Avocado Co-Wash

Smells like mouth-watering lemon pez candy!! Unfortunately, to my nose this completely disappears within an hour, even 30 minutes. But, that gives me more reason to drown myself in this fragrance. It's so bright and refreshing, zesty and sweet, but not nauseatingly sugary or warm. I love it so much. My friends love it so much on me. I would drink this, huff this, if I could. It's amazing. It's reminiscent of the lemon note in the original Super Milk hair primer, but amped up to the max. My friend's mom once gifted me a box of lemon cookies and on the note it said, "women love lemon." That is all I can think of when I spray this. Certainly, women love lemon, I am women. It just makes me so happy smelling this. My only wish is that it lasted longer. Although, where I live, the summers are ungodly hot and humid, so that may affect this fragrances performance. I'm eager to try it out in winter to see if the lasting power is longer. In any case, I love this fragrance, despite its flaws. Love love love. 10/10 for me based on scent alone.

Hello! This is my first Fragrantica review, hope it's helpful! Avocado Co-Wash is truly lovely. It's really fruity and fresh; i've had compliments from it for a few days and I had only sampled it once in store. I think that Lush have a really good selection of fragrances for those wanting lower budget fragrance options. Avocado Co-Wash has a wonderfully refreshing, sherbet-y smell that transforms over time to be a little less citrus-y but still sweet, warm and sparkling. I think it balances freshness and sweetness very nicely. It smells exactly like the hair product, and boasts an amazing longevity - due to the fragrance being glycerine-based, its longevity on skin is decent, and its longevity on clothing has lasted over 5 days while still boasting moderate sillage. Not bad! Overall, if you're looking for something refreshing and yummy-smelling with excellent longevity, Avocado-Co Wash has got you covered :)

I am so unbelievably obsessed with this body spray. I blind bought after reading some reviews because I wanted to have more citrus/fresh fragrances for summer, and oh my GOD I'm so glad I did. I personally don't smell the cotton candy some people pick up on; to me this smells EXACTLY like lemon drops/sherbet lemons and I love love LOVE it. It's so incredibly zesty, sharp and sweet - I've been wearing it every night after showering since I bought it and it makes me smell so clean and fresh. Longevity is around 6-8 hours for me, and sillage is fairly good - somewhere between moderate and strong in my opinion. And the fact it's both fairly affordable and only a body spray impresses me both with the quality of the scent and the strength. Not to mention you'll only need 2-3 sprays of this for it to be noticeable. Absolutely going to be buying more of this once I run out.

I despise supermilk, it smells like rancid cinnamon-clove-coconut milk on my hair and my skin, very offputting, I expected lemon creamy oat milk but end up with rotten grandma cinnamon cookies. But since people said ACW is the lemony version of super milk, I gained hope and said screw it, I blind bought ACW body spray and it is all ever wanted from supermilk! It is lemon candy, not tart sour smell lemon, just lemon candy, it is not gourmand per se but eventhough it is lemony, you can smell a bit of weight in it like almond milk smell so it is a bit creamy lemon candy. The sillage is moderate but longevity is beast for body spray, it stays 5 hour-ish on skin before fading and more than 8 hours on clothes! Comparing other body sprays' price like SDJ or Phlur, I think Lush body spray is more worth it than those considering the juice quality.

I got this because it smells really close to the Curl Power scent. I like that it's not so heavy on the sweetness like Super Milk. Mind the green note someone mentioned, there's a hint of fresh spicy to it that's not present in Super Milk (and imo why it sets it apart) and it might be because of the bergamot. Smells like sweet citrus rind, I guess this is the litsea cubeba, and I'm still training my nose to the frankincense but there's definitely a depth to it that's different from gourmand vanilla sweetness. I would like to try and combine this with something to make it more creamy scent to better emulate the curl cream, but without changing it much. Regardless I can't wait to use this on a hot hot day to see how it performs. So far it's way more pleasant on warmer spring days.

When I win the lottery I will fill a bathtub with this spray and dive in. My head will explode from the pure pain of the headache that this will induce and I will die instantly, however, that is my ideal way to go. so long as you are very careful, this is a wonderful scent. I use it as a "room spray" on my closet and let it stay on my clothes to die down a little over the course of the week, and it still lingers and is very noticeable. It is a delicious spicy and sweet citrus that is just too strong. It's like some kind of masochistic addiction. It WILL give me a headache, and I WILL open the bottle and stick my face into it. If you want this smell but a little more subtle, Paul Mitchell Shampoo 2 is just that (and the lush co-wash this is named for) I might drink it one day.

I love this stuff. It has great sillage, especially for the first couple of hours. I've been in stores and heard multiple people saying the room smells like cotton candy and i'm secretly grinning in the corner. For those of you curious to its likeness to "super milk", I will say it has a similar feel, but obviously missing the creamy aspects super milk has. The body spray is still quite sweet in my opinion, but in more of a fruity way, not so much in a vanilla dessert way. I've been told by employees at Lush that if you layer this with LTGTR spray it will smell pretty similar to super milk if thats what you're goin for :) I also voted this as a summer and spring scent, but honestly I just wear it whenever I feel and I encourage others to do the same lol

Lush is truly addictive. This latest obsession all started with the solid hair wash/conditioner. I could not stop smelling it. Once you get hooked on a scent you can’t stop. This one reminds me of Love. Love is more lemony and floral and this one is more creamy, custard, rich, edible, fizzy, key lime pie with a yummy sweet graham cracker crust. It’s so good it makes my mouth water. Between this and Love I’d have to say this one wins for me. I need to stop with Lush before I buy the whole store. I have to say other than Lust and Flying Fox this is my favorite Lush scent so far. I also love Rose Jam and Yog Nog. If you want to smell like a lime pie buy this before it’s discontinued.

