DesirToxic L'Intense

I love the original so I couldn't wait to get this one as well. The first thing you notice shortly after spraying are these fruity, fresh slightly cool blue notes similar to a modern fresh but slightly sweet shower gel type fragrance like Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. After the opening something spicy like cinnamon and cardamom come through just like how the original does and it will definitely remind you of YSL Opium Pour Homme for sure. but also The shower gel freshness remains and doesn't fade. In the drydown. Which for me has the most gorgeous "shaving foam" note so far that I know of in fragrance. The only other fragrance that I know that has that same not is Margiela At the Barber's. Sexy, sweet, with a touch of freshness and very masculine. Like the original you could also say it reminds me of one slightly of Layton or Sauvage Elixir, but honestly to me it is very minute and this fragrance smells far better than either of those. I actually smell a slight resemblance to one of my all time favorite fragrances Killian Intoxicated. It's really beautiful fragrance for sure. Now here is what makes it so much better than the original. The performance. The original doesn't project much and stays close to the skin. This one is exactly the opposite. Nuclear performance on par with Sauvage Elixir. You only need a couple of sprays.

The new M. Micallef Desirtoxic Intense has replaced the sharp and distinctive notes of the original with a smoother profile, unfortunately to its detriment. The new version lacks the original's impressive sillage and longevity. In my opinion, the original Desirtoxic, with its more pronounced sillage, is better suited for the morning, while the new intense version is probably best suited for intimate nights. Overall, the original Desirtoxic remains the superior choice due to its powerful performance. This new intense version? Not so much. Edit: After reviewing the perfume, I realized I had become anosmic to the intense version. Despite this, the intense version performs exceptionally well and is more wearable despite its strength. This is a beautiful creation, and it truly shows. If you prefer something more rugged, go for the original.

This. This one is special. Im a bloke who works on a building site. Desir toxic intense is one of, if not my most complimented fragrance. A head turner. Had various people ask what im wearing. Also fills a room after you left it. Has a peppery, blackcurrent, slightly sweet and dark green note to it. I actually get the cannabis note here as i used to smoke weed in my teens. But its so cleverly well incorporated that it does bot make you smell like a drug dealer. It actually gives this very vivid greeness that compliments the rest of the notes. Honestly. This is a masterpiece. 10/10. M. Micallef smashed this one out of the park.

Desir toxic intense to me does exactly what i want in perfumery, which is be completely unique. Its in its own catagory. Its a dark green, slightly fruity sweet blackcurrent fragrance that has instanely large longevity. I own 120+ frags and this one recieves alot of praise around the people i work around. It is definately not a safe blindbuy. But if you like dark green fruit frags. Please sample this one out. Also the cannabis note here, you wont smell like a pothead. Its just a background note that add this unreal greeness to the whole symphony of notes. This ones a special one guys.

The rating of this perfume on fragrantica is ridiculous and made me realize even more that one needs to try fragrances and only use ratings as an orientation. Yet I haven't found a fragrance where the rating is so far from the reality. After testing over 200 fragrances Desirtoxic L'Intense is easy one of the best fragrances ever. Instead I see here synthetic clones pushed to 4.5 ratings. The name Desirtoxic L'Intense fits very well, it is so alluring, unique. Art, niche and very attractive at the same time. Sample it, otherwise you will miss out on one of the best out there.

Whoa, I signed up for a "Blind Buy" Offer from Scent Rush. Basically, you pay $150.00 and they send you one of the M.Micallef Fragrances. I think they offered 5 different ones, GNTONIC, Notorious XO, Ylang in Gold, DesirToxic and DesirToxic L'Intense. I ended up getting DesirToxic L'Intense. I absolutely love this fragrance!!! It is intense, as the name suggests, but the scent is unique and beautiful. I feel like this is good any season any where from a night club to the office, just don't overspray, the silage is off the charts. Overall, I'm thrilled with my purchase.

Might be pricey to buy a whole bottle but when you only need 1-2 sprays maximum lasting the whole day and filling rooms its at a very good value. Love the smell, very unique spicy fresh smelling, you dont really notice the cannabis note unless you know its there and focus on it, then its there very slightly but its not bad smelling at all and actually makes the whole thing better giving it a slight edge. Scent 10/10 Longevity 11/10 Sillage 11/10 Compliments: Yes Price point: very good value considering the strength of it, a full bottle will last you a long time.

