Figaro

Totally underrated imo. Bought this bc of the bottle lol if I hated it then oh well, luckily I adore it. The sweetness from the fruits smells super realistic and not like some made up sugary fantasy fruit. Doesn’t project tooooo much but I smell it throughout the day. It’s just comforting unique and beguiling enough to keep me interested day after day. I was honestly confused the first couple of days I couldn’t figure out what this scent was trying to do. But it’s damn near my signature scent in just a couple weeks haha. Can’t wait to shower today just to wear it and be held in it’s sleek oily and earthy fig warmth. It honestly doesn’t smell like a perfume but more so like a scented oil you rubbed into your skin. Update: a year later and this scent kinda gives me the impression of a well worn leather jacket that was owned by a man that smelt very yummy. It’s really bizarre how differently I perceive it. Pure leather scent to the core. Hmm the fruits aren’t even that apparent but the way they compliment that oily rooty vetiver is probably how the leather impression is made for me. Figaro is a fragrance that has positively surprised by the sharpness and quality with which it is done. Since the opening that sweet and fruity with a fresh point having figaro, on my skin note apple stands out from all but also foreshadowed plum and fig notes, all very succulent and edible is detected. The aroma is most similar to a dessert, a fruit verbena to which sugar has placed above. It's not cloying but sweet, it has much to do balsamic styrax contributes chord. Note that provide the woods are very important in Figaro, but these are always behind the fruit and the sweetness, feature sandalwood which gives a sweet and floral point, vetiver felt during the final drydown providing a light spot drier and smoked fragrance, but most noticeable is the pinewood that makes the sweetness of Figaro is not cloying or feminine either, the pine point looks good, is very nice and very well adjusted . Duration, good projection, and excellent balance in the composition. Rating: 6.5

Beautiful vetiver, and many and various other gorgeous things - fruit, pine, a little flower, a little herb, a little wood, a little touch of spice, a little bitter, a little sweet, a lovely oily, resinous, luxurious perfume. A very intriguing mixture of things, and I really really like it. It appeals to my love of the eccentric. And I love the bottle. It's stunning. Very strong and assertive, both the bottle and the fragrance. Both are terrific.

An elegant and versatile fragrance. An aura of vetiver and wood q surrounds the opening of plum and fig, the heart is also fruity, delicately spicy. The wood of this composition brings me to something oily, resinous, gives comfortable feel.

Well this opens with a fruity vetiver accord, I'm picking up the citrus with apple a little pine with a big dose of figgy plum all mixed together. This has the fruit of the forest vibe, its aromatic and balmy and the figgy plum is now dominating the show. It's unequal and not the type of scent I usually go for though it is nice. You know those soft drinks that have different fruits mixed together you can buy well that is the vibe I am getting from this. You can smell the apple within the figgy plum mix. I do not know weather to drink it or wear it.lol To sum up a fruity vetiver with a big dose of figgy plum with the scent of a apple in the mix. It's smells more like a soft drink than something you would wear though it does smell good in a fruity sweet way. I get seven to eight hours longevity from this one.

Hmmm I'm not sure how the word "chypre" is coming up. On me this reminds me of my favorite shampoo--lots of synthetic musk with a bit of an indistinguishable fruitiness that gives it a bit of sweetness. It's called Figaro, but I really am not getting fig at all, more like sweet apple with syrupy plum. I don't get anything woody-- certainly not pine. I wonder if this was reformulated?

Sharp citrus opening but then dries down into a nice, slightly sweet, pine/vetyver soft smell. Interesting but too masculin for my taste. Sillage: soft Longevity: moderate

It smells like summer in European countryside. I sense clover and a bit of sage, dry grass and it reminds me of hot sunny days I spent in my grandma’s village

I smell effervescent gin tonic with pine wood and macerated plums. It's bitter, sweet and it has a sort of industrial smell. 6.5/10

Not a fan of this one. Quite sharp and acidic on the opening. The barrage of fresh top notes -grapefruit, coriander and apple in particular- wears down into a rather boring pine and sandalwood, with a hint of figs. Smells a bit like a wooden table after you've wiped it with some "Apple Fresh" disinfectant spray. Not very alluring.

This is the worst release by Lubin👎 not my cup of tea for sure☕️!

