Watch

This is awesome and gorgeous. Absolutely love it. I agree, it does remind me of Truth or Dare, but has a bit less “Fracas” to it. It isn’t groundbreaking but considering Truth or Dare is discontinued, this is an excellent alternative. The fragrance is quality, powerful and long lasting. I do not consider it mature at all, to me this is very sweet and youthful. I don’t believe it smells like Love Don’t Be Shy to my nose. I also get no playdoh from this. It’s the most bubblegummy of all the bubblegum scents I’ve ever smelled. My husband says it’s straight candy. I have the old bottle pictured here. I saw they updated the bottle though and now it’s a more simple classic rectangle design. I haven’t tried that one yet so I’m not sure if it’s been reformulated—hopefully not as I’ve abandoned so many scents now due to recent reformations and poor performance. I will admit though the bottle did need an update. I own many perfumes but the bottle I have pictured here is incredibly ugly. It looks like a young child decided to make it a craft project and lazily glued some ugly plastic mismatched rhinestones on it. I don’t understand the negative reviews here for the scent. This is stunning. I blind bought my bottle reluctantly but am so happy with it! I feel like this needs to be a permanent part of my collection.

Such a perfect opulent floral with fruity soul. Rich, dense but never tiring. It reminds me of Songes by Annick Goutal thanks to exotic florals like ylang ylang, tuberose and jasmine. Peach and plum are also big here which is how it differs from Goutal. But the base is sweet with vanilla - another similarity to Goutal which is sweeter. The flowers are ultra-feminine, it is hard to imagine a more feminine floral blend. When on my neck I am so immersed in them and so natural they seem that I like their power. Thanks to vanilla and musk the blend is universal weather-wise. Perfect for autumn with ripe fruit crops available, thanks to plums. For winter too, as this is warm and dense. For spring and summer evening thanks to lush floral notes. A gorgeous creation and so natural, true ingredients not lab-created and it shows. Big and long-lasting with perfect performance. The dry-down is so delicious too. Vanilla, musk with ylang and tuberose tinge. Loving it! It lingers till the morning.I If you love tuberose, ylang and jasmine and want more of them this is perfect. I also like the bottle, so artisanal and sturdy.

This one is one of my recent purchases and one of the most playful and joyful, least serious perfumes I own. It smells like pure, 100% pink bubblegum but on steroids. :P I get something like peach here and there, and some "fruit salad" notes, too, but all the way, it's very bubblegummy. It's strong, has fantastic longevity and sillage on my skin, one should be careful when spraying that. You don't need much to get that sweet bubblegum-like trail wherever you go. It follows you. :P even Mancera's Velvet Vanilla is not as bubblegummy as this one (VV has some herbal notes in it which tame it down a little bit, while this one doesn't, so fruity and sweet it is). I got the 30 ml bottle, very nicely crafted with small watches in a pretty golden purse. I'm happy to have it in my collection, as I have those moments when I love wearing something that doesn't take itself too seriously and it's just bold and unapologetically attention grabbing!

Just a really gorgeous, delicious fragrance. The notes listed on the packaging are: Top Notes: Plum, Peach, Tangerine Middle Notes: Ylang, Jasmine, Tuberose, Neroli Base Notes: Vanilla, White Musk M.Micallef has brought another excellently blended fragrance in Watch. I'm not sure I understand the meaning behind the name given to this fragrance, and to be honest, I'm not crazy about the bottle's design. But all of that is outclassed by this cold, fresh, sophisticated, feminine scent. It lasts for hours and hours and the sillage is excellent - it doesn't overpower the environment, but certainly is noticeable. I sampled this at first and straight away, I knew I 'needed' this. Very unique, very fine. I get the Peach, Tangerine, Neroli, Jasmine, White Musk, Plum and Vanilla. Absolutely worth the money and I won't hesitate to repurchase. Wear in the day or the night, it's beautiful all the time.

