Big

The way Lush's forum scents work is that, once every year, Lush puts a list of their stuff up in a poll for the forums to vote on - the most popular scents get released as fragrances you can buy for a weekend. Last year (2012) Big was one of the top choices again, so I bought one. It smells exactly like Lush's shampoo with the same name. It's a great shampoo, too, just sayin'. Anyway, Big is very straightforward; it doesn't change at all. I find the notes interesting. You can't really notice them separately. I can kind of catch the orange flower, but it's blended together really well. It honestly smells like an entirely new thing. Like a really juicy, sweet fruit. I honestly feel like I could eat it. It'd be delicious. It's fresh and juicy, great for summer, but it's actually pretty strong. I'm not sure how long it lasts. I would highly recommend trying it before buying it.

This is one of my favourite 'Forum Special' scents from Lush. It's just sooo good! I've got 3 bottles stashed! I boughr one a few years ago and was lucky enough to buy two more last summer in the Gorilla Perfumes pop up shop in Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival :) I sadly cannot use 'Big' shampoo as my hair is naturaly curly so it's way too drying and volumising with the sea salt, so i'm glad i can get to smell like i've used it when i wear this fragrance! It's like a trip down to the beach in summer.

Smells exactly like Big shampoo from LUSH, straightforward and good lasting power. It's quite a unique scent with a soft, sweet, salty citrus aroma. It'd be perfect as a sea salt hair spray scent. Big is a tropical beachy scent without relying on the typical coconut/suntan lotion notes. The salty beach and warm sun in a bottle! :)

More herbal than expected, in the usual ugly black body spray. I don’t get vanilla, perhaps an ultra bitter neroli. I thought it would better directly on the skin, needing to be warm, nothing to die for, but easy to wear after a relaxing shower? Same thing for SexBomb from Lush (Don’t be scared by the name, i’s just bitter Ylang Ylang and not in the database yet) Ed: after using a little bit, I must say I don’t like it. It has a harsh rotten hay smell, sorry for the bad review, but it’s such a disappointment. Nothing clean or soapy, nothing even green or natural. No flower, no vanilla. Just an agressive repellent spray. Unbearable for be as a fragrance, even if the shampoo can still be interesting.

(Review here is for the Body Spray) Well they just discontinued Flying Fox and I needed my monthly "LUSH fix" so I chose BIG. It's a nice citrus vanilla and at this point -- everything from LUSH is smelling like they used the same 2 or 3 bases - so it makes it east to "move on" from the last candy-coated ding-a-ling thing they discontinued! LOL. This is pretty strong and lasts a long time! If you like Snow Fairy -- you will like this . If you like Rose Jam -- you will like this . LUSH seriously needs to make a body spray of KARMA to save me some money and keep me over-paying for small glass bottles of it.

I have always loved the shampoo, but can't use it much as it dries out my hair. I just found out about the fragrance and am bummed that I didn't get to try it while it was around. Lush Kitchen is the only way to get it I suppose, but they haven't made it again.

I beg to differ from the review saying if you like rose jam or snow fairy you'll like this. I dislike those but love this. Its orange at first and drydown is a sweet vanilla like floral, almost makeup smell. Beautiful!

I LOVE the scent of Lush’s Big shampoo and I just wish they sold this perfume in North America. I’ve tried and also own many, many ‘beach’ fragrances and I would give them all up for a bottle of Big.

I tried this because I was told it was a good ocean water scent, but nope, there's no seawater here. It is pretty though, as an orange blossom sunscreen sort of scent.

I adore this scent - so light and easy to wear. Its great in summer for sunny days out. I plan to wear a spritz of this to an interview as its so light and pleasing.

Just so you know (again!) it's the fragrance of a volumizing shampoo from Lush. (and it's smells really great!)
