THE CLEAREST AND MOST HONEST REVIEW OF THE MAISON ALHAMBRA JEAN LOWE FANTASME The notes listed for Fragrantica are completely wrong; there's no trace of leather or anything like that. This is definitely a clone of Imagination. Of all my clones (Aqua Dubai, Hawas Kobra, Art of Arabia 1, Jean Lowe Fantasme), comparing Fantasme to the original, I can confidently say this is the cheapest and best clone, the most similar, I'd give it a 93% similarity (it's hard to spot the differences). Hawas Kobra is second with a 40% similarity (mine has no soapiness at all, and the citrus and ginger are too sweet and carbonated, not creamy). I know Jean Lowe's clones are bad and very synthetic, but this one is GREAT. So, I'll tell you about the differences from the original Louis Vuitton: 1. The first difference is the biggest and most noticeable one. Fantasme has a very strong ginger note for the first 5 minutes, then it noticeably subsides and the amount becomes good, but still noticeable a little more than in the original. 2. It has the perfect amount of soapiness for me, it's OBVIOUSLY there, but a little less than in the original, OR it's not that there's less soapiness, but the top notes linger longer, because after the opening of the original, the juicy citrus notes immediately disappear, and only soap is felt. In Jean Lowe Fantasme, this happens too, but the citrus notes don't disappear completely and become more "dry" and spicy. They are not as bright as they were at the beginning, but in the background, barely perceptible, but still slightly there. —— But the final, final minutes of Drydown (the last 1 - 1.5 hours) are ABSOLUTELY the same as in Louis Vuitton, because only a soapy, slightly black tea-like note remains, and a sweet, spicy cinnamon appears. 3. In Fantasme, as in other clones, the black tea is not as "natural" as in the original. Yes, it's the right amount here, but it's not as herbal and "green," but still of good quality. 4. And of course, the feature that distinguishes ALL Imagination clones from the original is the chemical smell. Yes, there's less of it here than in Art of Arabia (where the citrus notes really burn your nose with cheap chemical smell), here it's within normal limits, and not irritating at all, but it is noticeable in the opening. I think the only chemical note here is the ginger, it's quite sharp. This is normal for budget fragrances. In terms of longevity, yes, Fantasme, at 4-5 hours, is inferior to Aqua Dubai and Hawas Kobra, but not dramatically, as others describe. However, its longevity is much better than Art of Arabia 1 (which lasts 2-3.5 hours). For some reason, all the fragrances don't last long on my skin: Aqua Dubai, for example, lasts 5 hours, and Hawas Kobra - 6. I don't know why. The sillage is pretty good. In my opinion, Fantasme has no problems with longevity or sillage. I don't know why people complain. I have a batch from January 2026. I'm sure you won't regret buying Jean Lowe Fantasme; it's EXCELLENT, not even for its low price, but even among more expensive clones. If Jean Lowe Fantasme liquid were poured into an Imagination bottle, I wouldn't even know it was a clone. I'm going to buy a couple more Fantasme for the future, it's too good, and I know what I'm talking about. Please believe me. I've described everything very accurately.

