orange blossom can be "found", I simultaneously have a hard time finding the Rum, Almond, Sugar, and Vanilla notes. After the fragrance mainly dissapates, I did get a tiny echo of a soft leathery notes similar to Labdanum. Initially seems like it might lean masculine, it is fairly unisex. For the price point I feel like it is a good buy, while not falling into the generic pool of mainstream aromatic fragrances. 9/11/23 pulled this out again after a good 9 month hiatus. My memory was this is more woodsy, but it was far more licorice and anise than I recall. Could also pick up on the vanilla and almond a lot more. Could be it aging after a year, could be I overlooked it. Still a great buy, has character while remaining very approachable. At times I feel to old for it's initial sweetness, but that dies down. If you over spray a bit (but stay inside for a bit), you'll get more longevity. I find myself reaching for this before going out on cool weather evenings when it's a friendly affair.

The first spray makes it feel loud and intense but within a minute it settles as a skin scent. It smells like a generic masculine scent at the initial blast but it has a slight medicinal core which I find intriguing. It must be the liquorice as it reminds me of liquorice flavoured cough syrup I hated as a kid (the taste, not the smell). As it settles down, the medicinal liquorice slowly turns more into a mild, ever so slightly sweet, and minty toothpaste scent. By itself it would smell clean and perhaps even sterile like a dentist’s office. But there’s some additional notes in there that add a bit of “dirt” and roughness to the scent which I like. The perfume paints a picture in my head: a young, whimsical and soft looking dentist with different potions in quirky bottles, stacked in his wooden cabinets with windows letting through gentle, purple colored rays of sunshine. Outside the window grows a lovely medicinal garden. I love scents that paint an image in my head so this is a massive plus for me. I think it’s a great unisex scent for someone sweet, introverted and kind. You won’t smell this on them unless you hug them. Edit: my bf said it smells a bit like Jäegermeister at first

I'm wearing LL Homme and LL Au Masculine side by side with no bias from preexisting attachment to one or the other. Both are pleasant and similar. I prefer Homme. Notes are very similar of course, as Homme was a replacement for discontinued Au Masculine. There's sweet anise, licorice up front. A bit sharper in Au Masculine and almost but not quite gourmand in Homme. Au Masculine is more full-bodied, whereas Homme is more pillowy. Both have hints of rum but not boozy. More almond from Au Masculine, a note I'm not a fan of generally. More wormwood and vanilla from Homme. More floral from Au Masculine and more musk from Homme, but neither of these are striking. Licorice is the star. Neither of these EDT have strong performance. Both were low-cost fragrances on release, but now that Au Masculine is discontinued, the price is gouged. Considering the prices that old bottles of Au Masculine go for (~ $100/100mL), and how close it is to Homme ($32/100 mL), I'd say that Au Masculine is awful value, while Homme is good but not great value considering the limited performance.

I do not have the original Au Masculin to compare this too, but, if it was stronger (allegedly?) I don't think I would like it as much as this time smooth, soft, spicy, and sweet fragrance. This smells like licorice herbal tea with some sugar cubes and a drop of rum. It has a slight gourmand touch as well. If you are familiar with "biscotti" italian cookies, especially those in Italian-American batteries, this frag smells exactly like the batter and when they are fresh out of the container. It has a doughy feel that I could entirely be due to my association. I think this is a solid fragrance, nothing 10/10 amazing but very solid and I enjoy wearing it in the evenings or on crisp, cool, autumn days. It is relaxing and I am not sure for those purposes if a more "beast mode" version would be nice to me. The sugar drop sweetness and the molasses like sugar not would be too cloying if it pushed or was heavier. 7.5/10

Sweet and perfumey. One of those fragrances with a lot going on. Without the notes too much guesswork would be involved, but with the notes you're left feeling, really? For instance I'm not picking up the woody notes. Or am I? Big BIG sniffs and maybe a little cedar. Big sniffs do find the liquorice. And maybe, just maybe, the faintest whiff of the rum. Floral I'm definitely getting - the rose water and violet. As for almond, no. But, almond blossom, yes. Not getting the wormwood or ivy, but I assume they're there, maybe keeping the sweetness in check. My first thoughts were of Ted Lapidus Pour Homme because of the powdery sweetness, but it dries down more floral. Less thick, less heavy honey sweetness. I'm not making a very good job of describing this am I? OK, I'll stick with my opening line. Lempicka Homme is sweet and perfumey. Longevity quite good, lasts over 8 hours. Sillage moderate.

