III L'Impressio

I bought it last month and have it sit for few weeks. Upon the package arrival, I sprayed it on my wrist and I immediately got a floral burst, light, bright, and enjoyable smell. I can't stop smelling my wrist for the next hour. But then after macerated it for few weeks, the scent has shifted a bit. Now it's more fruity floral, with a fresh watermelon in the opening then turned into kinda rosey, watermelony infused water. Refreshing floral aquatic scent!! It's now become my go-to fragrance for the office or any daytime occasion. Living in a tropical climate, I've noticed it doesn't last long on my skin due to the humidity, so I have to respray it every 2-3 hours as it fades away quickly on my skin. However, it lingers well on clothes, which is why I prefer to spray it there. Its projection is moderate, but still can leave a bit trail as you walk by (note: only during 1st hour tho). Overall, I'm okay with the weak longevity and reapply it 2-3x a day, it's so cheap anyway!

Absolutely amazing! I was reading the other reviews saying how similar it is to the original. I had it in my cart for a long long time. I told myself that it was worth giving it a try. I wasn't going to try a dupe for the original because at this point the price really isn't that bad. You can pick up a bottle for under $50. But I bit the bullet. So so so glad that I did! It smells exactly like the original. I dare to say it smells a little better? Almost like this is what the original was trying to be. Nonetheless, I will be buying another bottle or two just to have in my stash. This is one of my go-to scents. I also don't understand the notes, strawberry and watermelon. It really does give me grapefruit feel. But maybe it's just me.

When I got this it wasn’t bc of its inspiration, it was bc of another fragrance in this scent profile I had gotten. I have several with this profile bc I love them. This was perfect in our 90+ humidity. I left a trail and it was never cloying. I wore to Summer day parties, it lasted all day. I wore out for the night, she lasted until morning. The fruits last throughout the wear, they blend so beautifully with the florals, and then out of no where the soft smell of smoke sneaks a peak. The performance was pretty good out of the box, but now she is like that steady friend you can always depend on. A very easy reach that can carry work, casual, or a night out. I smile a lot while wearing this when I catch a whiff, ahh😊 20/10

Wow! I wore this on one arm and the current version of the OG at Sephora and could not detect any difference over the entire wear. Both are long lasting for a fragrance like this- about 7 hours. I think this one started to fade maybe an hour before the OG, but I don’t know for sure that I sprayed equal amounts. Like someone said earlier, the OG is reasonably priced so I almost didn’t get this, but I needed to add something small for free shipping. So glad I did! If you love D&G L’Imperatrice, you will love this. Reviews that are calling the new latafdah fragrance a dupe are incorrect - they are nothing alike after the opening. Get this one!

Nose Note #1004 I'm comparing this to Fragrance World 3 L'Emperesse. If you don't compare them side by side it's as if there's no difference. And from memory they both smell identical to the OG. But among the two I like L'Impressio better, because it has a noticeably fruitier base, whereas L'Emperesse is more ozonic and soapy. That's all I have to say. You still get the same experience as with the OG, and the performance on all three is about the same, i.e. not fantastic, but OK for a summer fragrance. I guess Tamima is still the best choice because you get the same with but with absolutely immaculate presentation. 7.8/10, I love the OG

I never smelled the original, but was in the market for an aquatic scent. TikTok influencer Daniel Rene influenced me and I immediately purchased it. As soon as it arrived, I sprayed it on and reminded me of BBW Midnight Swim. Clean shampoo, fresh aquatic scent, office friendly and perfect for the summer. This will definitely be on rotation especially on days when I don’t know what to wear and want to smell good.

Sweeet , definite strawberry fruity, a tiny floral and aquatic. Freshie scent that is great in hot climates. With the humid weather- I'll be grabbing for it a LOT. The opening is almost rhubarb or grapefruit that isn't listed? Easy grab for daily casual wear. Amazing price. Pretty and fun.

This was like 14 bucks. Insane! Smells identical to the DG one. It’s pink peonies, watery and fresh, with a cooling watermelon. It’s elegant, no candy notes here. So fresh for hot weather. For a freshie it’s got amazing lasting power. 4-5 hours on skin, 8+ hours on clothes.

I'm wearing the B&BWs' Watermelon Mojito with this lovely fragrance and am enthralled with myself! lol I fell in love with this last year and love wearing it with different things! Other inspirations of the OG, especially, layer well with this!