Hi LV, Some of us have noticed your team is using a burner account farm (approx 300 accounts it seems) or some other method (forced conspiracy with Fragrantica via legal threats?) to screw up the Fragrantica ratings on absolutely all LV clones, even off-the-radar ones from Bujairami, Al Absar, Asten, Volare, Zimaya, Paris Corner, Lattafa, Fragrance World, French Avenue, Rasasi, Arabiyat Prestige, Al Haramain, Khadlaj, Afnan, Maison Asrar, Rayhaan, Armaf, The Woods Collection, Mykonos, Velixir, J./J Dot Junaid, Jo Milano, Alexandria, Dua, Alt Fragrances, Oakcha, etc. We understand that your team's primary intention would be to hide clones from the 'reminds me of' sections of your own LV Fragrantica pages. This is understandable for the well-known Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe line that receives a lot of upvotes. However, for the lesser-known clones that won't rank in your 'reminds me of' section, there's no need to screw up their ratings. There's also especially no need to totally screw up the 'reminds me of' section beyond simply downvoting comparisons with your own LV fragrances. And there's absolutely no need to screw up the notes pyramid ratings. I've noticed all of these tactics across multiple LV clones on Fragrantica. Please stop. Most of us are too broke to buy your fragrances in the meantime anyway. Some of us will buy your fragrances in the future if we find particular clone favourites, but to a lesser extent if your team keeps reducing brand-affinity by enshittifying Fragrantica. If your team doesn't stop, or its actions even leads to other fragrance companies following suit, and Fragrantica goes to shit for affordable clones, I'm sure some of us will happily and consistently post reviews with extensive clone recommendations on your own LV Fragrantica pages and on YouTube reviews of LV fragrances, and likewise for any other brands that follow suit. We will be watching future clone listings. :) --- Review for Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe Fantasme: Very, very good Imagination clone, smell-wise. I've compared almost all Middle Eastern Imagination clones side-by-side, although I've only smelt Imagination in-store twice. (I haven't tried Bujairami Hectic, nor the Fragrance World clone yet.) Jean Lowe Fantasme is most balanced among its Middle Eastern counterparts, and based on my vague and unreliable memory, most accurate - even slightly more-so than AP Marwa. It is slightly punchier than Marwa, whereas Marwa is slightly too smooth to the point of being slightly less interesting and slightly less accurate. The tea in the Jean Lowe is noticeable and balanced. The only issue - a major issue - is longevity absolutely sucks and is the worst of all Imagination clones. Do note that although Jean Lowe Fantasme is basically perfection smell-wise, the sister company's Lattafa clone is very inaccurate and is totally missing the tea, and is actually a citrus-soap twist rather than a clone.

I bought decant of LV Imagination simply because of the hype. Once I spray it, I understand why people like it. I like the DNA, and fits my taste: clean, airy, polite, fresh but not too spicy. But it is quite over hyped for what it is. It nowhere fits 300€ / 100 ml price. Imho, LVI should cost 150 to 200 € max, which I believe it would be the price if it were released under other brands in LVMH Group. It lacks uniqueness aspect to be in its current price point. I am not saying it doesn't smell good. It is! I told you that I like the DNA and idea of that fragrance. It does smell good, but no way I would spend 300€ for this kind of scent, even though I have spent in total thousands of Euro for fragrances. Hence I have been looking for "alternatives" for this DNA (I am not looking for 100% similar) with more make-sense price. So far, compared to previously purchased Aqua Dubai, Zara Sunrise [never remember its stupid full name] intense, Marwa and Caline Pure Vision (this one I tested in local store, didn't purchased), this Jean Lowe Fantasme, which is the last purchase/test among all, is the best imo, with Marwa comes close in 2nd (price in Germany is twice Fantasme tho), followed by Aqua Dubai, then 5.75 € Caline Pure Vision and last place would be Zara Sunrise Intense (it has harsh ginger that I don't like). I slightly like Fantasme more than Marwa is because Marwa is "too clean" compared to Fantasme imo, but still great tho. Small note: when I purchased Aqua Dubai (first among all those), I didn't even know that it is Imagination inspired frag lol. I simply blind bought it due to the listed notes. Back to Fantasme, it catches the airy, soapy, soft ginger, tea note and freshness offered by Imagination. But again, for hardcore Imagination fanboys out there: I am not saying it is same level with your beloved, overpriced fragrance, okay? Relax, don't get triggered lol. Imagination is surely still smoother and better ingredients (another note: why Imagination DNA fits my taste maybe also due to the fact that the perfumer of Imagination is same perfumer of my current most beloved fragrance, Bvlgari Pour Homme EDP). But being 10-20% better than Fantasme or Marwa doesn't justify me to buy Imagination for 12 times price than this Fantasme, or 6 times than Marwa. So, for now, my hunt for this DNA is over. So I decide not to purchase Orientica Azure Fantasy or Bujairami Hectic anymore, although I read they are also great. Fantasme and Marwa can fullfil my itch for this DNA.

