Forbidden Love

Update: These Alhambra perfumes are a real lesson in maturing out fragrances. This Becomes an Ambery Cherry leather after a few Months. A bit of boozy cinnamon if huffed close. Just crazy delicious. I'm wearing this today and loving every bit. My TF bottle never smelled this long or this great. I just sprayed on a little this morning and can smell the wafting boozycherry yumminess. I get the cherries and liqueure. i really dont get wood or anything else on me which is fine. there might be the plum etc but basically a nice boozy cherry. I love the cherry scents and own quite a few cherry based scents. I love this scent because it's tart with clean side. Not overly masculine or feminine . Playful and totally not business oriented on a man imo. I have no bad words for this blend just lots of love for 20some odd $. I have to admit these Alhambra Dupes are incredible value for the money. I got a bunch of grey market Tom Ford that I have rebought in all the Alhambra Dupes. They may well be Tom Ford super fakes because they do smell amazingly good but not for long. Who knows at this point. In any case 20$ a bottle gave me a tour of what I liked without high price tags. Weirdly grey market Givenchy Gentleman Society is totally real and potent. I had a relationship buying from these guys way back but some products are fakes cleverly now. This drove me to buy alternates and be careful when I shop grey market now. All the TF I have replaced with Dupes are strikingly close , some not perfect but have aged into better products ( Dark Aoud). I just got this one and it smells like my Lost Cherry Bottle. Not disappointed .

Very accurate real sour-ish cherry perfume! Not too sweet, not juvenile. Not cheap. Love it!

I really wanted to like this, but on my skin it is just too sweet and nauseating. On the blotter I could smell a really nice balanced cherry, a bit dark and juicy. On my skin it becomes a very linear and cloying cherry, like an overpowering artificial sweetener, nothing smoky or crisp. I do not enjoy heavy/ sweet perfumes, so this is not a match for me. Might be a good fit for those who prefer sugary gourmand scents, but best to test before buying.

I love cherry, so I wanted to like this so bad. Unfortunately, the opening is so sharp and cloying, that I just can not stand it on my skin, especially considering that the drydown is a 6/10 at best. If you LOVE sharp, in your face sour cherry, this is for you.

Smells so industrial and too sweet, if a 10 years old girl made a fragrance it would be this one

Lovely Chèrie in 'new' clothing. Well, it was fine-lining it with the name and bottle design almost identical to TF Lost Cherry... Whatever the name, it is, however, a lovely smoky cherry.
