Jorge di Profumo

Woah okay, i wasn't expecting this to be any good but it's pretty darn good for the price. Basically a mix between Profumo and parfum, biggest difference is that this doesn't have as much incense as Profumo but it has way more patchouli than the Parfum. Quality is very, very comparable which is scary and I'm glad i sold my parfum... You basically get the same performance as the parfum, but at a 7th of the price since Adg Parfum is like almost $200 usd in my country at retail. I've tried over 100 fragances, niche, designer and MEs and I'm telling you, nobody will tell the difference between this and the real deal. Ofc there's differences side by side but damn, I'd say it's 95% close to Profumo and almost a 1:1 of the Parfum. Getting into the specifics of performance, i must say that this DNA clicks with my skin so it may vary for you and i got around 5 hours with loud projection for the first hour and a half, which is the same as the parfum did on me, but this one is definitely louder for sure. Maybe it's because it's an edp? idk but anyways get it, it's literally $20-$25 usd.

I haven’t picked up a bottle of ADG since probably 2007. However as we all know, that DNA is unforgettable. So when I stumbled on to Jorge Di Profumo I was intrigued. I watched a few youtube videos, read the reviews, etc., etc.. I found a good deal online to purchase the bottle, and decided it was worth the chance of it not being “great”. To my pleasant surprise, this fragrance is wonderful. Start to finish (roughly 6 hrs with decent projection in the first 2) it is a really nice and close reminder of ADG. To me, all the ADG’s between the original, profumo and profundo are quite similar, so this one scratches the itch nicely. Easy 8/10 for summer/spring - 7/10 for cooler days I believe I found it for $25, and for that amount, I’m calling this one a steal. If you already know you like the ADG DNA, this is a safe blind buy. Nose Note #88 Love it. To me it's much better than classic white AdG. Sweet, has a feeling of darkness yet it's on the fresh side. Some say it has balsamic or bitter green touches. I don't know. My wife actually doesn't like it. I love it. Too bad it's not a great performer. Very average

Best clone of Profumo. Must have in your collection, especially when you can get it for $20. Lasts and projects. All year fragrance. I've been using it since january and I can't get enough of it. Might need to buy a secondary bottle while its available

Great cheapie. Mediocre performance but at that price point you cannot complain. Safe for gifts or any occasion. Because of the low price you can just compensate with more sprays or re apply throughout the day. Great to just keep in backpack or bag.

Probably the best clone scentwise of AdG Profumo as for longevity for $20 I mean you get what you pay for. Found out about this during a shortage of AdG during the pandemic was hard to find, now I've seen it floating around more.

Tried a sample of ADG’s profondo, and parfum, and while both are very nice, I actually prefer this as it’s a perfect combination. This is a great example of the fact that in the fragrance world, price isn’t always relevant.

Fresh, sweet, clean, and formal. Very great fragrance, it's performance is not the best, but the scent itself is great. Definitely worth the $16.

A lot..and i mean a lot of compliments with this one even though it's just a linear dupe.. Bought a second bottle already as a reserve.

This is ADG profumo for cheap, decent longevity and projection. lasts a day for me with 7-8 sprays. Got it for £12.

How weak the 2022 batch before they discontinued original version of Armani - Acqua Di Gio Profumo I have is. Even with over a year of letting it age I'd say the performance is comparable with Alhambra's take on it. Scent wise it's close enough. In fact, I usually show people this fragrance and my bottle of ADG and people prefer this. fragrance snobs might be able to tell it apart sniffing their wrists up close or playing with their makeshift tester strips, but in the air, or on a stranger in public. Good luck. The difference to me is easy to describe. This has less rosemary which is a good thing as I really dislike how much there is in the original, they seem to have dialed back the sea notes too. For this to be a 10/10 for me Make it louder and spicier, put in more sea notes and it would be an absolute 10/10. I'll admit Alhambra have significantly improved since their takes on Club De Nuit Intense (official club or whatever) and Aventus Cologne (Avant). Those are such low quality they are expensive bathroom sprays or air fresheners at best. But this is fantastic. This is a bit easier to wear than ADG Profumo, it's cheap enough if you don't get those fabled magnetic caps of ADG type performance the internet promises as most don't know how perfume maceration (aging) works. You can just double your sprays without a care in the world or keep this in your car, gym bag or locker to freshen up. It's going to be harder to find a situation not to wear this. Any age can pull this off. If you want actual performance and a loud fragrance to get you through an entire work day in this price range get Issey Miyake L'eau D'Issey Intense. They are different but are achieving the same thing. I have a family member on his third bottle of intense

