L'Alchimie

Featured Notes (from LVNEA's website): blood orange, red mandarin peel, rose, fossilized amber Soft orange and floral notes. A delicate petal cupped in my hands. A touch of vanilla. I find some floral perfumes too heavy and cloying but L'Alchimie is so dainty and pretty. I don't really get "rose" from it, I would have guessed some sort of white floral. It has quickly become my go-to daytime Spring scent. Inoffensive and easy to wear, but not boring or basic. The dry down is heavenly. Becomes a skin scent fairly quickly on me but I don't mind; I think it would be kind of jarring for such a delicate scent to be beast mode.

Idk if my nose just isn't trained enough but the notes seem so indiscernible to me. I bought a couple samples around Christmas and this one is my fave. Light, aromatic and very comforting somehow.

Really lovely amber spicy citrus that smells dark and warm. To me the orange smells like dried peel in potpourri, and the florals (maybe jasmine and ylang ylang?) read more like nag champa incense than cut flowers. The amber warms it all up, so the overall effect is a steaming mug of mulled wine (minus the wine itself). It’s a fantastic fragrance that feels sexy fresh & mysterious, but I wish it lasted longer. Even the drydown will be gone from my skin in a couple hours. But it’s a great scent to put on before spending the evening drinking red wine and reading with a couple votive candles burning. I love the crystal rollerball too!

Very vintage smelling heavy floral and orange scent. Not bad but not my style...

This, on me, reads as a ylang ylang heavy floral blend with a vanillic drydown.