This perfume is AMAZING! signature scent worthy! This is everything that Mancera's velvet vanilla wanted to be. Or the natural high quality version of it. This scent is so versatile, so pleasant and easy to wear! it the yummiest bubblegummie, vanillic and creamy tuberose, its fresh, warm, cozy, and above all super uplifting and happy smelling. I think of a creamy, light pink marshmallowy cloud of comfort. I don't see myself dressed in a black gown or anything too formal, more of casual vibes, summer, spring, fresh air and pastel colors and fluffy clouds is what this scent evokes. This is definitely a youthful perfume, but not childish in any way. Very thick and full-bodied, in the best possible way. Longevity and projection are really good and it has that signature Micallef natural quality to it. This is a 10 scent for life type of perfume for me.

Thank you WendyMH for our latest swap in which I received a decant of this fragrance. I was apprehensive about the plum note being very noticeable, but thankfully for me this fragrance comes across as a magnificent, full fat, decadent vanilla tuberose. That being said, the scent smells "expensive" despite not being overly complex. It feels a little weird wearing this on a winter day in London, but only because this scent makes me dream of sipping cocktails in some lush tropical paradise. I don't think this could be something I would wear on an everyday basis, but when the mood calls for something tropical I could bathe in this. 24 hrs later I could still smell it close to my skin - a delicious drydown dominated by bourbon vanilla with a hint of coconut. Yummy.

If anyone had told me that I would love a sweet concoction like "Watch", I would have called them crazy. But I am now addicted to this amazing scent! I can't pass my perfume closet without taking the cap off to smell it. And my fingers actually move in anticipation of spraying it on myself and my clothes. It is indeed seductive. I, who always bought the "serious" creations (but hardly wore them) is now giddy with delight over this fizz of a potion! I am so very glad that Micallief sent me a marketing email with a few "specials". After trying and enjoying Ylang Ylang Nectar and O Feminin, why not try others from the house? I also picked up a 30 ML of Mon Parfum Cristal that is stunning. Isn't it grand to find unexpected treasures?

Micallef's Watch is a luxurious, rich, sweet tropical floral perfume. It was immediate love and I dare say the best Tuberose fragrance. It has few similarities to the iconic Fracas but smooth, modern, and gourmand. I get mostly tuberosey vanilla, ylang-ylang, peach, and jasmine. In my mind, I am in Maldives, Tahiti, or Seychelles on a warm night with a cool breeze having dinner by the ocean. I wear a beautiful white dress and gold bangles. This beautiful perfume bottle is on my vanity in a luxury bungalow near an open window and a gossamer curtain softly caresses the bottle when the wind blows. HEAVEN to the carnal flower lover. A successful blind buy for me :)

Watch is a creamy floral with a sweet, peachy, bubblegum-like twist. It’s centered on a soft vanillic tuberose, with a subtle fruitiness that keeps it playful yet refined. Sweet, yes—but not gourmand. At first, it seems like a great summer day scent, but it truly shines in summer evenings or spring weather. In high heat, it can feel a bit too heavy, even suffocating. But in the right temperature, it wears beautifully—smooth, feminine, and effortlessly charming. A fragrance best worn when the air is warm, but not hot—romantic, sweet, and perfectly balanced.

I just want to dive into this and swim around. The creamy tuberose and vanilla arrive warm and inviting. There is a honeyed nectar to this perfume that blends seamlessly with the flowers and vanilla. It seems to fill up the air with light. Incredibly sensual. Perfectly described by zielona - soft like cat's fur and addictive. I find the sent comforting. Love. Now.... the bottle. It is rather odd to have a clock nestled into the bottle - but I try to ignore this and concentrate on the vanilla tuberose divinity within.

This perfume is gorgeous and has become one of my favorites, and that's saying a lot. Tuberose is front and center and definitely a little "bubble gum" ish, especially at first, but that's one of the things I love about tuberose. It's sweet but never too much or cloying. This is more tuberose than jasmine, and lasts 12+ hours on me. If I wear it to bed it will still be there in the morning. Very well worth the price!

