Nose Note #811 Very nice and easy to wear. Seaweed is not a realistic seaweed, but it's feasible. It's not sweet, somewhat orangy, but it's subtle. It's not a loud perfume. Very masculine, confidently masculine. It's not old school, it's precisely the 00-10s mens fragrance, before Bleu de Chanel on one side and Invictus, Ultramale on the other. It doesn't feel incomplete or too simple, or like a mass market trash. It's a very solid mens freshie. And it's after the more mature crowd like 30+ y.o. The opening has a huge alochol blast. Performance is as expected average or barely average. 7.5/10, nice sea-like experience UPD. 8.4/10, I really like this a lot. It's simple and effective. Somewhat like Blue Seduction but more mature. Doesn't last though, you have to really overspray it

I just blind bought Aquilo today since I was searching for a good dupe of Bvlgari Aqva for some time now and it really hits the spot. The BA DNA is 100% there, I think its a bit lighter than the OG one but overall I can spot many differences. Neither on the longevity as well. Id say its over 90% similar to BA with slight differences, maybe being a bit more synthetic in the opening than BA, but the dry down is almost the same. Cant say its a 1 to 1 but definitely over 90% similar I have noticed that many find it overwhelming and fishy/ eggy smelling, it really depends on the skin chemistry from person to person. Definitely not a blind buy, 9.5/10 for me, maybe 6/10 for someone that wont enjoy it as much.

Bvlgari Aqva is a very nice aquatic scent, and since this is very close the value of this is great. I think at discounters this runs to be about half the price. Now, for half the price you are losing some performance for sure. This lasts, at most, 4 hours for me. The projection is meh as well, but that's about what I got with the original. Now it is pretty close to the original. Of course comparing side to side there are some subtle differences, but it's a very well done alternative for sure. The quality is good, and I mean for the price it's fantastic. Overall, a good buy. Don't expect it to last forever, and you'll be happy. It's a sublime summer scent. I admire that it's not sweet and screechy, and instead has a fresh and brine combination that makes it awesome. Citrus and salt, and a bit of sea water. It smells like the inside of a boat with a citrus kick, pretty good. If this was a song it'd be Grimes Genesis. Because it's good, but right as it's getting great it's gone.

Maceration, maceration, maceration. I bought this one to fill a discounted order and after the first spray I thought it was a fail: it had a weird egg yolk smell. So I left it to macerate. After more 6+ months, I tried it again and surprise: no more egg yolk and it smells somewhat like Liam Blue, that I have, meaning somewhat fresh, blue, aquatic. It does project, but far from beast mode. It office and carpool safe, the scent is detectable without being overwhelming. Age wise it's for 30+ dudes, summer, beach, casual wear. It has little to no sweetness, it's nice not wow and for a discount price it's ok to buy. Because I just discovered it, I'm not sure it's backup bottle worthy, but I don't exclude the ideea. After spraying it on clothes, it's still kicking after 5+ hours. So, for me, with all the negative reviews, it's a pleasant surprise. But, again: maceration, maceration, maceration.

Initial wearing review, opening is pleasant. I get aquatic/salty notes more forward than citrus. After the dry down it's more of the lavender, powdery, slightly woody and basically no citrus any longer. Sort of one of those fragrances where things sort of meld together where it doesn't really smell anything specific any longer. Will do the whole macerate deal and report back if it changes. Overall 6/10

Sharp mandarin and petitgrain that pretty quickly starts to get salty aquatic herbal seaweed accord to mimic a fresher smelling seaweed with some aromatic lavender in the heart. The base is woody and patchouli and slightly herbal to my nose. It actually reminds me of a more orange version of Artisan Dixit Octopus, which now makes me want to layer Afternoon Swim dna with Octopus.

I have both Aquilo and Bvlgari Aqua, so was able to compare them directly. IMO Aquilo is about 75% similar. In general, BA is just more natural smelling, the difference being most apparent in the opening. BA is brighter, wetter, and more aromatic, whereas Aquilo is drier and woodier. With Aquilo, I also sometimes pick up a gasoline note.

Aquillo by maison alhambra has a very nice scent. I wasn't sure that I'd like it by looking at the notes but it's a very wearable fragrance. Has a nice freshness to it. Longevity and sillage are decent. It's not a beast fragrance but at this price point who cares. Spray away!

I don’t know. For me it is not good. It is something I wear only to gym in summer. It’s too soft for myself. Not the worst thing but there is lot of better fragrance for summer.

The opening is quite nice but after about 20 minutes it smells of egg white to me.Imagine having to smell something very similar to egg white at skin level for a couple of hours, not really very pleasant.

Very nice scent but very weak not as good as the OG at all but good enough to go through the bottle in a short time without worrying about cost. I should say it does smell very good, it's not a 1:1 but it's similar and worth having, but you will have to let macerate and reapply. It doesn't last Ling for me, but I've only had the bottle a couple weeks so letting it sit, might stay longer on clothing. @Ahethesham it's a clone of Aqva Pour Homme was launched in 2005. The nose behind this fragrance is Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. Top notes are Mandarin Orange, Orange and Petitgrain; middle notes are Seaweed, Lavender and Cotton Flower; base notes are Virginia Cedar, Woodsy Notes, Patchouli, Clary Sage and Amber.

C'mon guys, what are we talking about? This is essentialyl 75% Aqva Pour Homme Bvlgari scented water DNA and little more. Impossible to overspray and you will need at least a dozen sprays to have a scent bubble that might last you an hour or so. This actually reminds me of Hollister Wave, but actually no where near as rich or vibrant as Hollister Wave. This can work as a bedtime scent if you want to be very very subtle with your partner...but that's about it. I have the OG and the punch on this is so weak...there's really no comparison...there in 2 different leagues of fragrances.

It's like citrus flavoured toothpaste premix with someone's spit. It cools and opens your airways like vaporub, without being camphorous or minty. It's very ethereal. I get a good few hours out of the base. And it doesn't seem to matter how much I apply at once. Other than that, it's another blue fragrance. I don't have the original so I can't comment on that. I rate it. Cheap and very cheerful. Great for layering to give deeper fragrances a fresher sensation. But my bottle isn't sealed very well.

So is said that is a Bvlgari Aqua clone, idk how is the BA one. This is straight out of the box orange, literally smells as if you were smelling an orange, then is undefined sweet in the drying This has low proyection, and a average skin duration, same in clothes, must at least spray 10 times, if you don't want a weak fragrance this is not your choice definetely, overall is a nice scent to workout, office, etc everyday in summer or hot weather This in cold weather dies.
