Dark Door Intense

This is somethin else this! Wow, what a scent! The first thing that came to my mind was sweet mochi with ube taro paste filling. This smells eerily like taro mochi! If the colour purple had a scent, this is what it would smell like. Makes you feel like you're a naughty dessert served at a corner cafe one late, rainy evening in october. I have a higher average body temperature, which is good for some notes and disastrous for others. Fortunately iris shines through my heat like a naughty neon-sign to a seedy brothel! Everything iris is a sure thing for me. Here, the musk mallow complements the iris, turning the aroma into a hedonistic revel! The fusion of the two smells almost like cardamom, but not as sharp, instead milky & creamy. This is a perfect middle ground unisex - as long as you're dressed in black and violet. The only downside for me is the longevity and sillage of the fragrance. It turns very quickly to faint, skin scent. Lasting barely 2 hours. Oh well, just re-apply...

This is surprisingly great. It is definitely modeled after the Dior Homme line, and more specifically Dior Homme Intense. For those people who do not like the "lipstick" vibe of DHI and DHP OG, this tones down iris' lipstick quality without sacrificing an authentic smelling green, earthy iris/orris. And it turns up the woodsy notes, namely cedar and vetiver. Therefore it is a slightly darker, more masculine version of Dior Homme Intense, in my opinion. It smells like you layered three sprays of DHI with one spray of Creed Royal Oud or Houbigant Bois Mystique. Maybe the longevity and projection leave a little to be desired, I don't know. But at this price, just use it often. Or like me, cycle 3+ fragrances on your skin each day haha. This is the best DHI clone I am aware of, whereas Al Wataniah Kayaan Classic is the best Dior Homme Original clone. I give Dark Door Intense an 8.5 and a Fragrantica score of 4.35 .... Bravo

I bought it for €10 so even if it was mediocre I wouldn't have any complaints but guess what after some months of maturation it's not just good it's FANTASTIC!!! Incredibly good Dior clone. Performance and durability far better than average. Chocolate iris that reminds nothing of a cheap perfume. This is a compliment magnet and almost impossible to tell it apart from the original. It is worth much more than its price so if you find it just buy it. One of the best if not the best from Maison Alhambra. One of the few cheap perfumes that I have nothing negative to say. Unbelievable how they are able to sell it so cheap. 10/10 easily.......

The density is more chocolaty than the current DHI. Performance will be an issue, but you can spray more and you will be gold. I own DHI (including a backup bottle), and this one can be used more often. Great scent for office or ambient where DHI can be a bit too much. It serves a purpose in my collection, even owning DH Original, DHI, and DHP. Performance improved with time. Not a beast mode, but solid for about 6-7 hours. On clothes (3-4 sprays) can do the trick too..... and last days. It’s more linear in comparison to DHI but quality wise, Dark Dior Intense is a great alternative to DHI if you are on a budget.

Bought it blindly after getting knowing that it smells similar to Dior Homme Intense (which smells amazing), and I must say - It does! And also costs about 25$. The scent is so good, sweet chocolate, iris, lavender, maybe little leather? Really beautiful for cold weather, less for the summer. I don't like the longevity, as it doesn't hold more than 2-3 hours +- on me. I understand this changes after a month or 2 after using it a little and the maceration kicks in. Id recommend getting a small automizer bottle and fill it and re-apply every 2 hours, I did that and now im just spraying it whenever I want :D

DHI was my favorite of all time before they killed it with this 2025 version. Last batches before this reformulation were also very weak and missing a lot of what made this one my personal fav. So I tried all the alternatives. This one smells fantastic. Opening is to die for. It is like a mix between old DHI and old DH original. It is closer than kayaan, more irisy and less synthetic imo. It doesn't last long, at all ... and doesn't really project, but as far as the smell is concerned, it is amazing. If they do a version that can maintain this opening and make it powerful, it is my new perfume for life.

Well this one is the closest DHI variant you can get on the market. I must admit that I am surprised by the quality and similarity to the OG. Price? Ridiculously low 10% of DHI price. It is not as aggressive in opening as the OG, but it lasts quite well. Two resprays and you'll smell like DHI all day. Ps. Just ignore the comments of self-proclaimed experts whose trained noses "notice" the differences..bullshit... I am sure that no one around you can notice any differences from OG when you are perfumed with MA DDI.. If you're lucky enough to find it in a store, don't hesitate, just buy it.

