The Bandit

Never owned or smelled Aventus but I’ve owned couple clones of it. This actually smells the best outta the clones I’ve had and smelled just on its own. But it has a bit of pungent-ness to it and I assume it’s from the oud. My nose isn’t great at picking apart individual scents and I can’t really discern oud all too much in it but I think it adds to the overall character this stuff has. This is a little bit linear it doesn’t change all too much but that does not really bother me. It quickly rose to one of my favorites and that’s saying a lot because previous Aventus clones I just couldn’t care for too much. I’d say this is good for slightly cooler weather and a variety of occasions. Could be a good signature scent cause it gives off a great masculine first impression on people. Longevity is good 7-9 hours. Sillage is quite strong in the first 2-3 hours as well

Wow wow wow!!! Just tested this, smokier and sexier Aventus! First spritz reminded me of Prince, which I have an immense love/hate relationship with; the cloying of the scent was bothering and the apple notes just irks me so bad. BUT THIS... THIS IS IT! And it's really really cheap to in comparison to the quality. I think I may have to buy a full bottle soon!

This fragrance is actually Swiss-made, according to the box. Packaging materials made in UAE. Fairly high oil concentration. Not quite Hawas Black level, but, I would say over 20%. No mention of alcohol concentration on packaging. Have my bottle sitting out to mature for a bit before I comment on scent/performance.

If you added Oud to an Aventus clone, this would be the result.

I enjoyed Luxodor’s Ottoman collection, but this one is just awful. I was expecting more fruit...something more adventurous and crisp. All I got here was burned birch with leather. Maybe some faint ambergris in the background, but that’s where it ended. No oud to be found here. Unfortunately from my vantage point Bandit is a harsh and brooding linear scent that feels about as generic as it’s name. This is what a satanist would wear to a black mass.
