Les Sables Roses

The problem with writing this review is that I have so so much to say about not only this fragrance, but Louis Vuitton parfums in general. This fragrance is a home run for me, me being the key word. I’m not going to make any ground breaking comparisons in this review like most other people’s review. It’s expensive! Over priced? That’s for you to judge and value is in the eye of the beholder. My mother always says “everyone knows the price, but very few know the value”. This rings true for this parfum. I do not regret my purchase and I absolutely love Louis Vuitton’s refil program. There is so much waste in the world and it’s nice to make a simple, beautiful bottle last. So chapeau to LV. The bottle’s from LV are a beautiful statement. Minimalistic, elegant, charming. It holds well in the hand and looks very sharp. LV got this down and they really shouldn’t be making much, if any changes to their bottles. As well, extra praise should be given to the atomiser. This just feels like love and attention was paid to the finished design. Now, what about the scent? Glad you asked. I have a bottle and I carefully considered (read: thirst’d for a full year) before I bought. I went in at least 5 times to a LV shop to take in the fragrance. It knocked me back a full foot each time. I was in love with this scent the moment I smelled, but I had a few other scents I wanted to try first before committing. This is rosy! A really good rose, but a balanced rose, musk, pepper. It’s bold and wants to stand out. If this fragrance was a person, it would be a 30 year old entrepreneur named Alex. He would run a successful, small chain of hip cafes in New York City that had won the North American barista awards x3 years in a row. Impressive, integrity, charming! You just want to surround yourself with its company and be inspired by the positive vibes. The scent lasts and that rose scent lingers for hour after hour. I found the musk dissipates after 5-6 hours but that beautiful rose just hangs out. On my skin, with my pH, this is not bad and I don’t find it a headache at all. Again, I think this comes down to the quality and attention to good ingredients. Currently this is my go to scent. If I was a pimp, this would be my bottom bitch, and she is holding me down. Overall, I would highly recommend sampling this scent. Remember, its not shy and it has character. It wants to breathe. I can’t tell you how to spend your money, but I don’t feel it’s over priced. Again, that’s subjective and I understand this concern. Packaging: 10/10 Price: 8.5/10 Scent: 10/10 Longevity: 9/10 Sillage: 9/10 Over all, I would give Les Sable Roses a hard 9/10. LV have got the marketing and packaging down, lock down! It’s really tight and I would be slightly sad to see them make any changes at this point. This scent is wonderful. Refills is such a big selling point for me. Chepeau LV.

After returning Louis Vuitton’s Imagination — a blind buy that turned out to be nothing more than an upscale body mist with no presence — I discovered Les Sables Roses. And from the very first moment, I knew: this is something else. Crafted by Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, Les Sables Roses is not about trends. It's about timelessness. It's about walking alone through a blooming desert garden at dusk — where the sand radiates warmth and the air carries whispers of precious rose and oud. At first breath, a refined rose absolute blooms. It's not sugary or loud — it's velvety, mature, masculine. Then comes the oud: elegant, shadowy, grounding. No harshness, no barnyard — just depth. There's a thread of saffron and black pepper, adding lift and intrigue. A subtle ambergris dry-down lingers for hours, grounding it all in quiet opulence. Unlike many rose-oud pairings that go too rich or too sharp, this is balance. LV claims a 30% oil concentration, and you feel it. The longevity is commanding — 10+ hours with a trail that never offends, but never disappears. It projects with discretion, the way a tailored Tom Ford suit commands attention — not noise. If Ombre Nomade is the night — bold and dark — then Les Sables Roses is twilight, warm and magnetic. They're cousins, but not twins. This scent isn't for everyone — and that's exactly the point. It's not trying to please. It's daring you to experience stillness, heat, silence, and elegance all in one spray. Yes, it's expensive. But so is every great escape. Final verdict: If you're seeking a fragrance that fuses Middle Eastern richness with European restraint, that lasts, that speaks softly but carries power, this is it. 9/10. Worth every cent.

