Abiba

I decided giving this fragrance a try as its stunning bottle and name caught my attention. It opened with fresh, incredibly lovely, green and earthy notes. I was on my way home and rushed to catch my train. When a little later two women sat near me in the carriage I overheard them discussing what a nice, awesome scent they caught a whiff of, so Abiba was an immediate YES. It dries down to a bubbly and long lasting mixture of vetiver and frangipani (at least on my skin these notes dominate). I can't wait to try it again and experiment with its tones in the spring and summer season whenever I get to be around my favorite Lush store.

I LOVE this scent I smell sugary lemon tart plus spicy aromatic green crushed herbyness longevity / sillage are both not great but the clean floral top notes are worth the reapplication

I signed up on fragrantica for this perfume because it made me realize that I would love to wear more unisex/male leaning perfumes and also really like that on other people. If I wear them I just don't feel like myself though. Abiba starts very woody and quite masculine on my skin. I am getting tropical flowers and some creaminess only after more than one hour. At that point is really lovely and quite sensual. Since Abiba does not really project on my perfume eating skin and does not have a lot of longevity, I need to reapply at that point which makes me get the woody opening again. I did not smell any smoke and the perfume appears quite sophisticated. I could imagine an architect or curator of modern art exhibitions wear it. Interesting but unfortunately not for me.

its quite Frangipani forward, and the ylang ylang gives it a really nice touch,, there used to be one of those flower trees in my highschool and i used to pick them with my friends and put it in my gay hair. the slight bay leaf spice is a nice tough but it didnt take me long to lose interest in it

I really like this one. It’s in the same ballpark as Breath of God and 4:20 for me. Sweeter, more floral and fruitier than BoG and far less smoky than 4:20.