Nobody is going to tell the difference between this and AdG Profumo when you are wearing it. To my nose it smells 95% similar and I have had multiple bottles and batches of the Profumo. Yes there is a slight difference in the "quality" of the scent as it's 85% cheaper, but this does not smell cheap by any means. This performs very well for the price point. It's not beast mode by any means, but 6 sprays should get you through ~5 hours with decent projection. It performs better than the later batches of Profumo (after they "discontinued" and then brought it back with non-magnetic cap). For the price point it's amazing and you won't be disappointed. Perfect if AdG Profumo was your signature scent and you can't afford to spray AdG Parfum every day. As a plus, the bottle is really high quality and atomizer is good.

I bought it for 890 THB in Thailand (26 USD) after reading reviews on the Fragrantica website. This is considered one of the best clones of Profumo. Of course, I’ve never used Profumo before, but I have smelled it from a shampoo brand that is said to have a scent very similar to it. I really liked that scent, but I couldn’t afford the real Profumo, haha. In Thailand, this fragrance brand is quite expensive (around 115-145 USD), so I decided to buy this one instead. In the end, the scent lasted only about 1.5 hours on my skin and lingered on my clothes for about 4 hours. I like its fragrance because it suits the hot weather in Thailand, but its projection and longevity are not very impressive. I guess I expected too much, but it’s still okay. However, you should carry it with you and reapply every 3 hours.

I blind bought this also since I had a pretty good idea what it would smell like since I'm familiar with aqua Di Gio series. Its a pretty good take on the OG but of course there's a noticeable difference due to the quality of the ingredients, hence the price. Its a dupe of a famous scent and will behave as such if you know what I mean. Don't expect miracles for this price range but you will be able to pull it off unless someone with a " expert nose" is going to follow you around and take notes. I'd say it's a lot weaker and a bit more " salty aquatic" than the OG but qualifies as a decent dupe of what it tries to copy. It's Aqua Di Gio Black on a budget.

You know the profile, very easy wearing and popular. I love this scent, and it’s a great all round wear for pretty much any situation. Ocean air with citrus and clean musk, not getting tobacco, really don’t think that is a note in this fragrance. Considering how expensive designer houses have gotten, this cheap alternative is a no brainer. Personally I think I like Perry Ellis Red just slightly more, but this offering is a little less dated in profile and will be a welcome part of my summer rotation. Solid performance that lasts and pushes out a nice scent trail. Give it a try, a pretty safe blind buy at the price.

Very weak at first. Very much a skin scent when you first put on. Smell is spot on to Profumo. It’s pretty smooth. I will say that I wore this to the gym today and it really came alive with some heat. The mids come out and it became more pronounced and projected better. This is definitely made to be worn in warmer climates or situations. I think I will let this macerate for a few weeks and will update my review then if it changes. Despite its initial performance it’s really a no brainer when deciding to buy as it’s worthy to. I only paid $14 for the bottle new. Just get it. You can always over spray.

I personally think this smells more like ADG EDP 2024. It doesn’t have that bright green mandarin in the opening but the dry down is very similar. It’s herbaceous and earthy, the vetiver really pops. It’s has a bit of sweetness in the opening from the citrus and lavender. The performance is okay but so is any ADG and it’s way cheaper. It’s good when I want that ADG scent at random and don’t have to use the real thing. It’s more of a supplement than a replacement.

The original was NOT a nuclear performer, like some of these people suggest. It was an all right performer. But the scent... OH LORD, I loved it. Still have a spare bottle, that I will treasure for special occasions. But now for JORGE: This is close to the original in both scent and performance, and as good as you can ask for in a clone frag for the price this has. I am positively surprised. Looking forward to see what's next from Maison Alhambra. Good 4/5 <3

Damn this smells 80% identical to ADG Profumo. You get that sea note from the bergamot, lemon, and pepper in the opening. After, the tobacco gives this a dry leafy/earthy aura. I used to own ADG Profumo, but sold it. I would get this over that any day for the value for money factor. It's pretty amazing what this offers for $20 or less. 6 hours longevity and moderate projection. This is good value.

Bought it for $12, smell is decently simular but longevity and projection is really weak. I bought this to wear to the gym and after 1-1.5 hours the smell is almost completely gone with 3-4 sprays. Worth buying if you want a sporty citrus frag but spending a few tenners more gets you better citrus scents