I am a rose lover. It's my favorite flower; it's my favorite perfume note; I even love the flavor of rose in macaroons, jams, middle eastern desserts, and ice cream. Of all the rose fragrances that I have smelled and loved over the years, by far this is my favorite one out of all of them. I first smelled this perfume on a random lady at a theater once. It was so intoxicating, I couldn't keep myself from asking her what it was. She told me it was LV rose. Having only that much info from a random stranger, I visited a LV boutique later and asked them about their rose perfume. They showed me their amber colored bottle oud selections. As soon as I got close to the Les Sable Roses bottle, I immediately recognized the smell. I was very excited. However, that excitement quickly faded away when I found out what the price was. I walked out empty handed and heartbroken. Fast forward, 5 years later, having purchased a variety of rose perfumes through the years, I was never fully satisfied. I finally decided that it's time I stop pretending and bite the bullet already. I went to an LV boutique and paid full price. After all those years, several rose perfumes, and hundreds spent, I thought to myself I should've just bought this in the first place. Lesson learned. Sometimes, what may feel like a ridiculous price, is actually worth it, if it means paying a hefty price now, so you don't spend more trying to fill the void later. Best rose perfume in my lifetime.

All right, this is absolutely not what I'm used to wearing and, perhaps my only/first ever rose-oud fragrance. WOW this is such a beautiful introduction to that DNA if you want to slightly get out of the comfort zone. LV is still one to surprise me again, I believe, with new releases but right now this is my favorite one they've put out. It is down the middle of wearability and still uniqueness with a generally known to be cold weather/night time appropriate only. Has good versatility for a guy my age and not offensive though present and projecting enough for me to smell it on myself for quite some time - certainly well over 8h on skin NEVER dominating or being annoying (given I do not wear many sprays). A signature fragrance that, even though I see many saying smells unisex or even feminine, would actually be strange for me (to what I'm used to and the public I interface with) to smell on a woman, even if older. Smells masculine, with this detectable clean spicy rose. Darker if you will, but certainly not necessarily formal - I don't gravitate to this for sporty occasions, obviously! Overall, price I got it for was quite satisfactory and filled a gap in my collection - this really is why I am super intrigued by this and love it so much. Still expecting to acquire Fleur du Desert soon, and quite certain I will try Ombre Nomade soon and enjoy it more than in previous occasions.

LSR One thing i don't hear often enough is the way this perfumer J.C. makes this "watery accord" i feel it in most of his creations. LSR is for me a vast landscape and stillness of mind luxury and calmness A clean rose smell which is simply pleasant, its not overly jammy or sweet. it has this feeling as if you are in a flower shop that specializes in rose and you smell the roses and the water misted on them As a big room, or rather a wide open place I have read the description on the LV website and i instantly agreed with the image of a desert with an oasis, a sort fantasy place Its said that this is a counter part to Ombre Nomade and i totally see this. While ON is like more masculline twilight or night in this vast desert LSR is the sunrise, crispness of morning, hope, elevation. (i think both are unisex however LSR may appear more feminine leaning due to the emphasis on rose) I don't get much oud in this, however i feel that the oud and sort of pepper note is there to create the sense of space and oriental feel. Perfomance is nice i get around 7-9 hours that i can smell it clearly around me it sorts of dance around me with this airy comforting quality. If you smell it up close it gives impression of soap (which i find nice) . In the air its that lovely watery vibe as if there is water nearby or as if you are in a humid place i.e. taking a bath in a steamy bathroom.

Floating on cloud made of roses just after sunset. That's the image that always gets evoked whenever I apply this perfume. This is an airy yet dense rose perfume with darkness around its edges. There's realistic warm rose, with more rose. Just the flower, I can't detect any stems or any other greenness here. Of course there's the aloof figure of oud that chaperones every sniff, but the cool kind that's happy to sit back in silence and let the roses have all the fun. The blend is dark enough to worn by either gender and radiates best in colder months or summer nighttimes. Don't expect magic tricks, the scent doesn't very little to deceive its opening to offer different scents as time stretches, it stays in the world of rose from start to its very distant finish. It will stay on skin for some time and projects above average when I've apply 4+ sprays, so be mindful of your environment when you choose this. It's a beautiful rose perfume with some oud (it's not a typical rose + oud in my view) that's quite linear but it's well made and you can smell there are quality ingredients used here. None of the usual chemical harshness you may get from other rose scents. Worth the price if you love rose if you value a realistic quality depiction of it; probably not good value if you don't.

