Vanillary

i genuinely think you could wear this whenever and wherever and still find a way to justify it. it’s so good. it smells amazing. it’s just a little gothic. thank you lush

whats crazy about this one is it legit lasts longer on my skin than expensive perfumes i was gifted...

Got it as a sample and, while it's not for me, I have to admit it surprised me in a good way. It has a wax, almost crayon-like smell that I did not expect, but can't say I dislike. The vainilla is very straightforward, but I like how the jasmine adds a bit of edge to the scent. While it's sweet, as vainilla scents are, it's not exactly the sweetest, and leans more into a more powdery, waxy vainilla.

This "smells nice" and isn ́t offensive, but projects with strength of a vanilla lip balm of some sort. Barely can smell it after three minutes. Packaging is great, I expected more of a "gourmet" vanilla, this is quite cold and not too feminine. Not a bad thing to have in purse, but def not gonna repurchase. Not worth it.

Yeh it’s going to be a no for me. I don’t like this kind of vanilla and it’s weak on its own. I use it as a layering balm for another vanilla perfume. Will not be repurchasing

It's good, but also kinda forgettable. I don't reach for it very often. Kinda makes me think of pastry but earthier. Discreet.

i bought this back in 2021 and it smelled DELICIOUS. the best way i can describe it is a warm, cosy, intimate, vanilla that has a slight "your skin but better" aspect to it. however, i recently went to lush and smelled it again and it smells absolutely nothing like it did when i first bought it :( i'm not sure if they changed it or something but i was so disappointed because i was so in love with it and i was planning on repurchasing it to make it my signature scent but it just doesn't smell the same anymore. the vanilla note was way more prominent in the one i bought back then, whereas now i feel like the jasmine note is the overpowering one. so unfortunate 💔

okay I actually love this perfume and am very close to having it be my signature. I know it’s not the spray and ppl have different views on how complex / real solid perfumes can be but whatever. usually when it comes to Jasmine notes they smell like a dentists office to me, but this one is blended beautifully and I get no coconut notes like what others are saying. This perfume is creamy at first but then turns very light, like a breeze. It’s bright and green and comforting, reminds me of Florida summers on the backroads near my parents home.

I had tried the solid version of this in store and liked it but did not purchase. Tried the spray version another time which was lovely. Went back eventually for the solid and I'm not sure if it's this particular batch or what, but this smells very coconutty. I get Rafaello chocolates from it?? It's odd, in the sense that it's not what I hoped for, but that's not to say I do not like it. It's comforting.

Goes on smelling on bees wax (fair) and dries down to a beautiful honey, soft patchouli, vanilla and tonka. Some may experience low longevity but it lasts 2-3 hours on me and makes a great base for the Vanillary spray, The Bee's Knees, Chelsea Morning. It feels like a hippy version of the gourmand vanillas you see from designer brands. Very natural, very enjoyable.

it's okay? i didn't expect it to be so different from the spray perfume. imo this lacks the original "warmth" which is probably because of how prominent the jasmine note is. honestly i found the scent a little nauseating, but it might just not be suitable for hot weather. it might be better as a fall/winter scent so i'll have to wait until then and try again :')

im starting to enjoy the sticks a bit more than the sprays, the tonka and jasmine are more noticeable later on but still dont overshadow the waxy sweet vanilla . i really like putting this on before amber resin or monoi for something a bit more complex .