First impressions. Yes, quite similar to Le Male at first, but it's more sweet and spicy, whereas Le Male is more green, bitter and powdery fresh. For me, Le Male belongs definitely in the fougère family, whereas Lempicka Homme steers more toward the gourmand, but doesn't quite arrive there. The licorice note is very obvious, but reminds me more of licorice root than the candy. There is quite a bit of sweetness and booziness, but there is also some kind of woodiness or rootiness to balance it. You start to get it more and more in the drydown, and here it goes a different route than Le Male and starts to remind me of DHI instead -- some kind of powdery-woody-nutty-flowery quality, add some white musk. Overall, very pleasant and rounded. Of course, it could be unisex, but I don't see it as especially feminine.

Smells like it would be a great fall/winter fragrance. I’m trying it now for the first time, it’s the summer months when it’s 95° every day, so this seems just too sweet and heavy. I really wish the the notes came through more and it was less candy sweet. It has the quality of a typical cheap designer frag where they emphasize the generic synthetic sweetness and just add small touches of the listed notes. I was really excited to try something with a prominent anise/licorice note, it’s one of my favorite natural smells and it’s not too common among perfumes. This is primarily synthetic sweetness and musk, you really have to search out the listed notes. Average performance.

This is a Lovely Scent, Soft , Sweet , Spicy and Warm .It reminds me a bit of Le Male but It is not the same. The Licorice and The Vanilla notes are dominant in this perfume. I bought it blind-buy after reading the positive comments with reasonable price. It opens up with semi sweet soft Spicy and floral notes in the background then dry down is sweet vanilla musky and woody. Lempicka Homme is Sweet but It is not Gourmand , This is perfect for the Cold Weather and I really enjoy it. Longevity is Average , Highly recommended. Thumbs Up. Rating : 8 / 10

It's a pleasant unique scent, which is quite linear (smells very similar in the opening as in the drydown - the only thing that fades is the Anise, but quite slowly for a top note). It can feel overly spicy, if you spray too much and it can irritate the nose/throat, the same way as if you put ground pepper in a hot pan. It's quite a complete, finished scent, there are no notes "sticking out" or "separating" (at least to me), so at first I was unable to distinguish any individual ingredients. It's nice, but not safe for a blind buy in my opinion.

I tried it today and I thought "not bad fragrance but so week in longevity and strenght". Generally some note reminded me on Joop For Men but its not agresive. Joop is stronger, thats for sure. Edit: I bought full bottle on discount for 25 eur. It is actually nice fragrance, but its weak still or its my skin chemistry. Anyway, be generous with sprays.

It smells really nice - soft, warm and cuddly. But it has absolutely no power, the projection and sillage are nonexistent and it lasts max a couple of hours on clothes, much shirter on skin. The scent profile would be nice in autumn and winter, but I can't imagine this could cut through the cold.

I can sort of understand why people might like this but I don’t. Personally, it kind of smells like toothpaste or something of the sort but like a bit warmer and less mint smelling. It’s just not for me so I’d have to give it a 5/10 on smell. Performance wise, it’s acceptable so 6/10 5.5/10

Smells like a walk through frosted woods, like the midsection between the Gingerbread tree and Licorice woods in Candyland without being too sweet. It's more spicy, but an overall like. I just hate how it fades so easily, but it makes it easy to work with other scents.

Smells like licorice and anise, but also sweet, minty and icy. For me personally is more of a winter scent. I'd describe it like fresh, licorice-y and herbal. If you want a bit of zing in your perfume collection definitely get it.