This one REALLY grew on me. Now I can't stop dousing myself in this. For some context, I am not typically a fan of most ouds out there, or plain rose scents. A friend prompted me to try it and I was extremely doubtful at first. It smelled like this old rose-scented talcum powder from my childhood that I hated, but something about it kept me going back to the store for sprays. What made it click was a sample card I kept in my key clès for a week. Every time I opened my purse, I was hit with a mysterious and seductive, rosy, almost leathery scent. It's both dark and uplifting, which makes sense given the "hot and cold" juxtaposition that the perfumer intended. I couldn't stop thinking about it and gave in. I would describe it as a dry, yet crisp and crunchy rose. I struggle to smell oud in this (maybe because of how it is not sweet at all, and doesn't bring out the oud in the way most "rose oud vanilla" fragrances do, iykwim). Think the rose in Delina without the fruit and sweetness. On me, it actually comes off as light rosewater and I can wear it in the office :D The scent on a beautiful leather-clad woman strutting down the street or getting off a motorcycle -- that is Les Sables Roses.

In a world of endless choices, perhaps paradoxically I like only to own the best two or three perfumes in any one category. In the case of rose fragrances, even fewer are necessary in a man’s wardrobe. In any case, this is the one. Luscious, jammy rose that’s devoid of any stemmy greenness or astringency; just pure, unadulterated spring petals that have freshly opened and in full bloom. You could easily be led to believe this leans too feminine, and if you find that unsettling, then perhaps this isn’t for you. If you are however unbothered by convention, you’ll discover an exquisite interpretation of rose that’s bold yet restrained, while still soft and delicate. Sweet without tipping into saccharine excess, not cloying, and never veering into the candy-like muskiness that plagues so many rose scents. Give it time. It evolves slowly, revealing layers of complexity and secrets that reward patience. Catch a hint of warmth on your skin, and it shifts again, subtle, intriguing. There’s no oud dominance here, nor any of the tired clichés common in rose-oud compositions. If, like me, you seek only the best in class... you’ve found your rose.

There are a lot of ways that oud can smell. To me, here are the main ones I find in perfumes Sweaty oud: this is the type of oud I get with most synthetic ouds. It smells deep and woody, with a tiny touch of wet dog. I get a sweaty oud in les sables roses, although it’s very well balanced. Cheesy oud- I get this in most Oud Assams like silver oud, king blue, and Oud Assam (forgot the brand of that one... maybe Ranya J) Earthy ouds- like Frederic Malle’s the moon. Sweet ouds- these are the very fake and westernized ouds. Found in stuff like Oud satin mood and what I’m wearing at the time of this review (Muscat ormonde Jayne). Barnyard ouds- like in FM the night Band-aid ouds-the oud in oud cadenza and oud maracuja smell like a freshly opened back of dry baind-aids. Les sables roses has a beautiful jammy rose with some inky incense, but has a bit of that sweaty oud. If this had a more natural smelling Oud like in the night, the moon, king blue, or silver oud, this would be a contestant for best Oud perfume ever made. The rose in here is pretty unmatched to me, even compared to some higher quality juices

Wore this at the club and even though I got loads of compliments on it especially from the ladies, a few even said I smelled like a p!mp but in a sexy way lol. The performance is nice, not as good as the Ombre Nomade though. This one lowkey smells better than Ombre Nomade and is definitely much more versatile. Ombre Nomade might smell a little dirty to people at times, but not this one. IMHO this has everything i was looking for in the Ombre Nomade which it lacked. This one is more rounded off, more seductive(the seduction factor on this is way beyond other perfumes, especially if you dress expensive too but preferably not loud luxury), and is may be more dominant than Ombre Nomade. Ombre Nomade smells like it's a wannabe for power and attention, whereas Les Sables Roses smells like an already well established powerful and influential person. Men might perceive it as just another floral fragrance if they smell it on a woman, but if a man wears this, it works wonders, men especially need to grab a bottle of this one asap.