Got this for my birthday, it's a lovely lovely fragrance. Beautiful fruity vanilla with tuberose. Its a soft but very good longevity. Unfortunately I blind bought this and it is similar with fragrance that I own already. I did 2 sprays when I received it and if anyone interested i'm selling it for 185€ for 100ml (without shipping). I live in Europe.

It is a very dense, syrupy fragrance. Warm and rich, baroque even. Aromatic, golden and white flowers are swimming in a sticky soup made of peaches and plums. At the base there is a creamy musk and sweet vanilla as a comfort layer. Good projection and development thorough the day. A very enjoyable composition.

Syrupy neroli, jammy fruits and amber! This is what I wanted Love, Don’t be shy, Sintra and Safanad to be- this is the fruity, creamy orange blossom/Neroli for me. I just got a sample and I’m going for a full bottle!

Floral, sweet, persistent, stunning. Works great with my skin chemistry (male skin chemistry I should add). Testing from a 10 ml sample that came in my 2022 or 2023(?) M.Micalleff advent calendar. Big love.

I love this perfume and I agree it would make a great signature scent! It has the perfect amount of sweetness, airiness and "body". Very, very good!

I'm trying to find dupes for my beloved LDBS By Killian and was surprised to see this one among the most rated ones.I have both and there's nothing similar between the two other than the fact that they're both about sweet florals! When I first spray Micallef Watch I can detect a very bubblegumy tuberose and chewy bitter-sweet ylangylang wrapped by jammy fruity sweetness which reminds me of fruity-ambery sweetness of 90s perfumes.I find it a little dated and too much but make sure to give it more time and don't judge it by it's opening. as it settles down it changes to something more modern, a very sweet combination of vanilla, jasmine, orange flower and some powder. also I can detect something which smells like banana bubble gum which must be the combination of ylangylang and tuberose. Putting the banana bubblegum thing aside, it really reminds me of Gaultier classique Intense and Marly Safanad, also Lancome LVEB Eclat and Elie Saab In White. so nothing groundbreaking and new here but it's pleasant and smells classier and more balanced than some of the mentioned ones. Eventhough I don't find it similar to my beloved Love By Killian, I like Micallef Watch after it's opening ten minutes passes. I see it a good option for +30 ladies who are looking for a sweet vanilla-floral which is crowd pleaser and sophisticated at the same time. eventhough I like this and similar ones, they can give me headache and nausea if I wear them too often or in heat. so I find it cloying in warm weather but I don't like this scent profile for winter either(maybe end of winter is ok). I personally prefer it for cooler early springs or late summer days(below 25 °C). longevity and sillage are both satisfying. عجیبه که این عطر جزو مشابه های لاو بای کلیانه چون هیچ شباهتی به هم ندارن جزاینکه هردو شیرین و گلی هستن. میکالف واچ موقع اسپری کردن ترکیبیه از نت غالب مریم که بشدت یادآور آدامسه و یلانگ یلانگ تلخ و شیرین تو بستری از شیرینی که واسه من یادآور شیرینیه میوه ای-امبری عطرهای دهه نوده. تو این مرحله ازش زیاد خوشم نیومد و رایحه قدیمی طور و شلوغی داشت. اما حتما بهش زمان بدید چون بعد از چند دقیقه تغییر میکنه و مدرن تر میشه. شکوفه پرتقال، یاس و وانیل و کمی پودر غالب میشن و تو پس زمینه درحد خیلی کم ته بوی آدامس موزی حس میشه. اون آدامس موزی پس زمینه رو بذاریم کنار، ترکیب یاس و شکوفه پرتقال و وانیل و پودرش بشدت یادآور ژان پل گوتیه کلاسیک اینتنس، مارلی سافاناد، لانکوم لاویه بل اکلت و الی ساب این وایت هست. درنتیجه رایحه جدید و خاصی نداره اما خوشاینده. برای یه خانم بالای سی سال که دنبال عطریه که هم همه پسند باشه هم بالغ و شیک گزینه خوبیه مخصوصا که موندگاری و پخش بوی خیلی خوبی هم داره. این سبک روایح رو اگه زیاد یا تو گرما استفاده کنم بهم حالت تهوع و سردرد میدن اما برای روزای خنک اواخر زمستون و اوایل بهار و اواخر تابستون ازش بدم نمیاد. اما درحد لاو بای کلیان یا حتی نزدیک به اون هم دوسش ندارم. لاو بای کلیان یه چیز دیگست.. اینو هم بگم که میکالف واچ پکجینگ و شیشه خیلی قشنگی داره. من سی میلشو دارم اما چون عطر قویه همین سی میل یه عمره تموم نشده

