Le Bleu

09. november 2014 I have smelled the whole "Riviera" range and has picked the one, that is the most outstanding of them all - the Blue one. This is a very fresh, green, some sort of simple yet very happy perfume, opens up with a blast of lemon and petitgrain. Quite green and citrusy, bit bitter as well. The petitgrain stays strong through the whole stages of composition, while lemon fades away a bit nd closer to drydown theree is a delicate and incredibly nice rose accord. The drydown features the distinctive vetyver note and it doesn ́t turn into masculine scent at all. It doesn ́t develope much through the stages but stays very much enjoyable on every one of them and has a good sillage all till the end, which is over 6 hours for 1 spray. Very good for the springtime, but not for the romantic mood, but for the bit nostagic mood. While wearing this perfume about a month ago (that ́s when i have purchased it) i couldn ́t help but thinking about the 80 ́s but in the modern way. It doesn ́t feel dated at all (because it doesn ́t contain aldehydes) yet have that vintage smell of the past decade, mostly to itś unusual and not common scent for today. I believe it would work very well on a summer day, better, than most "sport" colognes, because it smells also very energising. I have not smelled anything like this perfume yet, it is very different from the ones that has been released lately and it gets a lot of pluses from me for that. Big bonus is a great sillage and lasting power. I wish they would make it in the bigger bottle, however i am very much happy wth my purchase.