Traded away my LV Imagination a while ago. Got a couple great discontinued fragrances for it. I definitely made out on the deal, considering how good the dupes are at replicating Imagination. None of them are bad, per se. I had Marwa, and gifted it away. I had a small bottle of the Jo Milano floating around. I still have Saheb Intense, and Aqua Dubai, and maybe one other one somewhere. And now this one from Maison Alhambra. And I am going to make a bold claim here. I think this is the absolute best of the ones I have owned/tested. I did decant about 10-15ml of my OG Imagination bottle for just these opportunities, and this Fantasme offering is incredibly close. If you say otherwise, I will literally not be able to take you seriously. I have worn both. Simultaneously. And sought the opinions of others. This is insanely close. Virtually indistinguishable. And it lasts just about the same amount of time, and projects about the same, too. I cannot take these detractors that posted below seriously. It is obvious that they are operating with some kind of agenda. I'll tell you, that from my experience owning the LV originals (more than I care to admit, I was an idiot for buying into the name/hype), these Maison Alhambra dupes are a killer deal for what they cost and the quality they have. That is just my opinion, as I'm not telling anyone what to spend their money on. There is definitely some Tom Foolery afoot..... 1: the notes are 100% incorrect. 2: click on the author of the posts to see if they have genuine activity on there... over the span of few months or even a year(if a poster has only been active for two weeks & there is nothing on his shelf... and nothing that he has or wants to get on his profile page... consider that profile a BURNER/BOT/FAKE) 3: is it LV in their marketing team?... that is throwing all of the negative/fake/BOT POSTS? I've been a fan of the Jean Lowe series.. for quite a while.. first bottle that I picked up was immortal... then Noir... There's a signature note that LV uses... It's like a funk.... but in a good way. Nobody wants a fragrance that performs bad..... they want something that smells good.. but also performs As for LV imagination, the one that I have been using is HAWAS KOBRA.. for the performance... From what I've smelled so far it's very VERY close... so far I'm getting 4 to 5 hours.. i'm hoping that if I shelve it for a little while.. the longevity will increase...

I just bought this because LV seems to be pushing hard on this website. If they don't want us even knowing the notes!? Imagination should be something without limits. They should go after all the IP brand theft. eBay is full of fakes. Loads of online stores with knockoff product. 1000$ for recent cologne line. $5000 for the fancy cap line. We don't all have 6k USD to pick up these two recent scent series. Attacking community that actually brings you customers? I have spent and had others spend based on this website. You'll kill loyalty sabotaging reviews and votes. I suggest stop it. Don't threaten the website with fancy lawyers and non-disclosure threats. Wow is all I can say longevity isn’t the best but shit for 30$ I ain’t complaining . They definitely stayed true to the dna ... was stopped twice today first day wearing it ... one guy came up to me and said I hate to be weird but what is that your wearing it’s phenomenal .. he was like 12 ft away . I said Fantasme by Jean Lowe MA .. he said it reminds me of LV IMAGINATION honestly that’s why I asked I had a decant and cannot afford a bottle ... never smelt one this close .. I showed him and he literally chatted with me out to my car and chopped it up as he bought two bottles .. this stuff is insanely close in my opinion for the price point obviously quality oils aren’t the same but shit for all those whining and bitching wtf do u want for 25-30$ this shit is gas addictive

This is another umbeliavable case, simply hard to believe that a fragance with this cost delivers such an amazing scent. Bought it right after it was released, barely could find reviews so it was a real blind purchase, and totally worth. Smells rich, comfortable and is incredible accurate to Imagination. If you spray both - one in each arm - will be truly hard to identify which one is the OG. Scent by itself is great straight out of the glass, but a month of maceration helps with longevity. Off course, this is not a powerhouse, but you cant get a good 6hs with it. I also have Marwa, which is pretty good, but I find it even better and cost me 1/3 of Marwa. Type of case that worth buying a second one just to have a backup when it finishes.