This isn't just a fragrance. This is seduction in a bottle ! Desirtoxic L'Intense is addictive, intoxicating, magnetic and oh so masculine. It draws you in, holds you in a chokehold and leaves you wanting more... which you do get because it has great projection and lasts ages! It is a woody, spicy fragrance, with a touch of sweetness and a hint of freshness all blended into a smoothly seductive concoction. I'm totally obsessed with it and love it on my husband. It lingers on his shirts even after they’ve been washed!

I do not understand the hate this fragrance gets here and elsewhere on the internet. I tried DesirToxic and was underwhelmed, but this is far better and a wonderful scent. I purchased decants so I cannot say that I purchased a full bottle; however, this is certainly full-bottle worthy, at least to me. I really love it. Very nice opening but a wonderful dry down. Nice performance with good longevity and mild to above average sillage.

I'd love to hear an explanation about how a marketing team affects the actual fragrance a house puts out. Either the materials used, the perfumer and the creative director are good or they aren't. Period. A marketing plan has literally nothing to do with the juice in the bottle. Either it's good or it isnt. This is pretty good. Who gives a shit if the marketing department sends out free bottles for advertising.

This is a Huge Huge improvement over the og. Just extend the longetivity by 3 times or so. I still smell e drydown on my skin after 8pm after spraying at 7am This morning. No wonder some reviews are raving at it since the og is pretty weak imo. It does give me a similarity and vibe with scents like Sauvage Elixir, Layton Exclusif and reflection 45.

ABSOLUTELY! This fragrance is awesome. Very loud and sharp- the first time I sprayed this on to test it, I was IMMEDIATELY reminded of a drink I ordered at a bar one time... Dark n Stormy! It’s basically rum, ginger ale, and lime juice. If that sounds nice to you, go ahead and pick this up... absolute 10/10

Beautiful, perfect, no mistakes, big bergamot and grape juice opening, citrus and black currant forward, but it endures maybe even evolves, fruity in a way that I like with staying power and depth. I get no cannabis, I don't see it as green, not for warm weather, I like it.

I love it, but it doesn't last more than 5 hours. I really don't know how others say that it's very potent and last 10+ hrs, it's just not true - at least that's my experience. It maybe needs to sit to macerate, but I'm not expecting it to improve. Time will tell.

What an experience! My most complimented fragrance! go light on the sprays, this can be too much if you over spray. once on each wrist and once to the back of the neck is PLENTY. This lasts well into the next day on skin and even longer on clothes.

The dry down! Oh man the dry down! 100% worth the money. Sample this on skin if you can before purchasing.

This is in the same ballpark than Sauvage Elixir, Absolu Aventus, Fahrenheit Le Parfum, Red Tobacco, Tony Iommi Monkey Special, Apex, etc. This is the original DToxic, but concentrated in both sillage and longevity. Eventually you will become somewhat anosmic but only for periods of time, because it is so strong that it comes back. This is not for close encounters AT ALL, this will choke people around you. This is for a pub, a party, a club, disco, barbecue, etc. Longevity: It is STRONG, as in just a couple sprays will last for hours. Projection: You can EASILY have the original DToxic for close encounters and this for when you want to be loud. Scent: I find the original way more pleasant, you can actually smell the rare notes, this version just pushes that WAY too much

Stronger than you! This is powerful AF! Those of you mortals who shall attempt to smell this scent God shall bow before its glory. But take heed as you will suffer unless you keep your distance. You are clearly unworthy! Strong and powerful pepper and it stays that way the closer you get. Use sparingly and watch where it is sprayed so you aren’t subjected to this as the wearer. Not that its bad by any means its just that it really is intense and eventually 10 hours later you get SICK of it. One spray on the back of the neck and walk away and trust it will do the job. Maybe even just a shot on each wrist so that it is down away from your nose. Its that strong!! But its also that good. Be afraid, be very afraid!

Something about this one kinda pisses me off, it feels so pretentious like it’s screaming at you and everyone within a 3 ft radius to be noticed, its not necessarily a stronger perfume than the original but more brash, reckless smelling, lacking this certain nuance in the way the spice melds into the blackcurrant ... current. Way less cardamom way more saffron that I think is pushing this slightly into an Oud for Greatness comparison, but I think the bottle color of the Intense accurately reflects the difference from the original. I liked the latter much more but to each their own, still a good scent but feels designed for dudes who want SEXY, BEAST MODE, PANTY DROPPER fragrances

I just recently purchased the OG DesirToxic and really like it so I went ahead and got a sample of L'Intense. IMO just subtle differences between the two and for me personally it would be too redundant to own both. For the L'Intense the main thing I'm able to pick out is the black currant stands out more, providing a crispier/greener smell (feels like it gives off more of a projection because of this). The og has a slightly more dark-soapy smell. Pick which paint job you prefer and go with that!