نوستالژی دلگرم کننده زمان خیلی کمه طول میکشه تا انجیر آبدار و شاداب و رسیده ی باغی که فیگار و در اون داستان خودش رو آغاز میکنه؛ راهی کومدها و صندوق ها، و خانه های ساده و گرم بشه. فیگارو، عطری از انجیر و وتیور، با چهره ای کلاسیک، اصیل و عمیقه که حس نوستالژیک زیبایی که برام ایجاد میکنه رو، بی اندازه دوست دارم. خیلی عجیبه برام که اغلب عطرای خونه ی لوبین، حس و حالی قدیمی، نوستالژیک و آشنا دارن که در اوج وضوح، کیفیت و گیرایی ارائه میشن و به زیبایی، رنگ و بویی مدرن و منحصربفرد به خودشون می گیرن. فیگارو هم، یکی از نمونه های سطح بالای چنین فضایی هست. سفری به روزای خوب، شبای زمستون، خونه های ساده اما گرم و صندوقچه های چوبی زیبایی که انجیرهای خشک تو اونا نگهداری میشن... انجیر فیگارو در آغاز، آبدار، شیرین و خامه ایه. انجیر خوشمزه ای که با حالت گاهی شاداب و شبنم گرفته ای همراهی میشه. بعد از دقایقی، این فضای انجیری تازه، با وتیور ویژه ای احاطه میشه. چرا وتیور ویژه؟ چون وتیور در این عطر، حالت گیاهی شبنم گرفته و تازه ای رو که در ابتدای کار، پشت سر انجیر بود، می بلعه و حالتی گیاهی اما خشک و دودی به خودش می گیره. این باعث میشه تا انجیر هم حالتی خشک پیدا کنه و در کنار وتیور دودی و خشک، وارد بخش اصلی کار بشن. کلیت فیگارو، با اضافه شدن حس سبز و دودی کاج به وتیور، و رایحه ی میوه های خشک و ملس و گیشنیز خاکی به انجیر، شکل می گیره. ترکیبی یکدست، موزون، انرژی بخش اما نافذ و عمیق و طبیعی. عطری از انجیر خشک و کمی خاکی که با میوه ها همراهی میشه، وتیور و کاج گیاهی و دودی که با پس زمینه هایی چوبی برجسته شدن. رایحه ی یکدست و ملایمی که دودی، اما ابریشمی و نابه. عطر طبیعی و فوق العاده ای از انجیر خشک، صندوقها و گنجه های چوبی و حسی عمیق و آرامش بخش... فیگارو، عطری برای لذت بردن، خاطره بازی، فکر کردن و البته آروم شدنه. عطرای کمی هستن که چنین هارمونی منحصربفردی رو میون احساسات مختلف ایجاد میکنن؛ اما برای من، فیگارو یکی از بهترین نمونه های اوناست. عطری از لذت حضور در محفلی گرم و لمس گرمایی ناب. گرمایی آرامش بخش و مطبوع که احساس قدرت و تجمل فوق العاده ای رو ایجاد میکنه. عطری از شبانه های بی بازگشت و رایحه ای از دلگرمی هایی که با اونا، زمستونو سر می کردیم.... کامنت: م.ع (سایت لوکس بایر (با امکان تست سمپل

Judging from the note pyramid, there's a lot going on in Lubin L'Eau Neuve Figaro. Maybe that's why I'm having a hard time teasing anything figgy out of it at all. To me this creation is extremely well and subtly blended with the finished effect being a somewhat standard aromatic woody men's cologne. The quality of the ingredients seems very good here--on the order of Creed--but I feel that I've smelled this composition many times before with only tiny, nearly imperceptible tweaks to the recipe. Here I find the greenish pine note to be the most dominant, though I do own that there is a vague fruity facet. Others seem to find the fig note dominant, as I expected to, given the name, but I do not. What I smell is mostly vetiver and coriander and bergamot... basically the usual suspects. I would recommend this fragrance to gents who wish to don a cologne which falls into the "expected" range for well-groomed men of means.

I really like this retro 90s style throwback fragrance smells just like my Versace black jeans..... I have half a bottle as I’ve had it since my college days and while I love it and still wear it from time to time on date nites with the wife... I find myself clinging to the last vestiges of it... I found a sample I’ve had lying around and decided to come back around to it (fígaro) and say to myself “wow did I just spray Versace black jeans” and side by side they’re 85% the same... so I think I may buy a bottle and not fret running out of black jeans!!!

This one opens up with vetiver mixed specially with woodsy notes, and when I say woodsy I want to say green pine. There's also a fruity accord attached here given by a not so well distinguished at the beginning but growing through time plum note. Figs do appear in this fragrance but they're mixed with plum like in a drink, and it is a sweet one, not the kind of figs present in philosykos. The drydown is a very pleasant sweet aura of figs/plum wheres the base shows us the vetiver again but here it is embracing a woody accord.

شروعی دودی و سبز که چنین انتظاری رو نداشتم ازش. فضای کلی آروماتیک و کمی میوه ای که رایحه ی میوه سنتتیک و نچسب بود. بستر کار فضای چوبی و سبز و مخروطی هست که سایر نت ها در اون بازی می کنند. اسم کار بیشتر سو تفاهمه و باعث گمراهی. ****************************** scent:6/10 longevity:7/10 sillage:6.5/10 purchase value:6/10 *********** overall:6.4/10

I love Lubin fragrances, but unfortunately Figaro was a scrubber for me. It actually made me very nauseous. Looking at the ingredient list, I loved all of it, but this particular combination just doesn't work. This smells like bitter prunes and fig fruit mixed with a woody-pine resin, that sat for a while and started to rot. Sorry Lubin.

I got one 75ml bottle last year.It smells wood+plum+pine,not that sticky sweet,bringing a feeling of little dark with sorrow. 6.5/10

this smells absolutely the same as Black Cashmere by Donna Karan on me.100% the same.No fruits no flowers only insence ,woods.