I'll definitely be picking this up. I own all of the other Alhambra dupes. Sold my LV's off, as a matter of fact. I had several. Say what you will. I don't care. These are all very good placeholders for those. They aren't 1-to-1, but they get really close, for the cost of a good burger. I have no reason to believe this Imagination dupe will be any different. (I own a few, as a fun experiment). They're just fragrances, folks. Get a grip. And fragrantica really needs to do something about the trolls and children on this site. It is becoming rather silly.

Just go look at LV Imagination notes for this. It's one of the better dupes. As far as value goes, this is fantastic. My favorite Imagination dupe is still Bujairami Hectic because it goes heavy on citrus which I love, but Fantasme is a more well rounded alternative for cheaper. ($40 CAD) The worst part of this is the projection. It projects for about 2 hours before becoming a skin scent. The upside is the skin scent lasts for 8+ hours. The dry down is just a beautiful clean soapiness. I'm always happy to start my day with this. 9/10

i had Kobra, i have decants of the OG Imagination, Aqua Dubai and Marwa and i'd rank only Kobra over this and even then only because Kobra is a beast mode frag. this is the closest to Imagination of them all, the least soapy and the most tea/ginger leaning. it doesn't project that great but lasts a bit longer than Marwa for me. also lmao at LV literally using bots/fangirls to downvote every clone of their frags in existence on this site. not surprised one bit since they make bank off scamming snobs

Just got my bottle in. This stuff is great. The notes are clearly wrong on this page and Louis Vuitton definitely has people messing with this fragrance page. The citrus note on the open is very unique and sticks around for a bit. Then you get this great clean soapy note. Verrrryyy clean soapy note. It’s addicting and done very well. Definitely synthetic but not in a bad way. Overall I’m glad i picked it up and as a fragrance on its own id rate it a 8.2/10

Landed today. Highly recommend. It's great out of the box as mentioned below. Not too sweet or heavy (like popular JPG summer scents are to me) Seems perfectly imagined and delivered. LV gets credit for developing the OG of course. If $360 is out of range for adding a fun intoxicating summer fragrance, $36 for this is completely worth it. I spent a wee bit more but I expect prices will go down a bit once at more discounters.

I have Majaaz Infused (strong tea), Al Haramain Dubai Nights (soapy), and I recently bought Kobra, though I haven't tested it yet. So far, Jean Lowe is my favorite. It smells lighter than the other dupes while still being clean, soapy, and slightly sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long on my skin, only a few measly hours. I'm hoping it improves after sitting for a while and macerating

I have a decant of Imagination and have this coming in the post looking forward to it and comparing to LV. wIll update. EDIT: Just got this and I agree the notes are100% wrong. That being said this is nice and fresh great fot hot summer days. It is not a 1 to 1 of Imagination I would say it gets you 80% there and for the price it is really good. For £20 you can not go wrong dirt cheap.

Nice bottle and atomizer. Scent is fantastic, feels fresh, clean, airy, very well balanced. Perfect for warm weather, but versatile enough for colder setups. It's that good. But longevity and projection are both terrible for me. A couple of hours and everything is gone, even on moisturized skin and clothes. Hopefully it'll get better with some maceration.

Very good take on imagination ~85% the way there, just way more citrusy which I do enjoy. On my skin it barely performs, completely gone by the 3rd hour. For 30€ this is a must buy, signature scent worthy anywhere, anytime. Just carry a decant with you if the perfomance is dookie on you as well. 8.5/10

This is really really smooth. Sprayed it side to side with kobra and Jean Lowe is the winner for smell. It’s so clean and uplifting , definitely a win. Buy this and immortel and you’ll be set. I think kobra wins on performance , but it doesn’t smell as close as this.

If you’re looking for the best Imagination alternative, look no further. This stuff is fire if you enjoy the DNA. It gets unbelievably close to the original without being screechy or overly soapy, and the performance right out of the box is a solid 7–8 hours.

