Dulce Fundamentum

It’s sad that some people associate this masterpiece with Bianco Latte. I don’t think they are the same. Similar or common accords yes, they do share but milk chocolate is not white chocolate. Honey is not screechy sugary musk. Bianco Latte to me is an overrated childish perfume that had the chance to become viral on TikTok, and had a good marketing campaign after that. Pure luck. Meanwhile, I appreciate artisanal products like this one right here. It’s velvety sweet and powdery in the opening and then later on in the process it turns into a creamy caramel chocolate. I also detect a tiramisu kind of boozy coffee in the opening. Aromatic, edible, a bit earthy 😋 It is an adult complex gourmand. Not a fragrance for those who dislike sweet scents nor meant for warm days wear. DF screams autumn and winter coziness. Love it and it performs beautifully on skin.

I got this when it first came out, and this has consistently been in rotation and one of my faves! It's literally a chocolate version of Bianco Latte, but without the plasticky note and more well blended. I also love Bianco Latte, but sometimes, it can be a little too much. Dulce Fundamentum is the one I reach for when I can't take the full sweetness of BL, but I still want that DNA. The dark chocolate really tempers the sweetness of BL, and I think the honey, hazelnut, and tonka give it a woody crispness that makes it more balanced. Also, as someone who is very sensitive & picky with musks, I don't smell the white musk in this at all. Such a simple concept, but so well done. I'll keep this in my collection forever.

This is Bianco Latte with chocolate 🍫😋 more delicious version! Soooo delicious. I have both and enjoy them equally. Lumi is perfect for cosy time at home and is easy to wear. BL projects a lot more and is good for wear outside of home. (I first got a sample and doubted if I need both but I managed to get Lumi on sale and I couldn’t be happier to have it)

ooooh this smells like cookies! love it. though not overpowering, overly childlike or too playful as you might expect. definitely a more subtly sweet, mature, unisex gourmand that’s wonderful alone and also practical for layering. yum!

Hyper realistic Gourmand. But dry. Smells pretty much exactly like a bar of chocolate, but not overly sweet or synthetic, definitely worth a try. Also great packaging and the people behind the fragrances are very nice.

It’s a very complex dark gourmand scent. Feel a lot of coffee and chocolate in here. And a bit of rum of something booze. Actually smells like a photorealistic tiramisu! Delicious 🤤

What I get from this is some dark chocolate and hazelnut, it doesn’t smell as I was expecting it to. I thought this would be a delicious, creamy, realistic milk chocolate, but instead it’s a chocolate perfumy scent. For the price it’s definitely good value. I ended up selling my full bottle of Dulce Fundamentum. I like it, but it’s not a “love”. I much prefer Jousset Le Gormand which is the completely realistic scent of Ferrero Rocher or Nutella, without the perfume smell. Sugar Kisses by Lorenzo Pazzaglia is more of a cocoa butter scent, rather than a chocolate. Now that I’ve owned it for a while, I can say owning both wouldn’t have made either redundant. They are both very difference scents.

It's good. It's a grown up dark chocolate and hazelnut gourmand with a certain smokiness, and not too sweet. It's easy to compare it to Bianco Latte, but in all fairness they are quite different. BL is way more creamy, more potent and more sweet. I guess it really depends on each person's preferences, but for me this one under-performs when compared to BL. Price is similar, but performance-wise this doesn't really live up to its hype, at least on my skin.

Reviewing a sample from 2025. Dulce was launched in 2024. Ferrero Rocher chocolate hazelnut truffles in the form of a fragrance. This opens with solvent/nail polish remover which dissipates after a minute followed with sweet chocolate and subtle hazelnuts. Musk/amber/vanilla dry down similar to Bianco Latte as the chocolate accord fades. Quality-good Unisex Performance- stays close, average longevity A very sweet chocolate gourmand which settles into a nice cozy musk amber dry down. Interesting to experience if you love gourmands .Too sweet and edible for me to wear as I struggle with both sweet and gourmand fragrances. 7/10

I haven't come across this brand before and I was gifted a sample to try by a friend. The name gave a clue that this was a chocolatey gourmand fragrance but I went into it without checking the notes. This is a grown up chocolatey gourmand - the rum and nut notes definitely make this a darker - fragrance its sweet but not sickly sugar sweet the chocolate note is prominent in this in a rich Hershey chocolate way not Cadbury if that makes sense - to those who love chocolate I suspect it does. I am not sure that this is a fragrance for me but I have enjoyed wearing it today.

has a vaguely dirt esque note. the chocolate is more bitter than i was expecting, but if thats what youre into, totally cop this. was expecting a milky kit kat and got bitter dirt chocolate with a slightly cocoa butter dry down. not very sweet, definitely elevated and mature. i dont really get much vanilla or candy sweetness, more of a deep chocolate.

Plasticky and odd first few seconds, then comes some milk chocolate for like a minute or two. Dries down to Bianco Latte. It's basically a Bianco Latte dupe to my nose. I love BL but I don't need 1234567 versions of it. To bad it could have been great if it smelled like all the notes.

To me Dulce Fundamentum smells most prominently of chocolate, that is clearly the stand out note without a doubt, definitely giving that Nutella vibe with the hazelnut. The notes I pick up most are the chocolate, hazelnut, honey, tonka, and rum. I’m not really getting any cotton candy from this and I wouldn’t say it’s caramel heavy either. Dulce by Rosie Jane is kinda similar just without the overbearing woods. Or Sugar Kisses by Lorenzo Pazzaglia would be a closer comparison than BL imo We really gotta stop labeling every new gourmand fragrance with shared notes to Bianco Latte a BL dupe. I know we all smell things differently and pick up different notes, but I’ve sampled a lot of “this smells exactly like Bianco latte” fragrances lately and I just think these fragrances stand on their own and have facets to them that separate them from being a BL dupe, even if they do share some similarities.

Dulce Fundamentum is a deep, rich gourmand that feels more complex than a lot of sweet scents. It’s very reminiscent of Bianco Latte but with added chocolate and hazelnut, which gives it a thicker, more indulgent feel. The caramel, chocolate, and hazelnut come across smooth and slightly syrupy, but the cotton candy adds a light, airy touch so it doesn’t feel too dense. It’s strong, long lasting, and definitely more of a statement scent.

I really like this! It’s very close to Private Mood’s Cotton Candy with a boozy opening, but maintains the airiness of it as well, and a Bianco Latte dry down. I don’t get too much chocolate, I sort of see the Sugar Kisses comparison but it’s not nearly as cloying. Longevity is about 5 hrs. Not a necessity in your collection if you have either or, but I bought a FB.

G O R G E O U S ~~> The quintessential CHOCOLATE perfume by which all chocolate perfumes should be judged (who am I to judge?). I've layered it with nearly everything I can think of (ROSE perfumes, especially) and it creates masterpieces. 11/10 ~~~> Mr. and Mrs. Lumi...if you're reading // listening this ~~~> I need more LUMI perfumes in my collection.

this is a gourmand lover's dream come true - a blend of sweet and edible scents, but doesn't smell like a bath and body works spray (no shade to those i have an embarrassing amount myself lol). the chocolate, hazelnut, and caramel notes make it stand out from the typical vanilla-heavy gourmands

The opening is chemical solvent. I am thinking lacquer thinner. Fortunately that only lasts two beats longer than it takes to say WTF. Then chocolate milk with a shot of rum. After a time this gets a little powdery, which is nice. If that appeals to you give it a shot.
