Decadent Wonder

Jadi, segala perbandingan bau ni aku buat bersandar pada perfume yang pernah aku pakai sebelum ni je. Masa mula-mula sembur, korang akan terus bau kayu manis (cinnamon) yang agak kuat. Tapi kejap je, dalam beberapa saat lepas tu, bau sitrus limau mandarin pula yang take over bagi rasa segar. Yang syoknya, tak sampai seminit, bau dia terus bertukar jadi sebiji macam Prada Paradoxe—boleh kata dalam 90% sama! Kat kulit aku, bau Prada Paradoxe ni tahan agak lama sebelum dia pelan-pelan tukar jadi bau vanila sitrus yang lembut. Bau kayu manis yang memula tadi tak hilang terus pun, cuma dia jadi subtle gila, kena betul-betul amati baru perasan. Dari segi performance dengan ketahanan pula, kalau sembur kat baju memang jauh lagi tahan lama berbanding kat kulit. Cuma kalau kat baju, bau dia tak banyak berubah sangat. Kalau kat kulit hujung-hujung dia jadi bau vanila yang lembut, kat baju pula dia maintain kombinasi best antara limau mandarin, vanila, dengan rempah. Tapi apa-apa pun, vibe Prada Paradoxe tu memang pekat lagi kat baju. Overall, perfume ni memang ngam teruk buat wangian harian. Sesuai sangat kalau nak bawa pergi dating dengan partner, lepak santai dengan kawan kat tempat indoor, ataupun pakai pergi kerja hari-hari. Tapi, adjust sikit, elakkan pakai kalau cuaca kat luar tengah panas terik atau masa korang tengah buat aktiviti lasak yang berpeluh-peluh. Takut nanti bila bercampur dengan peluh dengan bahang panas, bau dia boleh jadi agak tengik dan pening pula kepala orang sebelah. Senang cerita, kalau korang memang minat bau Prada Paradoxe tapi nak vibe yang ada kelainan sikit—macam ada touch vanila dengan kayu manis yang warm—korang confirm akan suka perfume ni! ENGLISH VERSION: Just a quick disclaimer: I've never actually smelled the original Amouage Love Delight. So, my thoughts on this scent are based entirely on comparing it to other perfumes I've used before. Right from the first spray, you get hit with a pretty strong cinnamon scent. It doesn't last long, though—after just a few seconds, the citrusy mandarin orange notes take over and really freshen things up. Interestingly, within a minute, the aroma shifts completely and smells incredibly close to Prada Paradoxe. I'd say it's almost a 90% match! On my skin, that Prada Paradoxe DNA sticks around for quite a while before slowly drying down into a soft, creamy vanilla citrus. The initial cinnamon doesn't disappear completely, but it becomes very subtle and is only really noticeable if you're looking for it. When it comes to performance, spraying it on your clothes will make it last way longer than on your skin. However, the scent profile on fabric stays pretty linear. While on the skin it dries down to a soft vanilla, on clothes, it holds onto that harmonious blend of mandarin, vanilla, and spices. Through it all, the Prada Paradoxe identity remains very distinct. Overall, this is a fantastic daily fragrance. It’s absolutely perfect for a date night, hanging out with friends indoors, or as your everyday office scent. That being said, I'd strongly suggest avoiding it if you're going to be out in the scorching heat or doing heavy, sweaty physical activities. If it mixes with too much sweat and heat, the scent runs the risk of becoming a bit cloying and overwhelming. In short, if you love Prada Paradoxe but want a little twist with warm touches of vanilla and cinnamon, you’re definitely going to love this perfume!

Got this one September 2025 having been influenced on tiktok. I did not like it at first because my bottle came with a heavy pink pepper note (or those little tiny powdery pink sweets) and I don't like that taste or the smell so I put it away as I bought other perfumes. Picked it up from my dresser two months later and boy does it smell way, way better. No massive pink pepper note. That's all gone and it's now all well blended. Now almost a year later I can't smell any specific note jumping out as nothing stands out more than the other. They're all blended so well. But there's definitely ginger, some lime-like citrus, there's a touch of powder but the luxury type and it's creamy too. It leans feminine but I wear it and love it. On clothing this lasts days. On my skin it had decent projection for about three hours then turned into a skin scent after five. Maybe I got nose blind (perfumes are hard to score for such reasons). Decadent Wonder really stands by it's name. It's mysterious and delicious and for guys that aren't afraid to smell sweet whether they're masc or fem, it's a must try.

