SNOUF 2026: The opening is simply beautiful. Strawberry and incense — and just saying it sounds like one of those strange combinations that shouldn’t work, yet it absolutely does. The incense here isn’t what you might expect: nothing church-like, no heavy smoke. It’s drier, more secular, embracing the strawberry and softening its sweetness without crushing it. A striking opening, truly. After about an hour, however, things change. The incense disappears and what remains is a rather generic fruity base — not unpleasant, but definitely less distinctive. Sandalwood appears, warming and softening the composition, but unfortunately that initial spark never returns. The drydown plays it safe. This fragrance leans more feminine than masculine, with average projection and longevity. That said, the overall balance is positive. It’s an unusual summer evening fragrance, suitable for many occasions. Maiora Parfum is a brand I genuinely like: it has a clear identity and a noticeable attention to detail (from the raw materials to the bottle). And the price for an extrait at this concentration is more than fair — almost courageous in a market where everything tends toward the elitist. Fireberry isn’t perfect from start to finish, but that opening makes you think: yes, this fragrance is worth it.