Les Sables Roses is rose rose rose. It’s not a super jammy rose but it isn’t super dry or powdery. I do get the oud and it helps balance the rose that’s in this but don’t be fooled this is absolutely a ROSE fragrance. You can’t compare it to ombré nomads. I have both and they are not the same. The closest fragrance you can compare this to is Initio’s Atomic Rose. Both are sexy. Atomic Rose is sweeter but Les Sables Roses is airy on the skin. Don’t smell it up close but ask the people around you how they feel about it. I’ve been told that it smells heavenly on my skin. It definitely lasts it just isn’t as dense as Ombré Nomade. As a man I love rose and this does just enough to not be too feminine. However wear fragrances because you like it. I prefer this over Ombré Nomade because I can layer it with more fragrances. And I hate to say it but more people enjoy smelling this than ombré nomade. It’s less offensive. If you have the money, buy both. If you want a sweeter more playful fragrance then go with Atomic Rose. 9/10

I honestly can’t tell if my nose has done a complete 180, or if LV tweaked this one a bit. I had a bottle around 2021, and back then it was a high-pitched, synthetic amber+oud bomb on my skin. My husband even asked me if I was wearing Axe body spray while I had it on (LOL). That pretty much killed it for me, so I ultimately sold the bottle. Revisiting it now, though, I’m getting significantly more rose and a noticeable sweetness that I don’t remember at all. The rose feels dark, lush, and almost jammy, while the oud has settled much further into the background instead of dominating the composition. Whether the fragrance changed or my nose did, I have no idea. Needless to say, I fell back in love and bought another bottle. Pretty sure I paid a good $100 more this time around, too (which I dont love). Oh well, the heart wants what it wants.

Very different approach from Ombre Nomade or Nuit De Feu! This is a realistic rose bouquet at the top that gets slightly sweeter toward the heart and then dries down to a really pleasant aquatic woody-musky base. I couldn’t detect any sharp synthetic ambroxan but something in the sillage keeps telling me that it’s there, especially in the dry down. The entire experience on my skin is nothing but extremely pleasant and uplifting - I don’t think this would ever offend anyone. There isn’t much oud, at least to my nose, not much spices either. I appreciate the fact that the rose notes in here aren’t powdery, obnoxious, or just aren’t trying too hard to impress like most other rose-oud fragrances. Les Sables Roses feels really effortless, elegant, low-key, and stylish, which really vibes with me and deserves a spot in my collection.

A beautiful rose- our fragrance. The our is really toned down in comparison to ombré nomade for example and that makes the rose note a bit feminine leaning but still can be easily pulled off on a classy man. Starts as a strong rose scent supported by the deep oud feeling and ambergris. Opens up to a beautiful subtle rose and stronger oud. If you’re into oud smells and are looking for a date signature scent this might be the one for you. Very strong performance. The only problem I have with this fragrance is the rose might be a bit in your face until the dry down; that is the reason I prefer initio atomic rose/ oud satin mood, both the same beautiful rose but mellowed out with the creamy vanilla with the base of oud. I’d recommend you trying them before deciding on a rose- oud scent. 9/10

Perfection, elegance and sophistication in a bottle. For those who want a more smoother ride than her older brother Ombré Nomad. Les sables roses takes a calmer approach. Inviting and calm. A scent that sits you down for a moment to appreciate the smaller, and finer things in life. No harshness or bitterness. A long and relaxing ride from start to finish. Do not be frightened of the oud in Les Sables Roses. She has him reined in and trained well. Perfect for year long daily wear. Recommended 2 sprays in the summer. Increase to 4 during winter. If in a climate controlled environment, 3-4 would be fine. Rating: 10/10 Longevity: 10-12+ Sillage: Room filling Projection: 6+ feet (2M)

Les Sables Roses hands down is my favorite Rose scent. The deep resinous Oud provides sensual appeal that a bright rose fragrance could not. The Rose may be linear from open to close with the frag never evolving but its profile is deep the entire time. Layering with Ombre Nomade has gotten me many compliments. If LV were to ever announce it was being discontinued Id drop everything, stop buying decants and go buy a full size bottle immediately to have alongside my full size Ombre Nomade. Its a rose to wear for an occasion but because its so good I see anything else as lacking. I just got a decant of Atomic Rose and know I wouldnt have a reason to wear it over LSR.

