I’m broke and really shouldn’t have bought this, but after one sniff, I couldn’t stop literally dreaming about it. At first I get a very realistic lucky charms note, but not in a sweet body splashy type of way, it’s more like the smell of a memory, which might sound like a crazy, but if you’re familiar with Lore, you should know that they’re really olfactory storytellers, no wonder they’re called Lore. So after the opening settles, I get the milk note, which is a dream come true, so soft and very fresh. A lot of perfumes that are described as lactonic are simply vanilla perfumes, which is a boring interpretation in my opinion. This one is so different, so exciting through and through. It sits pretty close to the skin after an hour or so, which is not a bad thing, it feels very intentional and aligned with the whole concept, but I’m hopelessly addicted to it so I’ve been spraying myself obsessively all day. This bottle will not last. No regrets!

Ok so I’m seeing SO many mixed opinions and negative reviews on this one, but if you really understand olfactory and the noses behind this fragrance, you’ll appreciate the beauty that is Lil Softie. This is for the Glossier You lovers. The ones you want an effortlessly chic, your skin but better, lean in closer type of fragrance. You definitely get the fruit loops cereal up top which fades after about 30 min, but is always lingers in the background. To me this dries down to a cozier and more mouth-wateringly yummy version of glossier you. The more I wear it, the more I love it. DANGIT

smells like a starchy version of studied by liis. it's sweet and musky with a hint of citrus and starch. i definitely see the comparison to fruit loops, but i don't think it's overwhelming (i'm not someone who personally wants to smell like fruit loops all day long). i think it's just the starchy citrus-y sweetness that gives that vibe. i.e. i don't think a random stranger would think you smell like fruit loops - i think they'd just think you smell good! overall, this perfume is right up my alley as someone who loves skin scents and musks.

Just got this today & quite like it! It doesn't smell like the notes listed to me so much. But it does smell similar to Glossier You & Fleur. I don't get pepper, which is nice. It's like You without the peppery note. It almost has a minty quality in the opening, which I also get in Fleur. It's soft and sweet and sits fairly close to the skin. My daughters all loved it, as well, & they're teenagers who are quite choosy. I wouldn't blind buy, but if you like the You/Fleur profile, I think you'd be safe.

After reading the notes and seeing a few reviews, I decided to blind buy this fragrance. And, oh my gosh, this is absolutely beautiful! I do get a little bit of a Glossier You vibe but this has that yummy, fruity note that amps it up and I love the pink pepper note that adds a bit of spice. It's cozy, a little milky and starchy with a sweet, musky dry down that's intoxicating. I love it! I'll always have this in my collection.🩷

Love!! This is a very interesting fragrance. The cereal note scared me a little, but it is quite subtle, and once it dries down on my skin, the cereal note loses its "breadiness" and turns more musky, clean, and slightly sweet. Very wearable, and I like how soft it sits on my skin. It doesn't project much, which I prefer because I have a sensitive sense of smell. Great fragrance!!

a very pleasant clean sweet skin scent with a fun initial whiff of grainy cereal milk. then it gets very pink peppery and glossier you-like but then starts to smell like ambre vanille by laura mercier but much softer and lighter and then fades to softly sweet skin. I got a travel size and I probably will get a full bottle for wearing to work!

Out of the entire Lore collection, this one blows me away. I'm a big fan of milk scents, but I was nervous when I saw this had a pink pepper note. It's mainly present in the beginning, and it mellows down to a slight powdery finish that really complements the cereal milk. It's so unique; I'm definitely picking up a big bottle.

I honestly did not think I liked this when I first bought the travel size, but I just could not stop smelling myself. This reminds me of spilling a bowl of cereal on myself as a kid and sucking the milk out of my wet sleeve. Very specific memory, but it's comforting.

10/10 this is so soft and beautiful. has a bright fluffy citrus opening, not harsh in a cleaning product type of way. dries down softer and more musky while still carrying the fruit loop scent in the background. thankfully, this is not gourmand at all

Waking up early in the morning to cocoon yourself in a blanket and eat cereal from a frosted glass bowl . You are watching television and your cat is making biscuits in your lap. Like being late to brunch because you are savoring the stillness

such a delight, very light but lasted on my skin for a few hours. bought it immediately after testing it. if you dont like glossier you, you will hate this. I'm very into musk & ambroxan right now, and this just itched the right spot.