Never smelt the LV but absolutely love this one on its own. Was in the elevator when 3 people who got off before me found me in my office later that day to ask what I was wearing. Need some more time to feel out the longevity but so far its been fantastic!

This is more Imagination than LV imagination is. Just get it. Aqua Dubai smells synthetic as fook. Marwa smells great but tea-heavy. This is just perfect, light, clean, with the right amount of tea and aromatic and citrus. Just perfect

This catches the airyness from LV perfect . For me the number 1 dupe and i tried a lot. But all except Mazzaaj had that syruppy thing about it . Fantasme maybe late to the game but is taking the duperace medal home. Job well done

Smelled stupidly close to OG and gave good projection for 3ish hours. Still able to smell even after 6 hours of working in 100 plus temps. Absolutely love this stuff. Notes are wrong btw, its imagination.

Bought this as a gift, was a good buy. Safe blind buy, more masculine than unisex. Not cloying at all, good for summer.

You know what’s crazy? I mean, I love the bottle design of this. You can definitely tell who they were inspired by with it. But I love Aqua Dubai more than I like this one. I think it’s because Aqua leans more into that laundry detergent, soapy vibe compared to this. I mean, this smells like all the other “inspired by” fragrances, really. I’ve never had Imagination, so you’ll never catch me saying it smells 100% like Imagination, but I have had Hersh 2, and it smells like that, but... a bit more... blue? I don’t find this one very long lasting, I think, but I might be nose blind. I opened the door for a colleague once, and he said, “DAMN, you open the door and this extreme cloud of perfume just hits me in the face.” I didn’t expect that, because I don’t smell it that strongly around me at all. But! I seriously got more compliments about this scent than most, if not all, fragrances I’ve had. Colleagues, people I got into the car with, shop clerks... I even went into the production lab area to the control room, which has these rugged men. I walked in, passed someone while doing my IT work, and he went, “MY GODDD, YOU SMELL AMAZING.” That’s not an exaggeration. In the 2.5 weeks that I wore this, I got more than 8 compliments. There’s a difference between a really good smelling perfume that gets compliments, and a good smelling perfume that constantly makes people tell you that you smell amazing, and this one is definitely that. Once again, beautiful bottle, nice atomizer sprayer. To me, it’s not that long lasting at all, but in practice it seems to perform differently. My overall opinion is, yeah... it’s alright. It smells like all the other 100 similar ones. I like Aqua better, but the masses seem to say otherwise. Genuinely, this is my most complimented fragrance so far.

We all know the note break down posted as of today June 29th, 2026 is still way off!... The fragrance itself creates a very calming tea and soap vibe. Nothing bold or off pudding!... It starts off with a citric and soft ginger opening then dries down into a slightly spiced tea and soap based scent. If you made a bar soap that smelled like an Arnold Palmer you would have the essence of what this fragrance is all about... I am getting about 4-5 hours falling then into a skin scent. Nothing ground breaking just a calming out of the shower vibe. Do I like it?... yes... I just don't understand the hype that has been created around this DNA. Worth the $30 I paid.

This is NEARLY what it inspires to be. I get a little more tea out of this than the OG, and I also get this very odd synthetic dry down between 45 mins and an hour and a half that smells pungent and almost rotten? I hope maceration fixes that issue. The atomizer, bottle and overall presentation are very nice for 30$. I really, really don't ever want to spend money on an LV product again due to business practices that I disagree with, and if maceration fixes my gripe about this then I won't have to. I like maison alhambra for the inexpensive, but good overall quality products that they come out with and will likely add summer vibes to the collection next.

It is VERY unfortunate to me that LV is seemingly dishonest/tampering with notes and reviews. This is the reason why I will not buy the OG, in addition this scent is mostly what the original is, and costs 10% of what the original does.

