I bought this because it’s said to be a good dupe for JPG Divine and I wasn’t too disappointed but I also wasn’t completely satisfied since I purchase it under the guise of it being a dupe! It does share some similarity but It’s way sweeter and soapy, it’s a jasmine heavy perfume. I like Jasmine, but I’m getting real bored with that note in perfume now. I can only imagine how gorgeous this perfume would’ve been with the lily note. 🤧 If anything this started to smell more like a stronger and sweeter less woody version of Olympéa to my nose which was confusing. I don’t think many would agree with me on that one but I sprayed my sample of Olympéa on one wrist and Céleste on the other and honestly I was surprised at the similarity. Not 1:1 but in a similar vein. I get a subtle saltiness but it’s not very prominent. The reviewer I watched said this was aquatic and I can sort of agree with that. Where Divine is lily heavy, Céleste is Jasmine heavy. It has great projection and lasts a good while too. I’ve noticed If you overspray Divine it can be really suffocating and overbearing. If you don’t overspray Olympéa you literally can’t smell it after 5 minutes. I oversprayed this and it didn’t necessarily feel cloying but it’s just nicer without such a heavy hand so all in all it meets in between those two OGs, at least to my nose. It’s well blended and the bottle is nice too, I will say the gold piece is plastic but still really quite gorgeous. It was a steal, I bought this for $17, for the scent and price point I really can’t complain about it not being a safe blind buy. I also don’t seem to be experiencing the same issues others have run into with a harsh opening or anything of the sort. Céleste is complex enough to stand on its own as a perfume. I don’t think this is a 1:1 dupe but if you enjoy Divine this could be something you’d be interested in. Personally I like this and outside of being considered a “dupe”, it’s a 4/5 for me in terms of scent, bottle, longevity and compliments.

I have grown to love this perfume over the past few months! Love the amber notes in it along with the "beachy vibe" I get from the ylang ylang. It lasts on my skin all day and sometimes I can still smell it on me the next day! Hoping this will still work in the summer heat - if so, I think I have found my signature scent! Celeste is NOT a dupe for JPG's Divine (but there are some similarities) and while it has a DNA similar to Alien Goddess/AG Supra Floral, it is not a dupe for those either. I think it might be intending to dupe something entirely different (like Million Gold for Her -- not sure because I have never smelled that one).

Smells nothing like JPG Divine and that makes me happy (not really a fan). This fragrance is more of a hybrid between One Million Gold for Her and Alien Goddess. Such a pretty fragrance for those days you want to give your designer fragrances a rest. It doesn't smell like a cheap dupe and the price is great.

Alien Goddess dupe! 😍 I love it. I got it thinking JPG Divine but a friend sprayed Alien Goddess around me the other day and near identical. Little harsh at first and I've sprayed it on a hoodie and I can still smell it days later. Letting it macerate ✨

Celeste is very unique scent . It is comping 3 dupes ( Alein Goddess/ JPG divine/ million lady gold and her dry down similar to CH GG . I really love this perfume

How comes a perfume like Céleste launches in 2022 can be a dupe for one that was lauches 8n 2023 (Divine JPG) ?! So the dupe is the designer one 😎

I just received this today so this is a first impression. I find this a nice blend of white florals that open with a citrus brightness. I love the jasmine and lily of the valley, and that the rose isn’t super prominent. The ylang ylang elevates it into a creamy lushness and then the sandalwood and musk give it a classy earthy feel. It isn’t particularly groundbreaking, but I like that. This is a scent that would be pleasant in any occasion, any season. This is another one of the ME scents that would be great for those who are just starting to add ME scents into their collection! It’s very pretty and slightly sexy. I haven’t smelled any of the compared fragrances so I can’t say how close Celeste comes. Reviewing it as its own fragrance, I think it’s a really good scent at an amazing price! Definitely blind buy worthy. I feel like this could easily be mass appealing!