Altering the formula of Ombre Nomade by removing the red fruity side of it and reducing the volume of oud to minimum. Its 95% rose, 4% oud and 1% other nuances. Other nuances include saffron with a crispy metallic side and minimal animalic tones. Although it smells like a rose bomb and everything is synthetic, it has a rich blend. I like its smell when it lingers around the air. The only bad thing is that it's too feminine for my taste. I still wouldn't hesitate to use it. A rose perfume that I will enjoy using alongside with Amouage Lyric Man. Still, it's not as exquisite as SL Sa Majeste la Rose, FM Une Rose or at least Jo Malone Red Roses in terms of rose.

I have been looking for a unisex or slightly masculine leaning rose fragrance for a long time. Came very close to buying Amouage Lyric Man many times but never did. There was just not enough there for me to buy it for some reason. The first time I smelled Les Sables Roses I new it was what I have been looking for. Perfectly unisex, intense rose, saffron and spice. Dries down to a real smelling rose on me which I love. I feel this can be worn year round except maybe the high heat. You can smell the quality in this. Yes it is very expensive and will not go on sale but the materials used in creating the scent and the presentation is great.

On initial application it's Bulgarian Rose + Saffron mainly. The oud takes a minute to settle and come out, with the ambergris lightly following. The saffron fades into the background. This smells elegant, but to me the oud isn't as intense as something like Oud Satin Mood, where the oud is super baby wipe like, or even Velvet Rose + Oud, where the oud is deep and nutty almost reminiscent of a gourmand. Les Sables Rose is less in your face than those scents however. Somehow smells soft and clean as well. It's a good post bath evening perfume. The oud makes this fragrance lean a little powdery. Definitely unisex. Super well blended.

I’ve experienced many rose fragrances, but this stands out as a true oriental gem. The rose here is dark and mysterious—never jammy or syrupy—while the oud adds depth and a sense of opulence. It evokes an image of cool breezes brushing against dewy crimson roses in a palace garden hidden somewhere beyond the dunes of an Arabian desert at dusk. This is exactly how it smells. If I could rename it, I’d call it “الغَسَق” (dusk), as it perfectly captures that twilight atmosphere of Arabian nights. Elegant, refined, and effortlessly suited to a gentleman in a black suit. A true masterpiece by Cavallier.

Your dark, dense, mysterious, ambery ouddy rose. It reminds me of Intense Cafe without the jammy sweetness and coffee opening; it's more unisex for sure. The oud here has a tad of leathery accord to it. Overall, it's bold, dry and oriental, imagine being in a dessert in the Middle East. It's in the same genre as Jo Malone's Velvet Rose & Oud, but they are SO DIFFERENT. JM is more feminine as the rose note is sweeter and leaning towards the jammy rose category. To be honest I like the JM better, because the oud is better rounded by the sweetness from rose (and especially given the price tag).

This is not your grandmothers rose, but it’s definitely for a mature woman. Someone whose taste has grown and appreciated subtlety and sensuality without being overt. This is a signature that can be worn all year. It’s femme fatale without trying.... As you arrive the scent enters the room as well, with a self-assured presence and subtle dominance. This is hands down one of the best roses I have gotten my nose on. While the dna is familiar, it’s its own treasure. The notes are incredibly blended and smooth. Oriental florals are just so nuanced and multi-faceted, and this is no exception.

This scent is extremely rose heavy. Some people compare it to ombre nomade, but it really has nothing similar to that scent, other than the notes on paper. It is a gentle rose that projects well. The oud is in the background and it makes the rose feel a bit earthy and airy at the same time. Definitely not a “dirty” smell at all. Best way I can describe this is imagine walking into a forest on a humid but not hot day. This forest has roses in it. That’s what it would smell like. An airy, soft rose. I definitely recommend this if youre into rose fragrances.

this one is awesome. opens up with watery, crisp, fresh rose that is green and realistic. you can start to detect the oud more as the fragrance dries down but its by no means oud dominant. this fragrance smells very elegant and high quality, honestly its a nice take on rose oud because the rose here isnt the jammy kind. reminds me of oud silk mood by mfk but that one is much more sharp with metallic undertones. the ingredients used here is also much better, and the effect you get overall is amazing. my favorite from the middle eastern collection! 10/10

Out of 50 something fragrance that I own, from Niche houses to Designers and Clones. I now understand that the basic ones with a little edge always work the best, ALWAYS. My Most go to and Most beloved to me, My gf and as a compliment getter ones without an order are: YSL Myslf LV Imagination ADG Profumo MFK Oud Satin Mood Extrait Unique'e Luxury Kutay Initio Side Effect And layering LV Les Sables Roses with Ombre Nomade I know some are very very expensive, But yet my most complimented ones are the first 3 mentioned, Which are Classic scents.