Bought this from all the comments i saw of people saying it was super close to imagination. Twice ive gotten comments on it smelling like a woman's perfume and another saying it smells like cheap air freshener. It almost feels like something you'd spray after your girl dookied at your house and she didn't want anyone to know. I really, really want to like this and part of me does. But it just misses the mark for me so far. I was coping until I had others comment on it as I wore it as well. Unless maceration fixes this, probably save your money on this one

The opening is so much better than Marwa, but without the longevity I realistically use this on my pants to help trail it along and to kill the bottle so I can never buy it again. They were late to the party on this DNA and didn’t even bring a single gift of nuance. There are far better clones that have performance and actually project. 4/10 super dissatisfied.

There is a massive, incredibly frustrating situation happening online right now regarding the note pyramids for Maison Alhambra Jean Lowe Fantasme. If you look it up on Fragrantica, retail sites, or general scent databases, they are listing a dark, heavy oriental pyramid (Cocoa, Oud, Leather, Patchouli, Caramel, and Incense). Those listed notes are 100% incorrect. It is a total database error. Jean Lowe Fantasme is actually a brand-new release from Maison Alhambra that targets Louis Vuitton Imagination. Because it is a clone of Imagination, the actual juice is a bright, watery-blue, ice-cold freshie built for high heat. The real note profile behaves like this: The Real Note Pyramid (Louis Vuitton Imagination DNA) Top Notes: Citron, Calabrian Bergamot, Sicilian Orange Heart Notes: Tunisian Neroli, Ceylon Cinnamon, Nigerian Ginger Base Notes: Chinese Black Tea, Ambroxan, Guaiac Wood, Olibanum (Frankincense).

I own this and Imagination. I have spent many days spraying one on each hand and comparing. I can confidently say Fantasme is a near 1:1 dupe of Imagination. If I had to give it a percentage, 95% the same as Imagination. The biggest difference to me is the initial spray. Fantasme is much more citrus heavy at first but after 5 minutes you can't tell which is which. The tea and soap accord is to die for. It's incredible what they have done here. It's so good that I've purchased 3 bottles so I can spray as much as I want. I'm confused by the comments on longevity. For me, this easily lasts 6 hours. On some cooler days, it can still be detected after 8 to 10 hours. I've had numerous people remark on what I'm wearing hours after applying. For the price, this can't be beat. Love the bottle and they nailed the color of the juice. Wearing this just makes me happy.

I have tried every clone there is for Imagination, none of them are 1:1 but they each do a specific "phase" of it pretty well. Fantasme is probably the best at the first 20 minutes or so of what Imagination smells like; Tea, Neroli, slight citrus. It's pretty similar to Montagne's Imaginary which is my most consistently used one out of all. Unfortunately none of them really get the dry down close enough to my liking except Marwa which has something off putting for me in it.

What is Fragrantica doing??? The notes listed are nowhere near the note of this scent. It's basically a copy of LV's Imagination. Fragrantica needs to sort itself out or it will lose its members soon enough. I tried this in-store yesterday and tested it on my skin. All I can say is that it smells exactly like Louis Vuitton Imagination—honestly, it's 1:1. I couldn't tell the difference. As for the performance, I could still smell it on my hand at least 5 hours after spraying it, which is pretty good for the price. This is definitely a must-buy. 9/1 if u are on the budget and like the imagination dna.

I ordered some stuff and got a 5mL sample of this. I like it. Fresh clean soapy bright citrusy. Smells like a quality blend. Longevity, sillage, projection is unknown. If I get 5-6 hours of what this first hour is, I’m satisfied. I wouldn’t be disappointed spending $40-$50 for a 100mL. It’s gym scent approved

I got this today side by side with imagination in Selfridge UK , this is 1:1 take on imagination, hope original not needed , hope longevity may differ but fantasme and imagination is same.beware that notes pyramid mentioned here are complete incorrect. Hope someone did on purpose to kill Fantasme.

this is the worst Jean Lowe so far. If its meant to be an imagination clone then it is waaaaaaayy off. It smells like the fragrance went bad. Summer Vibe release was for the win but this one is a hard no. it smells like cat piss and cacao.