I was very impressed at how similar this is to L'Imperatrice. Same DNA, minus the 'onion' scent from the original. Can still smell it on my skin 1 day later. Recommended if you love fruity aquatic perfume!

This is so easy going and fresh. I was iffy about buying it because of watermelon note afraid it was going to be nasty like "ana abiyedh coral" but this is much fresher and less offensive watermelon scent.

I don't know what the notes stated are talking about there is 0 woody-ness? in this perfume. This is a summer BANGER, literally smells like a sunny day, this is an ozonic watermelon bomb, and I'm obsessed.

Just bought it. It smells fresh and sophisticated. love the opening, melon, rose and magnolia. a daytime and nighttime fragrance as well. I don't know the original D&G but I just love this one.

This is delicious!! I've not smelt the original but oommgggggg smells like a yummy lemon dessert of some sort mixed with a fresh aquatic sort of smell. Would absolutely blind buy this!!

To me this smells almost exactly like L'Imperatrice Limited Edition(Watermelon, Strawberry, Smoke)!

Really Long Lasting and unbelievably similar to the real thing...

Floral laundry detergent. When I first spray it, it feels like I'm sniffing laundry detergent powder from the container. If you want to smell like you just got your clothes out of the washing machine, I think this would be right up your alley. It lasts longer on clothes. I noticed that it has some of the Dolce Gabbana The One pour Femme perfume DNA, especially when layered with VS Coconut Passion. You can also layer it with Britney Spears' Fantasy. For the price, I think they did a pretty good job with it. PS: It may be triggering for people with sinus issues, so be cautious not to overspray.

I have L'Imperatrice and it's running out, so I gave this a chance as a dupe. It's quite good, really. I have not yet compared side by side but if I smelled this without looking at the bottle I would have thought is the OG. I sprayed on clothes (as I always do; my skin just doesn't keep perfume) and after 5 hours it's still noticeable. If like me, you want an alternative for the D&G, then this is a good choice.

For the price, it’s absolutely gorgeous. I dropped my original D&G l’impératrice and it shattered on the bathroom floor. After I was done cursing at myself, I found this as a dupe online and read all the great reviews. I’m so glad I bought it, it’s a really really nice fragrance and I can highly recommend it as a dupe for the D&G original.

Strawberries right from the start with a little bit of flowers. Powdery too. Nicely blended together, smooth and inoffensive, easily wearable, fresh and uplifting. Not in your face type of scent but people will notice it, very enjoyable! It's quiet unisex and lasts for hours, absolute banger specially considering the price!

Ozonic watermelon bomb as @Blindbuyqueen said , its good for the summer , i layer it with dry musk like Arabian Oud special musk and the combination is great.....

This was the last chance I gave myself with Alhambra, at first it has a lovely watermelon scent which is my favorite but the a heavy chemical get over it that makes me nauseous and nervous. HATE IT

This is very similar to the OG, but I've only smelt the OG tester twice so I can't give a percentage similarity. There should be testers at your local shops. It's very fresh fruit tart/sour with wateriness, with a fresh fruit fruity tinge, particularly of watermelon. Maison Alhambra L'Impressio also smells very similar to Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe Vibe (clone of LV Pacific Chill), but L'Impressio is a bit less tart and has a watermelon tinge, whereas Jean Lowe Vibe (LV Pacific Chill) is more tart and has a fresh apricot tinge. Also, D&G Anthology L'Imperatrice 3 came out in 2009, before LV Pacific Chill (2023), so it's the DNA OG among the two. Also, apparently D&G Anthology L'Imperatrice 3 (2009) and its newer re-release D&G L'Imperatrice (2020) are basically exactly the same. It was initially part of an 'Anthology' line with multiple other fragrances (hence the number 3). Both the D&G and the LV smell similar to Maison Alhambra Luxe Chic (clone of Bond No 9 - Nolita). Maison Alhambra Luxe Chic is even less tart, more watery-musky, and has a tinge of white florals. My personal preference, as a guy, is L'Impressio (L'Imperatrice) > Jean Lowe Vibe (Pacific Chill) > Luxe Chic (Nolita). They're all unisex.

Loved the opening and middle but the dry down was not my favorite. Dry down just kinda smells like bath soap to me. Maybe I can use it for some layering to get some different notes on the dry down. Opening----just beautiful. Middle ----very nice. Ending---not my fav.

How is a 20 dollar version of a dolce and gabbana better than the original?!im genuinely curious, it smells the same lasts and projects twice the original

This gives me a headache 😫 😩. It smells nice but I would not be able to use it.