I'm head over heels for this one. I've found my rose perfume for this winter. It is a dry, elegant rose that avoids sweetness altogether. It opens with refined Taif-rose clarity, then drifts into gentle oud and clean ambergris. The trail is understated but unforgettable, polished, confident, and entirely adult. A signature scent for someone who turns up wearing power, not perfume. Think about luxury winter evenings in sophisticated restaurants or jazz bars, silk, fur, wine-red nails and diamonds. Don't overspray. A little goes a long way.

Wow, as simple as this comes across, as a guy it’s my favorite rose fragrance I’ve smelled. To me it smells almost exactly as you would expect a real crimson red rose to smell. Nothing green or fresh cut stem about it, just a dark, sexy red rose. Because it’s so rose forward some guys might shy away from it or feel the need to layer it with something else but I think it would smell amazing on a girl or guy as is. If you’ve been looking for a crimson rose scent without the stems and other notes drowning it out.... Get your nose on this.

This is by far the best rose fragrance I have in my collection and the best one I’ve come across. This is so beautiful. It’s blended very well. It leans more feminine but guys can pull this one off. To me, it comes off as a sweet, jammy rose fragrance with a touch of Oud. It is not an Oud leaning fragrance. So if you’re afraid of ouds or dislike them, this might be for you. Even though I adore this fragrance, I do find it a bit overpriced. But if you’re able to get this fragrance, get it. I highly recommend it.

Absolute perfection. Anyone who loves scents that have a weight to them should get this. The oud is perfect and the rose is just amazing it’s not that rose note you can smell on other fragrances that’s overly sweet or feminine it’s a heavy dark rose in a way that just brings the masculinity in the fragrance. Imo really leans to the masculine side i wouldn’t like this scent on a woman. Love it so much i could wear it on a windy summer evening it would do the job. Best LV there is! 9.8/10

i tested this fragrance at the lv store when i was at the mall, and i took the paper in my bag so i could see how was the dry down , when i tell you guys this was fixed on my skin, clothes and my bag literally smelled like le sable roses for a weeekkkk yall, no jokes im dreaming about this fragrance every day bc is not cheap . but is worth. smells super super expensive and it is, is basically that roses and wood/ sweet and expensive/ my next purchase will be this one

Probably the best Oud fragrance out there. Im middle eastern and ive smelt oud close to a thousand times, from Arab houses to western brands, they all (almost) smell the same. This is a one of the best Ouds ive smelt, the combination (Oud, a very masculine scent, and rose, a very feminine scent) and blended this smoothly is a work of art, I recently bought Midnight Raspberry and im somewhat regretting that purchase, wish I wouldve saved the money for this.

Such a good release from LV. I think that this is better than Ombre Nomade; Les Sables Roses retains the darkness from ON but has the roses that pull through to make a perfectly unisex scent that, in my opinion, is more wearable. Performance is very good, with great longevity and sillage. My only point of contention would be that the price (as with all LV fragrances) is fairly steep, but then again, you get what you pay for, especially this fragrance.

Les Sables Roses is one of the best rose perfume in the market. Natural juicy rose with oud. Oud is not too animalic in opening plus with ttle hint of spicy from saffron. Dry down with ambergris rose still play in background and oud come out more animalic than opening but not too strong. Perfect blended. Longevity around 9-10 hours with 2 hours of good projection. Pricey but worth it. Scent : 4.5/5 Longevity : 4.5/5 Versatile : 3.5/5

Immaculate presentation, as always, from Louis Vuitton. Beautiful, simplistic bottle with a magnetic cap and pressurized atomizer. The rose and oud on top remind me of Montale’s Arabians Tonka, or Mancera’s Instant Crush, but it’s more refined, and much smoother than either of those fragrances. You can tell its high-quality. This is a beautiful cold weather masterpiece from Louis Vuitton. One of my favorites from them. 9/10

Man, someone needs some tissues or saline to clean their d@mn nose (and let me tell you that someone ain't me!), BUT this gorgeous concoction of absolute perfection DOESN'T smell like Rose Amira, not at all!! That atrocious thing that Guerlain threw together is foul! Super synthetic, schreecy, offensive, loud af and for what? Nose assault in a bottle! How are people even comparing Rose Amira to Les Sables Roses!?