The opening I found to be quite harsh but a few minutes in, it becomes a spicy fresh masculine scent. I actually quite like this one although there is something about it that I'm not massively keen on. I'm not sure what it is but it seems to come off fairly low quality comparing to many of the frags I've tried out recently. Perhaps it's a certain note I'm not jamming with. I get why it's a love or hate fragrance but for me it's just in the alright range.

This is a great fragrance, very well blended and you can nearly classify it as ”allround” because it is spicy yet fresh and heavy yet light. But it slightly moves to night/winter/or when you want to be spicy. I have not tried the original yet but this is simply fantastic. I think mine have to macerate for a time before it reaches full potential! But if you like layton/dior elixir or reflection 45 you’ll going to love this one👌

I wouldn't call it a men's fragrance specifically because it can also suit women. A masterful little composition, as are all the scents in the house. I really like the Micallef bottles, they are unique and you can feel the love in how they were made.:) The scent is special and exclusive. Its specialty is the cannabis. But it is nicely combined with the other notes, it is not pungent to my nose.

This is a very nice scent. I just don't know when to wear it. It can be worn during the cold, or warmer weather. It is spicy and nice. It is versatile. I just don't feel like I have a good time to wear it. I think it might work more in the fall as opposed to the spring/summer, but still, you can wear it really whenever.

Putting all the fake hype and fake reviews aside.... This really is not bad at all. HOWEVER, it is in no way shape or form worth 295 USD. This is not worth more than ~150 bucks.

Sharp green fragrance. It projects very strongly on the opening and during the 1st 60 minutes. After that, it's starts to fade away and becomes intimate sillage after 3 hours. I tested during the night only so projection seemed longer. Perhaps the regular DT is better on projection. Big quality issue is that the atomizer is terrible: spray more than 3 times and it leaks. You get juice on your fingers and if you touch the bottle then, the paint dissolves on your fingers. I e-mailed M. Micallef got not reply, the store changed the bottle. However, different batch, same issue. For the price tag it's not admissable really. Bottom-line: projection drops faster than a bitcoin crash after 60 minutes; low longevity (on my skin; but on clothes same thing). Feel like I bought crypto pushed by influencers :((( Update: Following new reviews and after watching robes08 video I came back to it yesterday 16oct2024, 2 sprays in each arm plus 4 in neck area. 1) I share the conflict as other fragcom reviewers, because I did try before I bought, and I liked it enough to jump at 295 euro 100 ml; 2) it did project but no way "beast mode" like curly keeps pushing in a recent video; 3) feeling like the hype pushed me over the finish line I confess, so newbie mistake; 4) agree that the range for this is 100-150 euros; 4) the atomizer still leaks AF.

Head smells like fresh picked blueberries, body goes to green, but not dark gothic green. More like cologne combined with fougere. It's a scent that I've smelled many times before and not just in the last few years. Unfortunately it's no longer a signature scent. Some occurrences are associated for me with better soaps besides cologne so...after about a hour and half it goes into a pleasant sweet variation of flowering conifers, if you've experienced a flowering fir forest you know. Compared to other Micallefum there is significantly boosted longevity, fragrance has no sharp edges, personally I dont get any cannabis undernotes.

Let’s not kid ourselves, this is stronger but the original one is miles better. I even cannot comprehend how anybody can like this more than the original. Blend quality is lower, mint is harsh, there are other strange spike notes. And yes atomizer is trash. I’m so angry to myself that I listened to those so called influencers and bought this instead of the OG. My score: 6.5/10

To me it is just a burning wood smell thats only I get....a big disappointment for me.. I think we all should just watch out for those Youtuber...they get a full bottle free from the company and then they wants us to buy...

Right away you are punched in the face with saffron, cinnamon, pepper, and cardamom. Then the cannabis note hits you next, only this time its tenfold compared to its predecessor. It's basically the original formula with notes dialed up with a ton of saffron and spices. Sweeter, spicier, stronger, thicker, louder... beyond Intense. Almost feels like an Amouage product. L'Intense is for that particular group of individuals that love loud scents and desire attention. It will undoubtedly have its fans but I am not one of them. Has nothing to do with Apex either.

