Purple Love

although its not really in the notes, it does remind me of white chocolate mochas i had back in the day when i used to work at a barista. this is also one of the few i instantly bought the same day as i smelled them in store. the longevity on skin for me is about 9 hours while on clothes it lasts for two whole days. its a little expensive compared to the other bottles but its an limited edition of 3000 bottles and i do believe you can requast a refill when you get a full bottle. Just like when you have an LV you need to refill.

This is a beautiful gourmand fragrance. It’s not an edible gourmand though. It opens up bright and sweetened with the almond note which settles down after a few minutes. It’s slightly warm. It’s honestly hard to pick out the notes because it is very well blended. I love the ylang ylang it gives it a slight floral touch. This can be worn anytime of year, day or night. I would also say it is unisex leaning slightly more feminine. The bottle and packaging are perfect. I def recommend this if you enjoy these notes.

Reminds me of Jany by Sora Dora mixed with Amouage’s Love Delight. They don’t smell alike at all, but that layering combo puts me in the same mindset. A gourmand mixed with white flowers. This will be great for Spring.

This is the type of gourmand I can get behind! She’s grown up, she’s elegant, she’s semi sweet and she’s sexy!

This is an interesting fragrance that has been somewhat unfairly maligned but is nevertheless worth a try. It opens with a chocolate cake / cookie smell as if entering a bakery. After about 30 minutes it fades, and the florals start coming through, especially the orange blossom and ylang ylang. The almond note hovers, ever present, in a wispy, barely-there way. The deeper dry down is an intimate, mysterious, warm and inviting scent, reminiscent of violet and that purple colour. The progression of the scent throughout the wear is definitely interesting and very pleasant. I would have to be in the mood to wear this, especially because it's a cooler weather fragrance, but when I am it hits the spot.