Love this scent. It is definitely rose heavy imo, and as a man not something I would normally wear. However as my scent matured this is something I love having in my arsenal and imo is a great fall scent. Late night date, or fall pumpkin picking with the family are times I like to wear this. I’ve the LV dark bottle oriental/middle eastern scents, this is third but again, I absolutely love it

This has the “freshness” or “airiness” that Ombre Nomade does not have. This is beautiful and evocative. I’d say that this one is the “feminine” counterpart to Ombre Nomade. This is a Rose in all its splendor, she reigns supreme and triumphant. The Oud and saffron are there, of course, but in the background. It’s a beauty I hope to acquire soon, being an eternal Rose fragrance simp ʅ(◞‿◟)ʃ

My one true love. It's such a lovely rose scent and is such a multitasker; I wear it to the office to much applause, I've worn it on dates and watched them melt. It's feminine but I'd love to smell it on a man. She's clean when she wants to be. I had a mini panic attack when my sample was gone and found myself craving it. The price is painful, but I'm willing to save up to buy a bottle.

Man, this is a great rose scent. The main accords listed here don't really paint a accurate picture in my mind. When I read oud, amber, warm spicy near the top I'm thinking this is going to be a dark, fall / winter fragrance. That's not what this is at all to me, but rather surprisingly fresh. The sillage seems nuclear, so I have to wonder if some people just go nose blind to it.

Pure sophistication. It's a well-balanced sweet-rose-oud with a touch of leather; easy to wear, projecting but not disturbing. The rose-oud combo here reminds me of Zara rose gourmand, but wayyy more refined and higher quality. The leather note (although not listed) is what sets this apart from other jammy rose and oud fragrances (eg. Montale intense cafe), making it more unisex.

Elegant, demure, graceful and extremely sophisticated rose scent albeit simple. Suited for evenings and nights and definitely suits women better. One spray lasts over a day but due to the nature of it you'd want to be enveloped in this gorgeous bouquet of rose. There's a fullness about this perfume. One of the best roses ever and it has lots of nostalgia !

The best rose fragrance on the market that men can wear, full stop. Spicy, rosey (duh), and the oud are very prominent. The blending is otherworldly. Dark and elegant are the two adjectives that describe this scent the best. The longevity is beyond eternal, 5 sprays of this can get you smelt from 6 feet away after 2 hours. Buy this if you have the money.

This is the fragrance that actually smells “sexy” or “panty dropping”. Rose so deep and mysterious straight from a female smut novels. By pure vibes, its ultra sophisticated rich lady that goes to classical music performances at night. Incredibly enchanting and “sexy” fragrance. As a M21 I would wear it to date nights and to very high end events.

Performance is Perfect! 10+ hours of Longevity with a heavy yet smooth and intoxicating Projection and Sillage. The scent is Magical. 10/10

the review below me why is there a 14 year old wearing this 😭😭😭 I smelt it today, its a sweet rose fragrance in the backgroup of a delecate oud. Had it side by side with Ombre Nomad. Safe to say im never smelling Ombre Nomad every again and Le Sables Roses is just 100 levels above it

One of the best Rose-Oud Fragrance. Rose dominated. Blended with high quality Rose Essence, so smooth! Reminds me of beautiful, classy, rich woman.. Sometimes you don't have to be the most unique one, just classic beauty. Longevity and sillage is very nice. Beautiful bottle too.

The queen of the rose&oud combo. I’ve tried before MFK Oud satin mood but it was too sweet for me. For me, Les sables roses is dark and feminin, yet powerful. Also it can be totally unisex. The rose note is not synthetic, seems high quality. Love it.

Spicy rose oud of very high quality. I’ve smelled some of the best rose ouds out there and this is comparable when it comes to quality and blend. If you are new to rose oud or just love having many like me I would suggest this in a second.