Watch seems to be discontinued now and is available for a very good price at the Micallef website at the moment, so if you love it, stock up! I wanted to try it because of the comparisons to Love by Kilian, I thought Watch could be a more affordable alternative. Well, to me it smells like Love mixed with a classic tuberose fragrance à la Fracas. Not quite what I'm looking for but still a great scent! It opens with an unmistakable hypnotic tuberose, a little sharp, remotely bubblegummy, very sweet and full. I think the jasmine they used has similar qualities and is noticeable, too, but tuberose stands out more. Neroli slightly lifts the fragrance and ylang ylang adds a soft tropical vibe. All the fruit notes blend seemlessly into the white florals. When I really try I can single out peach, but it never takes the center stage. The base is a smooth caramelized vanilla. I enjoy the scent much more when it dries down and the floral sharpness slowly makes space for more and more vanilla gourmand goodness. I still prefer Love Don't Be Shy, because it's warmer and the orange blossom in it is more harmonic to my nose than the intense tuberose of Watch. I find this less floral and more vanillic than Madonna Truth or Dare though. You could call Watch the missing link between traditional tuberose perfumes and white floral gourmands. It's ultra feminine, thick and intense, a floral that feels right at home in the cooler months.

Watch if judging by the notes alone, should be a sure win for me. It's Micallef so good quality. Tuberose, jasmine, ylang ylang and musk are a good formula to win me over. However, Watch is like the perfect checklist boyfriend. The one who is perfect in every way, treats you like a queen and adores your wacko family. He has all the right ingredients to be the perfect partner. BUT. Watch doesn't do it for me. It's a beautiful bottle, definitely art of Micallef, but out of the bottle I get bubblegum vibe and it stays throughout tenaciously. I can't figure out what is causing this fruity bubblegum type note. The sillage and longevity are excellent for Watch. It is strange as different websites give different notes for Watch. Some have peony and no tuberose, others have tuberose but no peony. To be honest, I smell something that wants to be Tuberose but after ransacking the tuberose section of my wardrobe, the identity theft was confirmed. It is like tuberose but not quite. That's how I can describe it for now. This is a yummy fruit candy type fragrance that isn't too sweet at all. However I would not recommend this as a dominant tuberose scent.

Sweet, delectable, fruity bubblegum tuberose. So bright, playful, classy. Obviously inspired by the illustrious 'Fracas'. This is a full-blown feminine, floral version of 'Fracas'. Remove all the masculine, soapy notes and amp up the fruity tuberose sweetness. But what are the differences between 'Watch' and her siblings? 'Fracas': A complex, tuberose soap. Clean, lacking sweetness, yet oozing modern sophistication. 'Velvet Vanilla': Chic, super sweet, gourmand-like yet has some spicy/herbal facets. Addictive, sometimes the tuberose comes off as cake-like. 'Watch' is seemingly closer to 'Velvet Vanilla' if you remove the angelica note, herbal-green & spicy facets and decrease the sweetness, especially in the dry-down. 'Velvet Vanilla' is more gourmand throughout the perfume life-cycle, performance is on par. Basically: If you're looking for a expertly-blended, 200% feminine fruity-sweet tuberose that has class but no funny notes (like in 'Fracas' or 'Velvet Vanilla'), then 'Watch' is your beauty.