Unfortunately I haven't smelled to og, but the sister scent to this is definitely very close to Guidance so I figured I would give this one a try. Its very hard to describe what I'm getting from this perfume but it's absolutely gorgeous and addictive. Very well blended, but I did buy mine secondhand so it was able to mature properly before I recieved it. I'm unsure if this would be so lovely when fresh out the box. If the notes look good to you, or you love the original Amouage this is a beautiful scent. Word of caution, this is STRONG. My skin generally eats up scent without fail. I accidentally/on purpose used as many sprays as I would one of my other perfumes. I haven't met a perfume that has held up on my skin so I didn't forsee the danger in my actions. This stuff filled every room I walked into and she wouldn't quit. It lasted 8 hours on skin projecting loudly, 10 more soft but still present. That's unheard of for me. My shirt still smells of her very strongly 14 hours later. If you want beast mode, she's right here!

I've been wearing this all weekend, and for some strange reason, this smells like peaches to me. I get a strong peach note when I apply it. No idea why. I'm not complaining.... normally I don't like peach scents on myself, but for whatever reason, I smell peach, and so do other people. Originally I didn't like this as much, but we were also in spring, so it's been sitting for about 6 months just maturing, and when wearing it this time around, i like it so much better! Originally I thought this would be a declutter, but I couldn't find anyone who wanted it, so I kept it. I'm glad I did honestly. This might be one of my go-to perfumes for autumn now that the weather is cooling down. It's sweet and fruity, but also has enough depth to be interesting and slightly gourmand. It'll be interesting to see if my opinions change on this as I continue to wear it. It's definitely a compliment getter though. I've had compliments from people all weekend at work saying they like it.

Totally agree with the review saying this smells like bug spray but in a good way! For me when I first spray it, it’s bug spray with green notes and you get the mandarin. It quickly evolves and dries down to something other-worldly. I sprayed it tonight and when my kids and husband came into the room they all said it smelled great! When I asked my husband what it smelled like, he said it smelled like a creamsicle factory haha! But honestly, yeah I do get orange creamsicle, but it’s not gourmand to me. It’s very creamy smelling, you get a little floral and just a whiff of rum. I love it! Backup bottle worthy! But I could see this not being for everyone. I’ll say I also really enjoyed decadent wonder which is why I bought this. They aren’t similar, but if you like that one, you might also like this - I feel like they are similar vibes.

I have a decant of Amouage Love Delight that i love, and I have to say comparing the OG to Decadent Wonder is around a 95% match for me. Its really close. The sillage is identical in the air. And addictive. I also have Bujairami Radiant Romance (not on fragrantica at this time unfortunately) and I'd say that one is about 90% (still a great affordable option) similar. The dry down is where it's at for me though with DW as it's quite bright and fruity to start, but after 10 mins it's a delicious slightly boozy, creamy, vanilla with a touch of the fruity from the start. Definately a female fragrance. And Definately a keeper. For hot and cold months in my book.

This is a fantastic alternative to love delight. Tested love delight at Neiman Marcus and fell in love with it but couldn't find it on discounters and wasn't about to pay full price, so I opted for this as I've heard it does a pretty good job at capturing the original. And I must say, for the price, this is INCREDIBLE. I'm baffled at how close it is. It is such a beautiful and unique scent profile. It smells like a confident woman who knows what she wants and doesn't care what others think of her. It's bright and spicy at the same time, with a whisper of rose & vanilla. Maison Alhambra can be hit or miss, but this one is a 10/10 for me.

I bought this because I absolutely fell in love with Decadent Dream. Probably a bizarre reason but I thought if the quality is as good then why not... I absolutely love it. I don't have anything like this in my collection. Smooth, floral, creamy. I find this one quite hard to describe. The notes are so well blended it's hard to decipher each one. Smells luxurious, niche, feminine. Quite dense. Expensive. Probably cloying in high heat. I imagine nice on a summers eve or maybe a warm autumn day. Has lasting power and good projection. I picked this up for £17 and if I were told it retailed for 10x that I would believe it. 10/10 for me.

Opening not as great as in higher price range similar fragrances. But from 1-2 min onwards simply pure bliss and it keeps developing deeper tones. Prefer this to Amouage Love Delight. This brings such a heartwarming, elegant and gently rich note combination. On my skin it's very delicious, balanced, warm and interesting. Mandarin, ginger n rum keep it nicely spicy, balanced with jasmin, cinnamon n vanilla. One of my signature scents I keep returning to. (More than worth of money! Successful blind buy!) My husband adores it on me.

I have tested Love Delight a few times and have grown to love it. It’s been on my wish list for a while now but that price tag is 😩 So I blind bought this after hearing good reviews. And wow. I am not testing them side by side so I can’t comment on the exact similarity, but to my memory it smells like the exact same perfume. I can’t believe the likeness. This is a fantastic dupe at a fraction of the cost. You honestly don’t need the real thing if you have this. One of my best blind buys.