I love this scent. It was my signature scent for a long while. Working at lush I picked up a lot of different body sprays, and this one I'm just addicted to. It smells like a fancy lemon meringue. You can practically feel the crumble. I wear it to university, I wear it to the movies, I wear it to concerts, I wear it grocery shopping, I wear it to visit relatives, I wear it to grab dinner. I think it's an incredibly versatile scent. That being said, it's controversial. I think it smells incredible and generally fits in in any environment, but I've had some people complain that it smells "strange" in a way they can't describe, and my mum is insistent it sets off her allergies.

i absolutely loooooove this scent !!! i tried it on in store and originally wasn’t going to buy it because i didn’t like it at all- i thought it smelt quite medicinal on my skin, but it was likely because i sprayed too much in one spot. i DID buy it and when i wore it at home after the shower every day i really really started to like it. it starts off as a very strong citrusy scent which i adore, and then its dry down is wonderful. it really does end up smelling like a lemony dessert on me, quite sweet and creamy. i think that for its quality, the price is very reasonable and if you are thinking about a fragrance like this, avocado co-wash is for you !!

This is really nice! It’s a sweet, citrusy cream type of scent. This isn’t like other Bergamont heavy fragrances. It reminds me of the lemon cake from Starbucks just not as cakey and dessert like. Or like a lemon cream pie.. just not as warm. I would say this is somewhat cozy because it has that desert aspect to it, but not like a vanilla cookie or musk type of cozy. Just a fresh fun type of cozy. I wish they could have made this even more creamy though. It’s quite similar to the leave in conditioner lush has called super milk. This is probably my favourite scent from them.

This smells EXACTLY like those marinos lemon italian ices. Its sweet, refreshing, warm, and very citrusy without it being too obnoxious. On skin and clothing, it begins to smell a bit more like a lemon pastry whilst still having some of that freshness. I bought lush's curl cream and loved the scent, found out it was avocado co-wash and now im obsessed! I love using these two as well as a lemon massage bar and the longevity and sillage is insanely strong. Wouldn't describe it as a gourmand but it is definetly sweet in a refreshing summer fragrance way. Love it 10/10

This is a gorgeous lemon fragrance! If you like des cool taunt this is so similar and layers beautifully together. It starts if very citrusy but dries down to a soft citrus candy with some warmth to it. I love Chelsea morning as well but that one has toffee butterscotch notes that this does not have and I associate it with the fall / autumn/ winter season. This one however can be worn year round but I’m especially loving it for spring and summer. 10/10

A must try for Lush lovers. I can’t get enough of this... A gorgeous citrus (bergamot). I also get the incense-y undertone that is signature to a lot of lush scents. I am picking up on a pretty dominant scent of brown sugar. Not too sure where that is coming from. I am finding this very comforting over the winter, but this could be worn year round. I’ve been layering it with my Lush Karma lotion and the combination is so good.

Oh myyyy. It smells like Lemon ice cream. Or lemon pie. Or something lemony but very sweet. I do get a bit of medicinal feel if I smell it close to my skin - not a bad thing at all though, just makes the scent more interesting. Really amazing for summer, when you want something bright and not heavy. It does have quite a strong sillage though, but the scent itself isn't "heavy". Just amazingggggg I love love love it.

I originally fell in love with the solid shampoo of the same name, which smells so good I want to eat it (I didn't do it but the thought was there, lmao). This does smell exactly like the solid shampoo, however after awhile its very vanilla-y and sadly SADLY starts to give me a headache. I still try to wear it, but maybe I'll save it for winter to see if that helps with the headach aspect T..T

My favorite summer citrus smell! It's gourmand leaning, and layers so well with other summer scents like coconut or strawberry. I do not like overly sweet smells but ths is a fresh sweet smell that does not make you walk around like a baked good. Safe for my hospital job and has ok projection and sillage. The citrus zing with the amber note is a chef's kiss.

So citrusy in the initial spray, then it turns basically into super milk :) which I love! The dry down is so nicely candy-sweet. Has great projection and lasts 8 hours at leastttt. Stupidly beastmode body mist lol Definitely get bang for your buck since you shouldn’t spray more than 2 spritzes on. Safe blind buy if you already love super milk :)

Delicious, candied lemon pie ! I love it. It has some tanginess and some zestiness that makes it very energising and refreshing ! I love it so much and I can’t wait to wear it in summer though it is suitable for any season. Strength is very strong and so is the lasting power. Lush body sprays are a dream to wear !

This is THE Lush scent to die for! Zesty, sweet, tarty but not cloying, super persistent and with a similar dry down to Nishane's Ani. Nice additional feature: it's a delicious and very effective mosquito repellent: a major game changer in summer. Gotta be one of the best cheapies in my collection!