Today I received my 1oz bottle of Micallef Watch.as soon as I tried it I got surprised to see jasmine in the fifth place of dominant notes.to me this is a jasmine-tuberose bomb melted in a really sweet,creamy vanilla while some special,pleasant kind of bitterness(ylangylang has usually a bitterish undertone to my nose) cuts through this sweet,white,fatty cream.so beautiful. it's intense and heavy in sillage when first sprayed but it's sweetness calms down after a while and it settles down to a much softer,a tad powdery jasmine-vanilla.fruits stay quiet in background and don't showup on me It reminds me Jean Paul Gautier Classique intense a lot.if you like that one there's a big chance to like Watch too It's very expensive here(this 30mil bottle costed 150$ for me).I'm not sure about loving it yet but I enjoy it a lot It's bottle is a piece of art P.S: the scent one smells from more than half a meter is better than what you smell once you sniff your skin closely

Hmm, this is just sweet. It doesn’t distinctly smell of realistic flowers much like Juicy Couture Juicy Couture. It’s thickly sweet like Be Layered Caramel Overdose, Giorgio Armani Sun do Gioia and JPG Scandal. I was expecting loud pink Hubba Bubba bubble gum with a powdery tinge. This is more candy coated gum ball. My 7 year old niece thinks it smells really good. This fragrance stays soft on my skin. I think it is wearable candy. I wouldn’t even think candy until others mentioned it. I like it, but I tried it for the tuberose scent. Personally I can’t discern tuberose or any floral for that matter. It’s just a cloud of thick and hazy sweetness. It’s pretty though. Nishane Tuberoza and Armani Prive Vert Malachite smell super sweet and tuberosey compared to Watch. I like this much better than Juicy Couture Gold Couture, JPG La Belle and Agent Provocateur Fatale.

Watch (super weird name for a perfume, but hey, I'm just here for the juice) opens up like a cross between Madonna's Truth or Dare and Micallef's own Ananda Dolce. And it is positively atomic. Very strong tuberose with that typical powdery peach that I recognise in several others from this house. Not a fan of peach by any means but the florals here are nice. The ylang certainly makes its presence known. This is a very thick, unctious scent that becomes more and more creamy and buttery, then the fruits come through with vanilla, giving the sense of rich baked goods in the background. It's quite beautiful but very unbalanced - the opening is overbearingly strong and when it settles it becomes a skin scent too quickly. And I could really do without that peach.

Love, love, pure jasmine love. The fragrance is quite... straightforward; the change of top, middle and base notes is almost unnoticeable. Homogeneous, but on the other side - very rich, dense and essentional. You can distinguish ylang-ylang, neroli, tuberose, vanilla, jasmine, even linden [it's not listed in fragrance notes, but I'm not the only person that smells it] - but even though it's full of very strong notes, it's still very cohesive. Perfectly blended. Sweet, but not so sweet that it knocks everyone out. Quite autumnal, soft like cat's fur, lazy. Deadly lasting. Addictive. P.S. Don't be misleaded by this photo, the color of the liquid is much darker, more orange, deeper. "Crystals" are different in every bottle.

I really enjoy this one! This is largely a tuberose, ylang-ylang, and vanilla fragrance. The tuberose is thick and heady, but is coupled with a sweet Ylang Ylang and creamy vanilla. I do get a bit of the jasmine in the opening, however it's quite short-lived as this fragrance then becomes tuberose dominant. Ylang Ylang is one of my favorite floral notes, and I almost always associate it with the tropics or a summer holiday. This fragrance definitely has a summer feel to me, and would be a stunning summer evening fragrance. The dry down is a delicious vanilla and ylang ylang. Performance is fantastic, lasting all day on me!

Watch opens with a sweet pleasant white floral cloud, with some sweet fruit on top. It then develops into a delicate fruit and white flower mix, jasmine and neroli are the strongest for me. The drydown has a strong vanilla base. I don't get too much tuberose or musk, though. Performance is good: sillage is moderate, longevity is moderate to long. This is a very pleasant fruity floral to me, it's a bit more floral than fruity on my skin. A bouquet of mixed white flowers with a hint of sweet citrus fruit on a bed of vanilla. Very yummy and inoffensive, but complex enough to stay intrigued. I like it!