VERY cereal milky at the beginning. fades away quick i have a way too picky and sensitive nose so it’s a nice sweet skin scent to me! will likely invest sometime soon. 9/10

love at first smell...... this is absolutely a beautiful milky skin sent. I cannot get enough. it gets better as you wear it too. ugh.

IMO this is not a sweet gourmand. It's a fresh musky perfume. It starts off as a citrus-like fruity scent, then as it dries down you can detect a hint of fruit loop-esque cereal (but it's the dry fruit loops) - this is NOT lactonic whatsoever. You definitely detect the ambroxan/musk and pink pepper throughout the wear - I like these notes and they make the scent stand out so I don't mind. Overall, I do love this scent!! The marketing is misleading though because it's not really a true gourmand for a fruit loop milky lactonic scent. Go for Morning Cartoons by Skylar or Cereal Milk/Rice Milk from Mochiglow if you really want a lactonic froot loop/fruity pebble scent. Still love this though and got the full bottle! It's giving the essence of a fruity cereal breakfast, but not the actual thing. Great for summer too! Performance is moderate on me. Note: This is my first Lore perfume and will be interested in their upcoming future releases. The first 4 they released did not catch my attention as much as this one.

Initially met with the milk, subtle but not distracting, but then the Fruit Loops come on full force... for me personally. And as someone who doesn't really like Fruit Loops, I don't really care for the initial application. But if you can ignore it for a bit, then you'll be fine. After some time, it does have a more neutral dry-down and actually reminds me a lot of Father Figure by Phlur. Which honestly, if you already have Father Figure, you're really not missing too much with Softie. The Fruit Loops effect goes away pretty quickly. However, if you do want a longer milk experience, it definitely layers well with Mineral Milk by Dedcool

Initial spray, can definitely smell the milk/cereal as well as the bergamot. The people who were describing the opener as Froot Loop-like were spot on. It definitely dries down to a more skin scent quite quickly, almost too soft to even smell, but still there. Very soft and gentle. Honestly, I wish the more lactonic aspects lasted a bit longer, but the description as well as the notes listed are pretty spot-on. I was scared about the ambroxan (typically turns into a chemical nightmare on my skin), but my fear was not needed.

As soon as I sprayed this my brain said “I already have this!” And I realized it was 11:11 Moon! I LOVE 11:11 Moon so much... a bit more so this isn’t something I would pick up a full size of but I do like it and will use the travel size I picked up. I get more a more citrusy musky profile more than anything else, it’s pretty. I don’t get cereal really but I do for a bit pick up on the milky lactonic aspect of it but it disappears.

Not really my vibe but I still appreciate this and think Lore did a good job as making something special. The cereal note isn't sweet-- it has a bit of a savory, oat-y feel to it, and it is very subtle. The rest of the composition almost feels cold and slightly aldehydic, which could be interpreted as cold milk. The whole thing is more of an abstract interpretation of cereal milk. Musky, refreshing, clean, unique.

This is totally Glossier You with a creamy fruit loops opening. It’s wild how realistic the cereal milk is, unfortunately it is short lived. The dry down to me is the classic glossier you musky pink pepper dna with the addition of some tangy bergamot. I personally think this is really fun and I will definitely be picking up a bottle during the next sephora sale.

Don't let the name and the marketing convice you that this is a gormand. Yes, there is a fruit loop opening, but it goes away quicky. I get very little sweetness and lots of musky orris (even though orris is not listed in the notes). One of the most unique scents in my collection.

Just tried it on a whim without knowing the notes and the first thing it reminded me of was sweet tooth lemon pie ! But very quickly morphs into something way more musky.. that opening is totally giving Sabrina sweet tooth lemon pie vibes tho in the best way possible

Opens with a frothy, airy milk scent with that froot loop cereal starch that dries down into a slightly sweet ambroxan musk that makes it feel cozy and fresh. It's barely a gourmand, but a great unisex, skin scent for the price point - my dental hygienist approved.