When I originally got this perfume, it was really sharp and suffocating to the point that I could barely tolerate opening the cap, but I decided to give it a chance and let it macerate. After about two months, I gave it another try and it definitely mellowed out, and it's a nice soft fragrance now. A slight creaminess came through, which I think is from the sandalwood, and there's a 'roundness' which I think comes from the jasmine/ylang-ylang. That being said, it smells almost like a root beer float in a way. It's definitely not a gourmand, and it's not really sweet, but it has a bit of a smooth creamy almost earthy quality to it in the way that root beer does. So, think root beer float on a table with a bouquet of flowers

Nose Note #338 A very typical ylang-ylang based scent. Similar to M. Micallef Ylang in Gold and many others. Sweet creamy ylang-ylang, very potent, stays long. Not really for the summer. Smells nice and I think it would generally satisfy most people if you are not going for something extraordinary. This is like Dior Sauvage kind of "easy to wear, easy to like", but for women. 7/10

This starts off very sweet and tropical, and settles to something close to how I Want Choo smells but salt runs throughout. I'd imagine this won't be for everyone, even depending on the skin chemistry, I think it was go very wrong on some. But if it goes right, which it does for me, it smells very intoxicating.

For the price I paid, this exceeded my expectations; it smells very fresh and floral but not overpowering. It lasts pretty much all day. I haven't smelled the original, so i have nothing to compare it to, but it smells expensive. The bottle is very unique and good quality.

The initial spray was and still kinda is a little harsh...but the dry down, when sprayed on clothing, is actually nice & the sharpness settles down into a lighter citrus floral scent that does not offend...but...after a while...it starts to remind you of a non-offensive cleanser or detergent scent. Be careful NOT to overspray on skin as it doesn’t work well with my own ph and transitions into a cheap headache inducing floral scent. It does kinda remind me of Gaultier Divine Jean Paul Gaultier...but I would NOT repurchase this one. This single bottle is all I will ever need of this LOL. It’s ok...but turns really basic once the sharpness dissipates and it fully dries down.

It smells yellow and classy/mature. I wouldn't mind smelling it on someone walking by. Ripe yellow plumes of flowers AND the puff of yellow pollen that goes along with a big sniff. Powdery citrussy pith, yellow florals with a pinky white flowers hiding in the background. Good base for longevity. The powdery nature is not my style and a little too pitchy on the yellow florals. I sneeze from this combo, haha.The fragrance was a little more smooth, sweet and enjoyable on fabric.

Fell in love with the first sniff at the store, but was overwhelmed by the ylang-ylang when I took it home. Yellow florals are not for me, I don't think.

For me this is straight up So Scandal with added salt. A strong performance, no complaints.

Idk how people dont vote up oakmoss in the notes tab cuz this is super mossy with a ylang/jasmine twist I don’t like it I know many times it’s compared to JPG Divine cuz they both are sort of tropical floral marine types but in Celeste the marine accord is less strong and less metallic compared to Divine Still dislike both

I hate it. Not good way to strong... made me wash it off fast because gave me headache

one of the worst ME perfumes i own. and i have like over 200. very powdery unpleasant very basic perfumy mess. absolutely blank and boring. not sweet. cannot wait to de clutter. using it as a toilet freshener.

This is more information on Celeste being copied by JPG. I don't know how but Fragrantica got the release date wrong for this perfume. Yes, if you look at the google AI summary it says the same year as Fragrantica but it's pulling information from various sites not verifying the information. Some other sites take info from here too and if it's not correct that's how misinformation spreads. Celeste does not pop up on here till 2025. It hits various sites at the same time. There's no way JPG copied this fragrance. Why are there no reviews before 2025? Why has no one mentioned a date on the bottle to prove that point? And someone would have repurchased multiple times by now, even if it was twice. AI can be helpful but it's not to be replied upon blindly.

Just got this and the opening is horrid. I thought I made a mistake with this. 5 minutes later it blossoms into a beautiful clean floral scent. It’s Pretty strong so don’t over spray, unless you wanna suffocate. Will update on longevity if I remember Editing to add: I hate this perfume. It makes me nauseated and gives me a headache. Donation pile it goes.

its a catastrophy , honestly fist time i tried it i was thinking it was an okay perfume not to bad but a few days later i started to rly hate it i litrally dont think ive hated a perfume like this before its disgusting and too sweet and i ahve no words to explain how much i ahet this , this is not a safe blind im giving this away

A very floral and a bit ”soapy” perfume. I had higher expectations on this one but its not bad at all. There’s just plenty of perfumes out there that smells like this one. The bottle is GORGEOUS though!

Really sharp and harsh on first few spritz 😩🤣🤣, all I can smell is sharp white florals, will let it macerate, and update in few months
