On paper, it truly smells like a vintage perfume, but in a good, nostalgic way. On my skin, it opens up with—pardon my French—cat pee, but it’s blossoming like a flower, introducing more notes, and I’m getting some juiciness from the peach and pineapple. She’s fun, but also demure because, next, I’m getting whiff of the powdery floral notes. In the background there is a lingering note that is rubbing me the wrong way. It smells like packaging or duct tape? But that’s only if I bring my nose really close to my skin. If I move away from it about one inch, it’s actually a pleasant smell. I don’t know how others would perceive it, but I’m personally not opposed to it. It could be one of those guilty pleasure fragrances that I would only wear at home, but projection doesn’t seem that intense, anyway. Not sure yet about longevity, either (this is just my first impression), but so far it’s okay. It could lean headache-inducing, but I would not overspray this. If you want a little vintage touch as you go about your day, but not as recognizable as other fragrances of its time (1996), give this one a go. It somehow reminds me of Lancôme Poême, but faintly. I also smell a bit of Delina Exlusif in the dry down (it must be the bergamot, rose and vetiver combination), so that was a nice surprise, and it’s giving me Revlon Ciara vibes, overall. I have this fragrance because I bought the Olfactive Legends Collector’s Box, and it’s a beautiful thing to hold a 30ml bottle of my favourite niche house’s history in my hands.
