Kings of Fortune

Is "Middle eastern barber shop" a 'thing'? That is my first thought when I spray this on. #scentitar you rightly say this is Creed Viking-esque.........in the opening but in the dry down the semi-sweet, creamy rose-honey-jasmine-tonka facet completely turns this into a sweet, vintage style, feminine, floral perfume. While it smells very good it's not one I could wear - far too feminine. I notice there are 2 listings for Kings Of Fortune on Fragrantica and this one seems out of step with the description on the Louis Cardin website where I got my sample, which gives the notes as Lemon, Bergamot, Sandalwood, Rose, Honey, Jasmine, Cedarwood, Musk, Patchouli, Tonka. which completely fit how this smells. Update: Ok seriously now, what is going on?! It's a new day and I thought I would give Kings of Fortune another try. I kid you not, this time it is almost a straight up cross between Creed Viking and Roja Dove Oligarch with almost none of the more feminine aspects that were so prominent before. It is now almost entirely sweet, spicy citrus and woods which is totally up my street. I don't know if the sample bottle needed turning a few times or the atomiser had remnants of something else in it and that has now been cleared after repeat sprays but this is now a masculine banger - bright, spicy, semi-sweet woody citrus with a hint of rose. The strength and longevity is already confirmed. Yeah as I'm smelling this now - this is a winner. 👌👌👌

A interesting Composition of Clean Soapiness and an anamalic character with a classic spicy aromatic vibe , like in polo safari. Overall A interesting and assertive scent that is clean and refined. I think this closer along the lines that creed should have followed when they created viking ! Appropriate for the man who has seen a thing or two, likes a little spice and with a strong personality. 5 to 7 hours longevity, fair projection and excellent sillage