I picked this up just in time for fall! Worth getting a sample at least. I usually decant large bottles but may hoard this for myself. Just opened it and I'm getting powdered cinnamon, that cypriol and a little ginger. Super smoothed out (maybe by the vanilla) and seems super balanced. Feels crazy niche like I shouldn't own it. I randomly get wofts of gentle florals brightened by the mandarin. Excited to see if this vanilla starts to show up as it ages.

Wow, Maison Alhambra did a great job here!😮 For my nose, and without maturation this is a bit greener, and less cinnamony than Love delight, but the differences are hardly noticeable. Decadent wonder beats the OG in longevity and sillage, which is crazy! I was thinking about purchasing a full bottle of Love delight, but I gave a shot to this before I go bankrupt for the OG, and I can say my bank account has been saved now. Loveloveloveit!😍

I absolutely love this scent, i smelled love delight a while ago and absolutely fell in love. What i did not fall in love with is the price point, when i discovered this dupe my boyfriend got it for me and i fell in love. To my nose it smells 1:1 to the actual love delight (i compared it to a tester i had of love delight) It has great performance and smells great

I'd say this comes as a pretty screechy bug repellent in the opening, but in the best possible way and not far from the OG version.. maybe a little more synthetic. As it dries down, boy, you're in for a treat... 90% similar to Love Delight. Totally worth getting for such an affordable price tag. I can totally see this going viral pretty soon.

Amazing everyday perfume. All year rounder. I've had it for quite some time, its citrusy fresh and sweet floral. Delighful scent and cheap. This is one of maison alhambra's gems for sure.

Love it! But why is tuberose not a listed note???

I haven't smelled Amouage Love Delight, so I can't compare this to the original, let's start with that! I'm not usually a flormand lover, but I adore purple flowers and this unique combination of notes really caught my eye. The opening is bright with a tiny moment of sharpness before settling into mandarin and ginger in that order. The mandarin isn't overly juicy or citrusy, it has more of a rind-like feel. There's a faint powdery spice too, maybe it's the cinnamon? It could be the ginger too, I can't be sure! The spices certainly give it a nice warmth. The heliotrope arrives very quickly, and this is where the fragrance really shines for me. It's soft, slightly almondy and powdery in texture. There's a beautiful moment where the heliotrope, ginger and mandarin are perfectly balanced and wow, that's easily my favourite part of the fragrance! I get a hint of jasmine, but it's delicate and never indolic. I don't smell the rose at all unfortunately. As it dries down, a green note starts to creep in, which I think is the cypriol! It grounds the fragrance nicely so it never becomes overly sweet or floral. The powdery texture of the heliotrope fades away and the base takes over, but everything stays beautifully blended. I still catch little flashes of mandarin, while the cypriol (with what could be cocoa or rum?) rounds everything out. I don't really detect the vanilla strangely. This is a very interesting fragrance and unlike anything I've smelled before. It takes you on a real journey. It's maybe a touch too perfume-y for my taste, but that's just personal preference. I'd say it leans very feminine. I'm not sure how old my sample is, so I'll let it mature a little and revisit it. I'm definitely curious to get my nose on Love Delight and see how they both compare!

I owned and wore Amouage Love Delight for quite some time. I adore Love Delight but struggle to afford any Amouage perfume. I'm very familiar with Amouage 'cause I also own and wear Love Tuberose, Portrayal Woman, Memoir Woman and Guidance. After several days of consistent wear and liking Decadent Wonder a whole lot, I find the perfume's opening caustic & rough. The initial spray of DW gives an accord that is exceptionally hard on my nose and body. It may be intense ginger & cinnamon that do not land well with me. I find the opening phase borderline intolerable. As the perfume develops, Decadent Wonder is 90% Love Delight with some clunkiness, less smoothness. For me, the notes in Decadent Wonder are not as seamlessly blended as the notes in the OG. As the middle notes emerge, DW gives creamy, smooth, floral, powdery, cocoa-vanilla notes with a vibrant, earthy greenness in its dry-down. The dry-down phases between Decadent Wonder and Love Delight are indiscernible. Sadly, it takes nearly 90 minutes for DW's harsh, astringent opening to abate. Only when the opening dwindles do I experience the heart & base of this perfume, which are lovely. Hopefully, Decadent Wonder will settle down and become better balanced with time.

Initially, I get a birst of powdery rose, and orange. The rose isn't harsh and the ginger starts to show up. Before you know it, the other floral notes come in and I do get an expensive bar of soap but then next before I even realise it, the florals tone down, and there is a sweetness that surfaces, maybe cocoa powder, but it is very much in the background yet present. I don't pick up on the boozy element. The dry down is a sweet floral sprinkled with cocoa. This is a very unique and elegant scent to me. I have not had anything like it in my collection and although I have not gotten my nose on Love Delight for me to compare, I will say that Decadent wonder is lovely and the quality is good. I would say it is a beast once sprayed on but I didn't smell it while out a few hours later and I oversprayed so I am not so sure about it's lasting power but it is strong upon spraying and takes you through a journey.

