Proud Mary

I bought mine after the first sale, opened it up, and started testing. The experience was so memorable - unlike a lot of fragrances I try for the first time. I usually have to wear them several times before I can remember what they smell like instantly. With Proud Mary if I think of it or hear of it, the scent immediately comes to me clearly. It sticks with you, and you know you're wearing something special. I already have my backup bottle, and when I'm grown up enough to stop buying so much perfume, this will be my signature scent, because nobody will smell like me. No it's not Aventus, Hacivat, Nouf, or Qaed, or any of the pineapples you might think of or that will probably end up in the “reminds me” section. Most of those (to me) are sharp, basic pineapple scents that smell great in summer but won't win any huge prizes. They are perfectly fine within their scent profile. This is not the same DNA. It's a deep, rich, grown-AF beast with a smooth finish that just does not quit. This has pineapple as a note, but there are so many others. All of these notes come through clearly, from the apple and pineapple to the tonka, cardamom, vanilla, and cacao. I will boldly wear this fragrance 24/7, 365, and adjust accordingly. When I think about how this would smell on someone else, I imagine different notes singing on different skin and that makes me smile. I adore this fragrance and will treasure these two bottles like a lottery I happened to win. This is an Extrait and also 120ml. Please compare against ME Niche and the price makes perfect sense. Wait for a sale but don't wait too long. I cannot WAIT to get Numero Deux. I'm ready for another lifetime love.

Proud Mary is truly one of my all-time favorite fragrances and such an underrated gem. The apple note in this perfume is absolutely addictive on my skin — crisp, juicy, feminine, and never overly sweet. What makes it even more special is how beautifully it meshes with my skin chemistry. From the moment I spray it, it just comes alive and lasts ALL day on me. I can still smell it on my skin until I shower, which is rare. The compliments are nonstop every single time I wear it, and I’ve already bought backup bottles because I never want to be without it. It has that perfect balance and is so captivating that makes people stop and ask what you’re wearing. So many people are missing out on this hidden gem. Proud Mary deserves way more hype.

It’s one of the easiest most comforting fragrances to wear anytime; although, it does always make me think of early Fall. It’s smooth, elegant, and a perfect blend of the dried fruits, pineapple, fluffy tonka, and very soft woods. Highly recommend it!

This is a signature worthy scent. It’s pretty, elegant, well balanced, well blended, long lasting but pleasant scent. I love my my perfume takes me on a journey and this one delivers. Guys, she is perfection in a bottle you can’t help but feel pretty and confident wearing it. Cee Cee should be proud of herself. This is the fragrance I wear when I want people to notice me. This fragrance will not go unnoticed in the best way possible. I absolutely love this perfume.

Proud Mary is such a beautiful perfume. After trying perfume for so long and reached a point of disappointment as they were all starting to Smell the same and no creativity. When I saw that Cee had a perfume I just had to try it and I was blown away it’s so beautiful and it has officially become my signature scent. I definitely recommend getting your nose of this masterpiece.

This fragrance is so pretty. It really does take you on a journey from its fruity opening right down to the warm woody notes at the end, but maintains its sweetness the whole time. I can easily see wearing this daily as a signature scent.

Such a beautiful fragrance! A must try if you are looking for a signature scent.

Phenomenal, exquisite perfume. Long lasting. 10/10 for me.

I am now working on my second bottle and really enjoy this fragrance. Proud Mary has a beautiful Jasmine note that takes the floral aspect in this fragrance to next level with out becoming heady or cloying. This is however a rich and dense fragrance giving it its Middle Eastern flavor. The fruity aspects give it sweetness and density. The dry down is balanced with a delectable tonka and gentle woody ambiance. There is movement and flow through the olfactory journey and the drydown is very wearable. I enjoy this fragrance during Spring and Fall seasons best but it could be a year round in the right climate. I find it long lasting 6+ hrs on my skin and 8-10 hrs on natural fiber fabrics. I think its unisex but in my opinion, leans feminine. I have recieved several compliments and inquiries while wearing Proud Mary. All in all I'm very pleased with this fragrance and it has continued place in my collection.

Its okay, Its not my cup of tea. Perhaps later as I have been letting it macerate to see if it will blossom into something nice. The bottle is beautiful though. I am not a fan of Pachouli. Some fragrances blend well with it, but this is heavy with it

I do like Cee and her straightforward, insightful reviews. I would really love to try this but can't find any site that stocks this that ships to UK. Anyone know where I can get hold of a sample? Sorry, not a review.

I’m not familiar with Cee, I was introduced to this frag from my frag group and social media. I can’t lie, this is a nice woody pineapple.