I was never a big fan of any Lore fragrance. Sublimity is very synthetic to me and the other 3 were too masculine. Lil Softie is the only one so far that I actually enjoy. I smell musk and Fruit Loops.

lactonic, musky, pink pepper scent with the suggestion of sweet cereal milk...! it’s quite pretty but not very special imo, i think i’ll pass but i’d wear it if gifted!

I was very excited for this one and I do love the scent. Its light. Great combo of sweetness but fresh enough to not go straight gourmand. I don't mind it being a very low projecting skin scent but I do mind the disappearing act. I do get easily anosmic so I'm trying not to judge, and I'm gonna give it more time to see if it's better in certain scenarios. Personally I like a fragrance my neighbors can smell, I wore angel on my wedding day, which some might consider an act of violence. For now it's giving body mist performance

I hateee when brands mislead us w marketing. This is another case of the marketing looks so good and appealing you can’t resist it but the scent lets you down 🥲 This smells way too similar to father figure than it should. This is a bergamot skin musk w a peppery opening... that’s IT. Nothing ab it is giving cereal milk let alone milk lol.. Not what i expected in the slightest, I’m bummed. 🙄

Lil softie is right, it's just a straight up skin musk. Idk what all these pictures of Cereal milk and fruit loops and all that are for, I smell milk and musk. It's not bad AT ALL, it's just straight musk

this is 100% glossier you with a fruity top notes that vanish in 10 minutes, this was soooo disappointing :(

I have nooo idea what people are talking about comparing it to Glossier You and similar fragrances. It only smells like Glossier You for about 30 seconds and then it dries down to a SUPER LIGHT version of 11:11 moon. I get lemon and musk with the faintest hint of something cereal/grain like. So faint that you wouldn’t know it was there unless you looked at the notes. It’s basically just lemon and a light musk. You have to press your nose into your wrist to smell anything. There will be zero sillage, trust me. Now I know why it’s called lil SOFTIE.

It smells like how the stale milk from fruit loops tastes to me :( and it lasted two seconds.

i like this she’s cute. i enjoy this diva on the opening and through the dry down. starts of with a subtle citrusy entrance and i quickly begins to pick up on the “fruit loop” vibe everyone’s been talking about. this does have a subtle milky quality to it but it’s not thick at all it’s kinda transparent in a way that i really enjoy. so far ive had this on for about 30 minutes and its still detectable on skin so that’s good. if you read any reviews talking about how this doesn’t project please take into consideration that this isn’t supposed to be that kind of fragrance. i can see myself wearing this to bed or to the gym mostly. if you want someone to smell you while wearing this then id apply when you know your going to be having closeness / warm embrace. layering wise i feel like this would pair well with fruity call by Snif if you want to enhance the fruity nuance of fragrance. I’ll be posting combos with this diva on my instagram @parfumpresident with a more in depth audible review. 💖 UPDATE: so piggy backing off of what i said about this being a intimate scent i 100% stand on that i only wear this to bed now i tried wearing this as a workout scent and it did pretty well and i could actually feel the fragrance warm up on my skin but it quickly dissipated after that while i did enjoy it while going for a job im thinking of just making this a full time bed time scent it’s so cozy and truly feels like a nice hug in a way that i really enjoy. im 100% buying a back up for this because ive already put quite the dent in it 😭. ALSO if you have the neapolitan ice cream body mist from B&BW this layers SOO GOOD with it. ive been wearing this combo to bed for the past few days and im obsessed.

I mean ya, this smells like cereal milk. They were able to do it without any rancid sour notes or that infamous moldy mildew smell that some milk perfumes have. However, I’m really disappointed with the longevity and projection from this — and that is coming from someone who typically avoids heavier perfumes. I know skin scents are trendy and all, but these brands are taking it too far. They are charging triple digits for perfumes that are weaker than $6 body makes from Victorias Secret. Fresh Cream by philosophy is stronger than this, by a landslide. I would love to see how Tom Ford, Mugler, Viktor & Rolf, or Chanel would execute a fragrance with these same notes. I miss the quality and personality that perfumes had back in the day. I won’t be giving my money to these smaller Sephora brands anymore, not even travel sizes. A Chanel cereal milk or vanilla icecream perfume would change my life. This is just another body mist.

