Santal Sugar

Very nice fragrance. The sourness of the raspberry is perfectly matched with the creme brule note and the Litchi sweatness. Coconut is always present but not aggressively. The Sandalwood and tonka give it a calming woody background. I don't know why people say sillage is enormous btw. For me at least, it's moderate at best. Longevity is pretty good though.

Soft litchi and raspberry all thru the scent supported by slightly smokey sandalwood. I do also get very polite violets softening the sandalwood. I get no coconut really or cream brulee. It's very pretty, easily unisex. I think/know I would love this on a confident gent. Sadly it's not groundbreaking and a bit forgettable. I have many other sandalwood that leave this in their dust. So for the price it's a solid no for me. However if this was one of the first sandalwood I've ever tried I'd probably be saving my money. If it were gifted to me I'd be thrilled and if I find a very reasonably priced (under $100) bottle I'd probably buy it. At this price point Santal Complet is better. It's creamier and you get the coconut. Santal Sugar is drier, not as sweet but does the fruit better. (I don't know if that helps, they are nothing alike, I was just comparing in same pricepoint) Longevity is stellar 8hrs easy but projection is moderate for first hour then pulls in close and envelopes you in an intimate bubble.

Raspberry and sandalwood, and that's all I sense. Tangy but not tart. A like for me but just not sure where I would wear this one.

I have this on a test strip and my wrist....It's an interesting fragrance...equally on both the test strip and my wrist it starts off very tart and sour in the top notes. As it dries down I can smell the sandalwood undertones which as that initial "in your face" tart/sourness calms down there is a nicer balance of the notes. The sandalwood comes forward more on my skin, though the notes stay fairly similar smelling on both the test strip and my skin through the dry down. It's def interesting....I find myself not liking it and then also liking it at the same time. I think it needs a sweet base like a sweet body cream to balance out the tartness of it. To me, this leans more feminine and would be good in warmer weather during the day. ....This is probably not for me, but if someone walked by wearing this outside, with a little wind hitting them, I would be intrigued to want to smell the scent trail. **Edit: Someone had mentioned it being similar to a fragrance with passion fruit....and the final dry down does get pretty pungent like some passion fruit fragrances such as Tiziana Terenzi "Kirké". I was def not vibing with the final dry down.

All I’m getting is violets and sandalwood. Disappointed that the coconut and Creme brûlée don’t come through, as those notes are what made me want to sample this in the first place lol. This perfume is... fine. But at Lorga’s price point, things need to be better than “fine.” Average performer as well. Meh

Opens so soapily it bypasses all anatomy and delivers straight to the back of my throat. It begins to dry down into a more tolerable, slightly woody, violet floral, but the sharpness of what I think is the litchi and bergamot still overwhelms it with organic cleaning product accords. After some time it’s much softer — light floral, slightly creamy. To me, the soapiness still lingers, but the cringy edge dissipates into something warmer and more nostalgic, like the smell of your hot skin after taking a bath with a highly perfumed, cheap, bubble bath/body wash two-in-one. I don’t hate it, but I don’t like it, and I wouldn’t wear it. I’m only saying I don’t hate it to be nice, and because it’s probably very dependent on my own nose, chemistry, and taste.

Tried a sample from lucky scent and it was a no for me. I ordered it because I love gourmands and this had sugar in the name. Turned into a very smoky woody sandalwood with no sweetness to my nose. Also had no projection (to be fair I only had a sample). Definitely not a safe blind buy

A very smart brand they are submitting a new smell in the market and something out of the box and this is the success, this perfume is not like the following perfumes : 1.santal royal by guerlain. 2. oud and santal by cartier. 3. santal basmati by affensences. 4.secret wood by Kilian. Santal Sugar by Lorga Parfums is sugary fruity and the sandalwood in the background screaming in a silent way to improve that is still here but is not noising or it's not in an ugly way at all very beautiful and comforting but you can't use it as daily perfume at all it's only for special nights or meeting or dating. overall:8/10

Not feeling this one. Not what i was expecting at all!. This on my skin skells like violets with sugar. Then drydown smells a bit better with a passionfruit kind of accord. Unique fir sure but not for me and i would steongly advise against blind buying this one especially for men.

I am surprised this isn’t getting more love. I think it’s different, dynamic, beautiful, intoxicating. This is, by far, my most highly complemented perfume. There is nothing else like it. I’m obsessed.

Is this worth spending about $60 for a 10ML sample? I've tried looking for a cheaper sample, but I'm not finding one.

If PDM Delina & Xerjoff Richwood had a baby it would be Santal Sugar.