I haven't smelled Love Delight, but from what I did smell, this is kinda like creamier, a bit more powdery and definitely juicer (mandarin) Armani Code. I like it a lot, but I'm not crazy about it. I would choose Code over this if I had to downsize my collection (I actually am downsizing, take a look at my profile for what I have for sale, lots of discontinued gems!). I will probably use this a bit and resell it later.

I'm not familiar with the original, but this one smells like cinnamon + citrus + boozy vanilla in the drydown. It's a little fresh, but mostly sweet. I like it! I associate it with cozy winter times, although many people recommended it for spring and summer.

I am still just o.k with the scent as this feels too opulent, too much and does not change during wear which makes me impatient with it. Ginger, mandarin, rose, vanilla and more. Everything separately is pretty. Together it creates a discord. Cacophony. Very rich scent that is likeable if only it would be more of a changer. With time it gains solar and carroty nuances that add to the cacophony. I bought it out of curiosity as it was supposed to be close to Guidance by Amouage but now that I have Guidance it is certainly not similar. Lasts 2 days on skin and survives shower. Scent profile reminds me of a richer Devotion Intense by Dolce & Gabbana. The same sweet and fruity- floral hazelnuts with extreme persistence.

First impression - citrusy hazelnut. Smells niche. I feel mandarin and ginger. Cypriol oil, vanilla, jasmine and a drop of rum. It is aromatic and sweet yet something irritates me in far background. Maybe the cypriol oil making it unisex. Surprisingly fresh but warm at the same time. A good fit for autumn. Rather for a day. It reminds me of Just Cavalli Gold. I feel also sunny, caroty and coconutty nuances. It is strong and long-lasting, despite shower and washing my wrist with soap it persists the next day.

Blind bought based on the notes and reviews here. To me it's OK but not great. I don't get any gourmand notes at all. Only a little bit of citrus but more powdery rose. A lot of rose. Will let it mature for a while and see if I like it better then but I'm quite disappointed.

I naively thought that it maybe will smell like Armani - code femme, or at least would have it's vibe, but unfortunately no, I don't see Code femme in this perfume dna even close. Decadent Wonder scent is really heavy on yellow flowers and it's giving a flashback to me of yellow wildflowers in the village field. To my nose this perfume dna is close to being considered like aunty like perfume because of the yellow wildflower heaviness in this scent.

Love Delight is my favorite perfume, I own it, I so can compare. It is very specific fragrance, which get stuck in your mind. This Wonder - I was really curious if they got it. The did - 85% I'd say. I haven't got the chance yet to let it sit, so I believe it will get smoother with time. Now I'd say it's very much LD but more green. On the first spray I smelled something minty. I guess it might be the cypriol that is somehow more potent in this frag than in the OG. In my opinion, most of arab clones have some note similar in them (if you own more arab frags, you probably know what I'm talking about, this little plasticky smell). It might disappear or it might get stronger with time but for now, it's the only Thing I don't particularly enjoy in this fragrance, but it is a decent clone to Love Delight. The OG is so superb that it would be almost insane to get the same from this much much much cheaper alternative, but it is okay. You'll get LD, just not as smooth, and with a little after shave nuance. It's 7.5/10 from me. Update after letting it sit (and also wear more): It's amazing! Got more creamy. Lasts long. It's not as a powerhouse as the og, but maybe I'm glad for it. If you like the original, even if you love the original - you'll be happy with this one for sure. 9/10 from me

I got this, and my mother has this original Amouage one. They are to my nose identical, tested them on both hands. And I daresay the cheapie had better longevity on me 8-9 hours where at the end it becomes skin scent. It is, however, quite linear and perhaps a tad louder. Projection is about an arm, soft trail. Love it

I blind bought this perfume based on the reviews. To me nothing special and not a complex fragrance. Safe for the office and everyday wear. The ginger is def noticeable but more like a artificial ginger powder with some flowers. I hoped it would be stronger and have more sillage.

I love it! I honestly never tried the OG but this one is very unique and pleasant. Very ”citrusy” but still sweet and a lil’ gourmandy (not 2 much though). The bottle is SOLID! 8/10.

Is it just me or does this smell alot like qaed al fursan (the white one) , there is that ylang ylang or jasmine note thats very strong although none od these are listed ..

It very much resembles the original but it's more linear and less complex, there's less nuance. The creaminess of the original is harsher - but it's very similar!
