Electro Limonade

Oh Natalie. Be still my heart, this is absolutely gorgeous. My first outing from this brand and I was a bit sceptical about them at first, didn't really know if they were legit or just some gimmicky crap but through trying a few and hearing opinions from trusted friends, I get that this is a really cool brand with something to say, beautiful, anti-cliched perfume with nice quality packaging and reasonable pricing, all the tick boxes really. I'm usually rushing past the 'freshie' to get to the leather and iris, or incense perfumes and as good and not just rehashing as they are Electro Limonade stood out to me as a potential early favourite from L'Orchestre. It reminds me of something from childhood it has that fizzy, sweets quality, but definitely the refreshment of a long drink on the veranda, ice cubes bobbing about, me in a thong yada yada... you get the imagery. The hue of this perfume is pink! Right away, I wanted to say pink grapefruit but it's not sharp or bitter enough for that, definitely pink though, and lemonade does feature but not necessarily everything. So it says rhubarb here and I'd have to sniff again but the interplay of a rhubarb material could be giving this citrus a twist more ferocious that the fruits squeezed into Electro Limonade or the one at the end of Usual Suspects. (bit of pop culture humour for you there. What? fuck off! I'm a dad, we do dad jokes) The base is a very well put together light woody feel, giving a teenie, tiny bit of oceanic vibes but nowhere near trying too hard to evoke the seaside, this is a cocktail to be consumed anywhere. So fresh, so lovely and fairly long lasting too, combining a modern citrus vibe that I'm not familiar with, so yeah big success with me and coming into summer might be just the thing I need. Great start L'Orchestre.

This smells great. But it also smells Exactly like a kitchen cleaning product i use (though of better quality and smoother). Cleaning products are scented differently depending on counties and culture. So don't think it's a cleaning product scent in general. But for where is live, it is.

What an amazing scent and silage. This is such a smooth citrus, like a more wearable version of Goldfield and Banks Bohemian lime. This is a banger and deserves a place in my top 10 summer fragrance of all time

Light, airy and watery. Good for hot weather or gym time. Rhubarb is main star here, supporting by citrus and smoke. Very refreshing. Love it. ❤️

I was so lucky to get my hands on something from this line. My mini bottle (0.5 oz) of Electro Limonade from MaxAroma was on sale, with a coupon. I love how it has a QR code of its song and lists the Mediterranean as an inspiration. I was iffy about the incense undertone (e.g. olibanum is nice but has a distinctive scent) out of the bottle, but the composition really is fresh and airy on my skin. It feels unisex to me because it has the freshness of a men's cologne, but settles nicely on my skin. I could swear there's ginger in here; I have to check my bottle. Electro Limonade appealed because I adore citrus and have strongly preferred vetiver over patchouli these days (especially for fresh fragrances). This reminds me a bit of Cote d'Azur by Oribe (lovely scent) but a tad more feminine, more citrus, and way less of vetiver/florals. I've been struggling with a persistent, low level migraine all day, but a small spritz of Electro Limonade hasn't irritated it at all. I don't detect anything unpleasant: no sharpness, scratchiness, or plasticky undertones. Electro Limonade is a really nice option for anyone looking to try a fresh, sweet, surprisingly rounded citrus without any loud jasmine or vanilla. (No shade to vanilla or jasmine; I just don't always want it in a scent) ETA: This is what my bottle says (first in French, then in English): "Electro Limonade Terrace over the Mediterranean Sea. very nice orangey juicy sweet summer fragrance. Initial blasts you with really juicy and sweet oranges with a touch of minty lemon. Then a very fresh and crunchy rhubarb vibe blends with a bit of incense and vetiver tames the initial sweet punch to a more manageable to the nose kind of sweetness. This one gives me an initial jolting impression and kinds of wakes up my senses. I love the smell but if performance is lacking, it would not merit a fb. Projection is a bit weak. Will update on the longevity after a full wearing of my 2ml sample. Update: The dry down kinda reminds me of mint toothpaste. It's just sad that my brain thinks of it that way. But nice fragrance overall though. Longevity is good solid 8+ hours with soft to moderate projection. You should try it yourselves and see if the dry down works for you.

Very fresh fragrance for lemon lovers. Perfect for hot days, 100% unisex. You smell clean! The sillage and longevity are moderate. It is not a complex scent, and it is very linear. 7/10 In this brand, I like... -> for me: rose trombone (fall & winter), Electro limonade (summer), Bouquet Encore (spring & fall) and Flamenco Néroli (summer) -> for my husband: Ambre cello (fall & winter), cuir kora (fall & winter) and Thé Darbouka (all seasons)

Its fresh opening dries to a pleasant generic freshie on me. Reassuringly not kitchen cleaner it fades to something not unlike l,Occitan verbena. It’s not very powerful, I got a slight generic herb rather than mint in the middle and no real sweetness on me. If I’d been told this was a Zara Man fragrance I would say it was no surprise. I had a very generous sample. Lots of other brands do this type of fragrance in less generic ways. It’s ok.

Im missing the electro part. Was hoping for something sharp, ozonic. Soft sweetish limonade, thin performance. Gone incredibely fast, a skin scent after a minute

Lemons, refreshing, summer... Etc the rhubarb is so lovely. Reminds me of my childhood. It's bliss in a bottle. 7/10

First time I tried this I was not impressed but the second time I tried it the sun was shining outside and it felt like spring in the air and suddenly it felt very different. With that said I think this is a perfume for the spring or summer and for you that like fresh clean citrus type of scents. It feels like sitting outside in the sun and drinking a glass of sweet lemonade on a sunny day with cleaned clothes hanging to dry near by. It is not a sexy perfume but more a fresh feeling.

Altough this is a nice fresh lemony and minty fragrance, it's too synthetic for me. I like the dna but the synthetic aspect is off puttting for me personally.

A very bright and zingy citrus fragrance with an incense-tinged drydown. Incredibly low lasting power, I can barely feel it literally minutes after spraying.

Smells ok, no more no less. I can sort a little lemon and mint in the opening. but the dry down is all about rhubarb. At least on my skin.

Smells like a woody citrus bar soap. Clean and easy but not so interesting.

Sorry if I offend someone here, but...I love lemon if it's done right, like in Ô de Lancome. To me, this stuff smells more like the lemon you get in cleaning products, a scent that I can't stand. To me it comes across as crude and annoying. One of few perfumes I can't even use as a room spray. Again, this is just me,

I'm unable to appreciate this one. Very synthetic, with something sickly sweet in the opening. I can actually taste it when I smell it with my mouth closed. However, I can see how someone else may like it.

Ah, how many memories about electronic music: cocktails and fun, in really beautiful venues... Electro Lemonade reminded me of drinking a vodka lemon while moving in time to the music. A citrusy fragrance, slightly sour and bitter, very pleasant and summery. I wasn't struck by its originality, I'm honest but it's really excellent to wear.

That's just an ordinary lemon freshie - nothing complicated. On my skin it stayed the same from beginning to end.
