Bois Intense

Just got a chance to sample this today..we got in four from the line at my job & this was my favorite, for a warmer note dominant scent it’s very delicate & soft but still let’s you know it’s there, on me I get a comforting prominent Iris & vanilla with mild spiciness with the amber & incense. Where’s close to the skin but I like it for its subtleness. Can’t say much on the similarity to Dior’s Bois d’Argent as to not having a chance to sample but must say this is blended quite nicely and very enjoyable deff. made it to my wants list.

This is a amber-iris-myrrh oriental fragrance - think Valentina Myrrh and then dilute it to make it suitable to wear all the time for everyone- even if they did it all at once in a 8x8 room. The silage is low - this is a skin scent no matter how much you spray it (please believe - i tried to overspray, body and clothes) but it does last 8 hours. In short, this smells very nice, if you like the notes - you will like this fragrance - it will last 6-8 hours but it will not be beastly. BUT good golly this smells delicious.

I agree this is a skin scent. I like this a lot. At first there is a weird scent when you spray it...almost alcohol like. My next impression is that this perfume blends everything really well. The vanilla and incense stand out a little bit, but otherwise it is a very nice fragrance. It was a blind buy win!

This to my nose is pure vanilla with a touch of smokiness and bitterness that make it more real than all the other patchouli-floral 'supposedly vanilla gourmands' everywhere. If you are familiar with the little plastic vanilla powder vials sold in supermarkets to be used in cakes and sweets (we have them here in Greece anyway), this is exactly what this perfume smells like. Simple, linear, and for what it does it is really good. Its beauty lies in its simplicity. Beautiful non sweet vanilla that you get soft whiffs of even with the smallest amount possible. I have this in sample form so my first spray was so cautional just in case I didn't like it, that I sprayed the tiniest amount possible. In general, I feel that perfumes should not be oversprayed, so yeah, this is a like for me for sure!

I was intrigued by the variety of notes listed, the reviews here, and an interest in trying some more iris frags so I bought a bottle at a good deal. This is a very nice wearable blend of iris. It does dry down powdery but retains some warmth and is not too vanilla forward to my nose. Most definitely not intense.