Bleh Bleh Bleh. A lot of fragrances do this better. Not worthy of full bottle.

Loud and harsh opening that dies down quickly to be mid/low projecting but does last 6+ hours. Kinda synthetic/unbalanced. The original is significantly better, smoother, more interesting. Smells like a lot of other recent releases - Sauvage Elixir, Aventus Absolu, etc. It’s a pass for me, for being redundant annd overpriced.

This is just hoerible. It smells like something is burning and then someoke also oversprayed some toilet cleaner nearby. Definitely got the "toxic" part down.

This is PDM Kalan, almost identical, I have both and it clicked right away, so I sprayed Kalan on the other hand. They share the same note which is at their core, it’s unique and weird, it’s haunting and the reason why a lot of people dislike Kalan. And I wouldn’t be far off if I say Amouage Overture has it too, however Amouage did it better in my opinion. I must give credit to Kalan though for its uniqueness, but it’s not something I personally enjoy, even though I prefer heavier fragrances in general, like Amouage Silver Oud and Interlude. Anyways, I need more wearings to understand whether I like DesirToxic Intense, and the bottle might need to sit for some time. This is definitely not a bad one, but I’m not sure yet if it’s worth the money given that for the same price there are more than enough outstanding alternatives. I don’t get the comparisons to Sauvage Elixir, Oud for Greatness/Glory. They also share a very distinct and annoying note (which is found in a bunch of Lattafa fragrances), but it’s not the same note as in DesirToxic and Kalan. However, if you never smelled Kalan, you might perceive that Sauvage Elixir’s note as closest.

I don't understand the hate on this fragrance as well. As always, smelled great on a paper strip from my sample. I was worried when I saw the Cannabis note because I don't want to walk around smelling like pot or I hit a skunk. I was pleasantly surprised that you don't smell it at all. To those guys out there that are worried about that note or that leaf, take it from me, you don't have to worry. This IS GOOD JUICE. I wouldn't buy it if I smelled that pot smell. Good performance. Good sillage and good longevity on my skin . Tested GnTonic( will get that in tester for Spring/ Summer)and that's what drew me into M. Micaleff house. Waiting on Osaito sample and can't wait to try others. This one's good guys !! It's worth sampling, and this one is worth a full bottle. All around could be a great signature scent too. The drydown is awesome.

I have no idea why this fragrance has a 3.69/5, but i’m happy for it, if it means it will fly under the radar for a lot of people. Probably because of the astronomically high price? I’ve got it for around 120 euros, and for that price, it’s fantastic. My only problem with it is that i become anosmic to it and i’d like to smell it on me a little more. But it has great performance otherwise. Same scent profile as all these Sauvage Elixir scents, but with a heavy shaving cream vibe. Very relaxing scent. Elegant, sexy, but easy to wear. Objectively, ignoring the price or originality, should be around a 4.2/5 with fragranticas score, and a 7.5/10.

This is pretty great. Combine platinum egoiste for the smell of classic shaving foam with Sauvage Elixir and a mass pleasing niche (like Layton, but it doesn't really smell at all like Layton), and you get this. Great longevity, ok projection. Extreme versatility. Can be worn basically at any time, day or night, other than hot summer days. Masculine as fuck. Really, there's nothing to complain about. Yeah, it's no masterpiece, but it's great for what it is.

Quite a bitter & harsh opening, I'm getting that soapy/barbershop vibe. The lemon/bergamot probably has something to do with that. Not unpleasant to my nose though, I think it fits the name. The mint to me is subtle behind the other notes, it gives it a slightly cooling feeling which goes very well with how green this fragrance is. Dry down is woody & dark earthy. Not disappointed at all, this is a nice unique scent. 8.5/10

I purchased this one few days ago for around $100. This is value for money. I gave a full ware last week, 6/7 sprays combining skin & shirt, it lasted all day, even on the next day I could smell it from my shirt hanged on the hanger. I would say it's an all weather perfume except high heat above 38 degrees celsius. I got no cannabis note but could smell mint & tonka clearly

Look. It's painfully easy to wear and versatile. Yeah, it's uninspiring and not really outside the box, but it is well-blended for our zeitgeist. It starts off interesting, and dries down into a liquorice and shower gel accord. I'd be a lot more into it if it was a designer release rather than a niche house's offering.

This deserves far more praise and a higher rating. Fresh , spicey , slightly dark and long lasting with great sillage. I Love this one, great signature scent. Try before u buy. Wa, better than alot perfumes rated much higher