So so fun! I love this, it smells like fruit loops for three minutes, then settles into a yummy skin scent that lasts for hours. The ambroxan and bergamot come through really loud, pepper is faint but there, and the bergamot is almost lime to my nose, but not tart. I also at the same time get a beautiful laundry/dryer sheet in the background. It’s so wearable and super fun to experience. I personally don’t think it smells anything like glossier you, but I can see what they mean in regards to it being a skin scent. It’s not similar to my nose, but it’s a similar vibe. It’s exactly what I wanted 2% to be, but much better and not creamy. It’s almost like a “jelly” texture to my nose, versus “laconic or creamy” but I do still smell milk.

not fruit loops! im actually shocked. I read so many reviews saying this smelled like fruit loops but nope! it almost gives photorealistic, warm, lemon poppy seed muffins for the first few minutes. its so good and cozy smelling. then the muffin part mellows out a bit and it turns into a citrusy skin musk. its very much a skin scent, so this will not be alerting people that you've entered the building. but its so good. you could probably spray this 100x and not offend anyone, it just smells that good. this is like what you hope the person next to you in an airplane will be wearing.

First 10 mins are straight up froot loops. Not overly sweet, but photorealistic froot loops. Just that little bit of starchy sweetness, like the white coating on your favorite childhood morning ritual. As someone who would never seek out a cereal fragrance, I do like it more than anticipated. However, as it dries down, it becomes a more synthetic-feeling milky tangy musk. I see the vision of the bowl of milk, infused with froot loops now eaten, but the result isn't quite to my taste.

I decided to give this another try and used my travel bottle this weekend.It smells like breast milk.No compliments whatsoever and the scent lasted about 10 minutes total.I have to say that without a doubt,this is the most overhyped,underperforming,and most falsely advertised scent I’ve ever worn.If you want to smell like the bottom of a box of cereal,pencil shavings and breast milk,go for it!

I was so very excited to smell this and was hoping very desperately that it did not smell too much like froot loops or 2% despite literally every piece of marketing being froot loops. Well, I sprayed it and it smelled just like froot loops. To be expected I guess but I was hoping the musk and ambrette came through more... will skin test to see if the froot loops goes away after the dry down.

Booooooo! I was so excited for the travel size to arrive today! It just doesn’t cut it unfortunately.There’s too much going on with this scent and it definitely doesn’t smell like fruit loops as advertised.I can smell the bottom of a cereal bowl,a bit of ash and peppermint candy in the distance.Very weird.It also reminds me of a very,very watered down version of SDJ 62

Snif is already reheated nachos sit down 😒 Throwing stones from glass houses. Lactonic notes and gourmands have been trendy for almost a year now every midrange brand with a younger demographic is or has put out a scent like this. Let's leave actual reviews in the review section yes?

its really sad how some of the best scents have the worst longevity. at first it smells exactly like the iced lemon loaf from starbucks and when the lemon fades, it slowly becomes a very faint milk fruit loops scent. kind of like the snif cereal milk frag just.... not as intense lol

i tested this in sephora but to be honest, this is not a scent that i would gravitate towards. the opening is a photorealistic cereal milk. it’s more of a smell rather than a scent. the scent dried down to a very musty smell. not very pleasant.

i only smelled this on a tester paper at Sephora so take this as a grain of salt but without knowing the notes it smelled exactly like those soft chalky peppermints. i dont know what note(s) in this is reading as minty to me but i dont hate it!

It smelled like fruit loops for the first 2 min then it started to smell like sandalwood. I don’t see sandalwood in the notes though. It’s like a slightly milky sandalwood. Drydown reminds me of VS bare sueded vanilla, with less vanilla.

This was a lot fruitier than I expected it to be. I knew there would be fruit loop-esque top notes but I honestly expected a more milkier composition. I definitely see the musky clean girl vibe they were trying to emulate. Not for me.

Omg it really does smell like cereal. Wouldn't wear this out and about, but cute!