I found a mini of Watch and its a little sweet monster. In a nice way. If you're into the heavy sweet built scents made in 80's. Creamy sweet Tuberose, heavysweet Plum, a megaloud sweet Vanilla and some Peach and Jasmine. If you're into Dior Poison, Givenchy Ysatis and E Arden original Red Door, you will fall like a stone for watch. A tiny, tiny, tiiiny dab on man hand yesterday still smells great this morning. Not my absolute favourite of Micallef, but sure Watch puts a big smile on my face. (my Micallef-favourite is Gardenia)

My "like" for this may turn into a "love" if I spray it as it should be applied. I think I spritzed 3 sprays in a small area. The neroli was horrendous and all that I could smell for hours. Now that it has been over 4 hours, it still smells of neroli, but a nice neroli. I am going to shower and spray in the air and walk through it to see if I can get all the other lovely notes. This is a beast folks!

They should also add a gauge to show the maceration / aging level of the perfume. Or it's possible to make an integration that whenever the atomizer is pressed, the watch resets like a count down timer and show the remaining longevity of the perfume applied. There should also be markings to show which accord of the perfume is currently going on.. Anyhow this is just an idea which is applicable.

Звучит тяжело, густой шлейф, при этом в нем есть что-то, от чего невозможно оторваться, какая-то гипнотизирующая нота, из-за которой вы можете прийти к мысли "мне НУЖНО, чтобы им пахло прямо сейчас. Немедленно".

Little add for my earlier review. I sprayed Time for love last evening before going on bed. And woke up next morning still perfume was there. On my case, it lasted on my skin 10 hours.!! So I might say its very long lasting ;)))) GOOODDDD MICALLEF

Idk why this smells like Bazooka Bubble Gum on me from top notes up to the drydown. I love the smell but not for this price. Moderate to heavy sillage and very long lasting.

Tuberose galore. Reminds me very much of Madonna Truth or Dare. The drydown adds honey and neroli. Strictly for BIG white floral lovers.

I'm over bubblegum tuberose. Watch is a mature, headache inducing tuberose with a bunch of other florals. As many have mentioned it has a nuclear sillage and projection for the first two hours, which is not smth I would stand nowadays. If you like Fracas, you will love this one addition with plum and jasmine. unfortunately, Micaleff discontinues 30ml sizes, so I wonder who would use up a 100 ml of this bomb? Do not blind buy.

Watch is like a cousin of Guerlain's Terracotta but I like Terracotta with its light coconut drydown more. While I do get the tuberose in Watch , I wish it was less fruity and had more stronger woodsy notes like sandalwood at the base to give it some depth. It performs quite well like 8 hours on me but I wouldnt rush out to buy this.Good for a tropical environment or a beach vacation.

Ambery, fruity, white floral, with a bitter old-school Ylang Ylang note. Plum and peach make the fruity, ambery, fuzzy accord. Ylang Ylang make the bitter, little skanky white floral, along with some tuberose & jasmine. From a the classic school of bitter white florals that used to be more common before the 1990s. Very mature, neutral-to-cold weather wear. Suits women more.

Huge fruity floral built around tuberose, if you like Poison, you must try this. It's strong, lasting and very French. Also Summery, with a slightly tropical effect. My only caution is against overspraying, in fact a walk-through would be sufficient with this, and allow you to appreciate the very pretty notes. Too much, and people will be reeling. Every tuberose fan has their favourite, and while this is a smidge fruity for me, it's a definite must-try if you're into classic florals x

I expected to love Watch, but nope. The floral notes are okay but the fruits! The fruits, the plum especially, are sickening. The way they're done here reminds me a little bit of when you leave a crate of plums in an unventilated room for a couple days. Musty pantry is the evoked impression. Even though that pantry might have some great flowers and vanilla lying on the shelves, it's still filled with stale fruit fumes.