About time they put this one on Fragrantica. I've had two bottles over the past two months and oh my god it smells AMAZING. Extremely close to Dior Homme Intense. Only problem is that it doesn't last too long like the guy below said. Still, that didn't prevent me from falling in love with it. I saw almost no differences comparing this to a recent batch of DHI at the mall, so I would say that this is an almost carbon copy of it for cheeeap. Again, longevity and projection isn't DHI-like. But still, get it if you can. You'll love it.

I dunno about yall complaining, this is ONE to ONE. I think i have a good chesmistry skin with iris and poudry scents , this this the second time i try a what is supposed to be a short lasting not projecting iris scent but turns out to be monster on my skin . in terms of how much close to the original? 98% ofc there always will be that small percentage of what,makes a designer quality designer, but u dont need to buy the og , mine is long lasting and strong i dont even need to overspray . Completely SATISFIED. Elegance in a bottle.

I am female, Dark Door for my nose is gorgeous. I've had it sitting around for about a year and decided to give it a go this evening after shower. It's a classy, silky smooth, sweet iris, gorgeous sweet powdery dry down. I've got quite a few different brands of this DNA , I love them all actually, The OG and several inspired by, This is a very nice version. And it's smells even better on the man, the testosterone it seems to make it smell even better. It's definitely unisex for those who love Dior Homme sent 🥰

got a weird smell from it in begin, i revisited and man... amazing, not one of my fav but probably because of longevity... if it lasted 8-10 hours with a bit more of projection it would be a 10/10 Edit: doesn’t last, doesn’t project, smells cheap, camaro homme intense is WAY better, i trusted gents scents as he was always right about all of the perfumes but this my first let down, out of all my bottles 35+ this one is collecting dust...

Having smelled the original Dior Homme, this hits the mark. Its a very powdery, dark iris with some lavender wrapped in a musky woody base. Unfortunately, even after a few months this does not last long and sillage is mediocre, but the scent itself is amazing! I would wear this for classy occasions where you don't neccesarily wanna attract too much attention and fill up the room with perfume but still want to smell good.

I got mine few days ago for £13.99 Bottle is heavy glass and looks much more expensive than it is. Smell wise it definitely is an Iris based scent. It reminds me of Gentleman reserve privee and Dior homme intense (must be) It doesn't perform too good for now but I know that Lattafa and Maison Alhambra frags need to macerate. So far it's very promising and definitely worth £13.99

Great great dupe of Dior Homme Intense. Even closer to the original than Kayaan Classic which is ever so slightly sweater. Unfortunately the longevity is really not great. If you don't mind a very small deviation from the original, Kayaan Classic is a better perfume overall. But apart from the longevity Dark Door Intense is insanely close to Dior Homme Intense

Listen to me: Get this if you need a 1:1 of Dior Homme Intense. Do not listen to what others say here. I can't be anymore clear and simple. To paint a picture: Man in his 30s wearing a black suit and black lined up beard opens the bedroom door for his new girl and leaves suspense after closing the door behind him. I'll leave the rest for your imagination.

I love that this type of chocolatey iris is considered a men's fragrance these days. Really elegant when dressed up, but not so formal that it isn't also sexy as hell when worn with with a tshirt and jeans. Lasts me 8 hours or so of moderate projection on skin, and I can usually still smell it faintly as a skin scent the next morning.

i love dhi, and i'd say this is an awesome dupe, has the same suit-and-tie, smooth, elegant iris vibe. the projection and longevity were initially not that good unfortunately , but after maceration the performance improves a lot and the scent profile gets a lot smoother. overall it's a great affordable option if you like this dna 8/10

finally, a clone that serves a purpose!! this is a very good clone of the older version of DHI. Not nearly as good in performance though, which is not a bad thing IMO. the fact that it is lighter makes it a little bit more wearable. Although i would appreciate not having to re-apply every hour.

Yes this is a very good clone of DHI and in term of price point it's even better than DHI, no syntheticness or funky detected, juice don't come with great performace but it's not weak either, just decant to a small bottle , respray after 4-5 hours.
