Noble Cavale

Clean aromatic fruity and woody scent. Clean vetiver and soft lavender and substantial amount of fruitiness from apple grapefruit and apple. Loumari DNA is generally clean smooth and rounded and thus is no exception. I believe the apple is significantly more prominent than the voted notes indicate. This is quite fruity and the non tooth vetiver similar to Perseus. I don’t detect the fir and cypress very much, it’s there just soft and blended into the whole. Lucius has shared similarity but not at all redundant. Lucius is sharper, warmer, almost metallic and slightly sour, no fruitiness, and more pronounced orange blossom. Lucius for night and Loumari for day although they both last all day long with arms length projection.

A delectable aromatic citrus, lightly spiced. Fresh herbal lavender and basil, given a vibrant topcoat of sweet citrus and green apple, plus a sweet & spicy pop of cardamom. Somewhat ourdoorsy smelling with faint green tree notes, grounded by a woody base. Straddles the line between fresh outdoors and savory gourmand. Strong projection for 4-5hr, longevity 8-10hr. Among its siblings, it's sort of a counterpart to Nuage Noir. If Nuage Noir takes the earthy-woody half of Maydan and goes in a different direction with it, Noble Cavale takes the fruity + herbal aspects of Maydan and... well, it just cranks them up to 11. I wish basil was a more common perfumery note, this is really good stuff.

This has started to grow on me, as I work my way through my 5ml decant. I can see the BR540 comparisons: it's quite sweet off the top with a woody undertone. I don't think it leans too far in that direction, however. It's sweet, aromatic, woody and green with decent performance. I don't get beast mode projection, but I can definitely smell it several hours after applying a few sprays to my neck (from a decant, no less). I think this is suitable for all seasons, owing to its combination of sweet and fresh accords. It never gets cloying, and it has enough presence to be noticed in the cold. I'm leaning towards getting a bottle when my decant runs out.

Wonderful fruity fragrance that is masculine and great for any weather really. I mostly get apple with an amazing base and no real grapefruit at all. The truth is I'm disappointed because the ysl could have made something like this and loumari is charging so much money for it. If it was cheaper i'd say grab it but it's a great generic fragrance that I can't justify the price. It's masterfully blended and it's definitely masculine leaning. But as mentioned.....the price....I'll wait until a clone house gets clones it.

This shit hits. Theres a slight funk in the opening, maybe balsam fir or cypress?? Idk, it's like BO, but it goes away after a few minutes and it dries down to this gorgeous effervescent scent. In the same realm as Fragrance Du Bois Lucius, but not a clone. Extremely versatile, worn year round. Another gate keeper.

If you're a fan of Layton, you'll probably love this fragrance too. The blend of lavender, lemon, apple, cypress, and sandalwood is incredibly harmonious and impressive. It’s flawless and truly excellent. A luxurious, sexy scent that you can wear all year round.

I don't get any fresh spicy or citrus note here, but it smells like mild version of Baccarat rouge 540. Great for colder weather. But I still like it!

The initial opening is a citrus scent with a slightly herbal undertone. 15 Min - I am starting to pick up the clean aromatic scent (aldehydic) from the Lavender along with a slightly pungent undertone from the Cypress. 30 Min - To my nose I am still picking up on that minty scent with an undertone of light spice. 60 Min - I am still getting this minty scent with green and slightly spicy undertones. I am also starting to get some of the dry woody scent from the Vetiver. Dry Down - The dry down of this fragrance is a semi sweet and soft woody scent with a sllight sipciness in the background. Performance: The performance of this fragrance is OK and it projects for about 2 feet for about 2 hours. The sillage is also OK as it creates a scent trail of about 2+ feet for about 2 hours. The longevity if this fragrance is OK with it lasting on my skin for about 5 to 6 hours. My rating for this fragrance is a 6.5 out of 10.

This is the first miss in the Loumari collection for me. Not because it's bad per se, it smells great. It's just that the price is too high for such a scent profile. It smells like layering Kalan with ambroxan/Sauvage/Prada Carbon. Smells good enough, it's much more refined than either of the aforementioned ones, but it doesn't really woo me. Later edit: Actually I completely changed my opinion after a few wearings. This is fantastic, even if I still associate it with Kalan + Sauvage.

Imagine if Lafayette Street and Town and Country had a baby.......that's exactly what I get.

Right at the opening, this strikes me as a “blue” fragrance: fresh, clean, and citrusy right from first sniff. There’s juicy, sweet-tart fruit, almost pineapple, a sharp hit of ginger, and a bright, clear lavender. As it settles, it softens into a warmer mix of cinnamon and sweet vanilla, with an earthy lavender beneath. It reminds me a bit of YSL Libre, but fresher, more menthol-herbal, and more masculine, with a slightly bitter note that calls to mind boiled lavender seeds in milk. It’s perfectly pleasant, but that combo of bitter, mentholated lavender and vanilla is so familiar that it doesn’t really excite me.

Smells like a much less sweet BR540 Extrait. Maybe a bit less “dentist office” too.

This smells extremely similar to JPG Le Male Le Parfum, which I don't like.

Had high hopes for this but turned out to be an ambroxan bomb no other notes detected. Pass!!! That’s just me though, try before you buy.

It's giving grandpa's armpit to me. I think it's the vetiver and lavender.

Almost candy-like citrus and apple, and I get the lavender and a distant cardamom and cypress as well. I also get a distant tonka and amberwood in the base This is pretty muted on my skin for some reason and i got good sprays of it on there from my sample. This honestly smells like a designer release. The cost seems far from justified. $100 for 100ml of this might be fair

It's nice. Fresh, aromatic and green in a naturally sweet way. It is somewhat muted on my skin though. Doesn't seem to jump off very heavily. Longevity was so so. More day time wear in my opinion. It does remind me a lot of Rochas L'homme Aromatic Touch. Good scent. Not sure it's worth the $.

I was scratching my head to find what it reminded me, and thanks to you guys I know. Kalan from Marly. This one is more wearable though. Kalan can be quite challenging. I am always looking for fragrances that not only smell nice, but also have an unusual DNA. This one checks the marks.

this is what kalan should have been. this is sooo fresh, so beautiful. basically kalan + ysl y edt. truly love at first sniff. definitely a blue fragrance. hard to explain. tried the whole house, this is the only full bottle worthy so far imo!

Imho it's a nice mixture of PDM Kalan, Sauvage Elixir and Roja Apex EDP!

It smells nothing like BR 540. It's not unisex, it's definitely for men.