Dont like It. Not for me... maybe wen I will be 70-80 year s old lady, but not now.... grrr...This perfume stay in skin very good:))) I try to wash It, not so easy :D

I unfortunately get a lot of musk and I mean a lot. Feel like Peppe le Pew :( No vanilla note so far and no jasmine either... just a potent musky musky smell

I don't know if I'm the only one to find strange to find a watch on a perfume bottle. It's so kitsch !!! And for a niche brand, it's even cheap, I would say.

Sickeningly and syrupy. Got a sample and tried it a few times over the course of months. Not for me.

This smells Like old bananas and old bad fruits... i love white florals and tuberose- Thats Why i Order this. But its so soooooo sick really nothing to do with florals or bubblegum.

This is more personal than other reviews I’ve written, not in the sense of being tender or private, but because I was searching over some years with a very specific brief in mind... Yes! This is just what I was looking for: a bubblegummy, fruity tuberose that lasts! And it packs a wallop at every turn. In the opening, a green, cigaretty tuberose, “wet-paint” petitgrain, and grape-candy jasmine create a fleeting but kaleidoscopic flash of extroverted white-floral paradise. Then, Watch quickly settles into into a cozy, vanillic, buttery, “fruity pebbles” or fruit punch kind of tuberose with hints of sweet-floral waxiness (evoking Truth or Dare) and syrupy jasmine (like Fracas or even Alien). Undeniably candied, it calls up the nostalgic scent of grape Bubble Tape and classic bubblegum alike — one can almost feel the matte powdered sugar on their lips and fingers. But I didn’t seek this out to smell like candy for its own sake — did not these complex, full-bodied, smoldering, fruity white florals inspire the confectioner first? (Perhaps Velvet Vanilla, which I have yet to try might also capture my heart, but pear and angelica can both hit me the wrong way, depending.) I’ve trod similar paths with other perfumes trying to find this bubblegum effect, and here is where they missed the mark that Watch, which has something in common with all of them, so skillfully hits: Fracas - tempered with a violet/lilac tinge that took it out of tropical territory for me Vamp a NY - becomes buttered-rum and caramel corn after the beautiful floral opening subsides Jacques Fath Rosso Epicureo - rose and patchouli end up rivaling the fruity, cigaretty tuberose Truth or Dare - hard to find; a woody, laundry-musk dominates the base notes Carnal Flower - more photo-realistically green than fruity LDBS - too much cotton-candy effect; love the “fruity pebbles” top notes Monotheme Tuberose - too fleeting Kim Kardashian Signature - thin, citrussy, laundry-ish, a little sour? Shares only a faint hint of bubblegum Please note — the above are all well-constructed and wonderful, but I was searching for something different. I see this Fragrance brings a lot of emotional reaction from many, both very positive and negative experiences and I can totally understand it. This is not for everyone, and to be honest - best fragrances are never meant to please everyone! They have to stand out and make a statement, say something provocative, honest, and just like a single person can't be "all things to all people", so it is with the perfume Watch by Micallef. This is a masterpiece of its kind, an outstanding and very well balanced, multidimensional Floral-Oriental that smells incredibly expensive and luxurious. A true Oriental Elixir, a real aphrodisiac, timeless and yet ancient, like a magic potion from 1001 nights; it brings back the good old fashioned Romance... There is a friendly, fruity, sweet opening, and then we enter the garden of exotic flowers and romantic jasmine, just to be taken to a sunny, dry & warm, woody base. It smells like Sun itself, resembles Terracotta Guerlain and Madonna Truth or Dare, due to Tuberose, but also Jasmine-Vanilla combination. I would wear it in Summer, especially in the afternoon and evening or for the night. Perfect on Holidays with a sunset and a glass of wine, long walks on the beach... Don't be afraid of a little decadence, this scent is not meant for the introverted shy personality, and if its bottle could speak it would say to you and ask you " What do you have to lose ? Live your life fearlessly, Love unconditionally, shine and glow, your life is now ! Maybe that's the meaning behind the design and a little watch attached to the bottle - a little reminder that life is short, and every moment of it is really precious ! This is my most beloved of all Fragrances out there.
