Cuir

After purchasing Cedre and Vetiver from the house of LT Piver, I had the opportunity to get Cuir as well. The first time I sprayed this on, I do not know what happened but it smelled bad. Maybe some bad gas bottled up, I have no idea. But the second time showed me what this fragrance is about. And again, as with the other two mentioned, it is another rock solid performance from LT Piver. This is a great entry into leather fragrances. I have smelled Ombre and Tuscan in shops and found them either too harsh or thick. I also have Vince Camuto which is more of a fresh leather. This is straight up leather my friends. Not too harsh or abrasive, not too soft either. It is right in the middle. Solid 7/10. Not a star. If you want to explore the leather based fragrances this is a good place to start.

I like very much this frag, I had write one review for the older edition which had two dancer persons on the label. I'm not found to smell synthetic, I feel a harsh tobacco scent in the opening and I love [ not like :))] - that. Silage it's decent and the longevity more than acceptable. For that I bought another second bottle...to be there.... I'm not an expert to describe the scents, but I recommend to try this fragrance.

Citrus honey and wax... with a very strong start then the story turns into a skin scent... really not a leather perfume, but a very nice association with leather... that's the way i understand citrus, wax and honey... the counter-piece... I can’t fight to feel it constantly on my wrist around my leather watch strap

I read somewhere this was a honey leather and after an hour I understand. You know toblerone chocolate? Those chewy bits and soapy.it’s called leather but for me it’s the horse hair after the saddle is removed. A suede glove over an immaculate ladies hand. It’s not sweet and in no way barnyard but there’s SOMETHING at the back of my throat like coal tar soap. I imagine I will buy another when mine ends. For the fact I can’t liken it to anything else I have.

All LT Pivers pop up often in TKmaxx from time to time. This is the best of them. It smells like a time gone by. In a very good way. Too strong for the office. Possibly too dated for anything ‘day to day’. It smells like this is where it started. Men’s fragrance year zero. Nothing unisex or metrosexual here. This smells like a man. A man in uniform with important work to do. A Russian man. Which may or may not be a good thing as of Feb 2022?

This has a nice leather dry down with a flowery, fruity top note. Smells very classical and inoffensive.
